This work presents a compact four-element array antenna engineered to support the stringent requirements of terahertz (THz) and sixth-generation (6G) wireless communication systems. The antenna architecture incorporates double-ring patch resonators with discrete excitation mechanisms and is realized on a low-loss $5\ \mu \mathrm{m}$ Rogers 5880 dielectric substrate, selected for its favorable performance at high frequencies. The array is designed to operate optimally at a center frequency of 5.5 THz, delivering highly directional radiation characteristics that enhance beam control and spatial signal concentration. A comprehensive analysis encompassing key electromagnetic performance indicators such as S-parameters, radiation patterns, gain, and overall efficiency has been conducted. The resulting data indicate that the proposed design achieves efficient energy radiation and stable operation, underscoring its potential as a strong candidate for integration into next-generation THz-enabled 6G communication infrastructures.

This study explores the design and performance evaluation of a terahertz linear phased array specifically optimized for use in future 6G communications. The primary design goals are to achieve high directional gain and enable beam steering capabilities, which are essential for efficient signal delivery in high-frequency environments. The antenna array is composed of eight circular dipole elements configured in a linear $1\times 8$ arrangement. To facilitate effective signal transmission and simplify the overall structure, microstrip-line feeding techniques are employed. The proposed design exhibits a broad impedance bandwidth, extending from approximately 1.7 to beyond 2.3 terahertz, as measured at the −10 dB reflection coefficient threshold. In addition to its wideband characteristics, the array achieves significant radiation performance, with simulated gains exceeding 10 dBi, demonstrating its potential suitability for high-data-rate and directionally focused communication in the terahertz band.

This paper deals with the problem of signals filtering using hybrid filters. Such solutions may prove to be especially beneficial in the context of biomedical signals filtering where the signals’ amplitudes are typically not very high and they can be easily affected by different kinds of disturbances. Having a number of different types of filters tuned for some specific purposes we will show how the best filter choice is affected by selecting one ML model over another.

We present an initial study conducted on fNIRS signals using Hybrid-Cascade filters for the purpose of their quality improvement. Whilst many studies focus on filtering brain signals, so that their frequency domain properties would allow e.g. widely understood diagnostics, here we focus on the study of time-domain signal characteristics, which is relevant for potential control purposes. Taking into account various kinds of artifacts, we propose a novel cascade 1D Kalman filter to handle fNIRS signals.

This study introduces a new MIMO antenna design optimized for sub-6 GHz cellular applications. The configuration employs monopole resonators, which are known for their capability to support wide impedance bandwidths and deliver stable radiation characteristics. In this design, eight compact $\pi\text{-shaped}$ monopole elements are integrated within a space-efficient layout to facilitate multi-channel operation while minimizing mutual coupling between the elements. The antenna demonstrates effective performance within the 3.2 to 3.8 GHz frequency band, achieving good impedance matching, high radiation efficiency, and stable radiation patterns. These features highlight its suitability for sub-6 GHz cellular applications.

Due to its ability to navigate crop fields with ease, mobile robots have become more important in the agricultural industry. This study discusses a number of important topics related to agricultural robot navigation, including mapping, localization, route planning, obstacle detection, and controlled guidance. With laser-based weeding tools installed, the suggested Guiding Manager aims to maximize tracking performance of mobile autonomous robots. Integrating spiral, lateral, and linear speed controls, the system can accommodate a variety of trajectories, including curves and straight lines, that are seen in agricultural settings. To confirm the performance of the controllers under various conditions, such as loose soil, stones, and humidity, a thorough field test is conducted on a tracked mobile platform. With the Lateral controller, the average angular error is around -0.005 rad, and the average absolute lateral error is approximately 0.09 m. In contrast, the average absolute lateral error and angular inaccuracy displayed by the Spiral controller are 0.15 m and 0.013 rad, respectively. The system guarantes the safe and accurate implementation of robotic tasks in agriculture, as shown by its ±0.009 rad angular precision and ±0.015 m horizontal accuracy.

Task offloading management in 6G vehicular net-works is crucial for maintaining network efficiency, particularly as vehicles generate substantial data. Integrating secure communication through authentication introduces additional computational and communication overhead, significantly impacting offloading efficiency and latency. This paper presents a unified framework incorporating lightweight Identity-Based Cryptographic (IBC) authentication into task offloading within cloud-based 6G Vehicular Twin Networks (VTNs). Utilizing Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) in Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL), our approach optimizes authenticated offloading decisions to minimize latency and enhance resource allocation. Performance evaluation under varying network sizes, task sizes, and data rates reveals that IBC authentication can reduce offloading efficiency by up to 50 % due to the added overhead. Besides, increasing network size and task size can further reduce offloading efficiency by up to 91.7%. As a countermeasure, increasing the transmission data rate can improve the offloading performance by as much as 63%, even in the presence of authentication overhead. The code for the simulations and experiments detailed in this paper is available on GitHub for further reference and reproducibility [1].

This article presents a control design method for simultaneous shaping of the poles and zeros of linear time-invariant systems, motivated by the application of non-collocated vibration suppression to flexible multi-body systems. An entire suppression of vibrations at a target mass for a given excitation frequencies can be recast into the problem of assigning zeros of the transfer function from the excitation force to the target mass' position. The design requirement of achieving sufficient damping in the closed loop system combined with suppressing vibrations at the target, leads to the minimization of the spectral abscissa function of the closed loop system as a function of the controller parameters, subject to zero location constraints. These constraints exhibit polynomial dependence on the controller parameters. We present two approaches to solve the optimization problem which are both based on constraint elimination followed by application of an algorithm for non-smooth unconstrained optimization. The design approach is applicable to delay-free models as well as time-delay models of retarded and neutral type. Simulations results illustrate its applicability to a spring-mass-damper system.

This research introduces cloud-powered virtual doctor robots to improve elderly care and chronic illness management. This system uses recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to give personalized medical care to elderly chronic disease patients. These virtual doctor robots may integrate with cloud computing infrastructure to access huge medical databases for real-time patient data analysis and individualized treatment and care suggestions. Healthcare technology has advanced by using RNNs to learn from patient data, adapt to changing health situations, and predict prospective health issues. RNNs can interpret sequential data, thus virtual doctor robots may identify trends in patient health parameters, forecast illness development, and suggest risk mitigation strategies. Cloud-powered virtual doctor robots provide a scalable solution to conventional healthcare systems rising issues. These robots can work effectively in resource-constrained areas by offloading computational chores to distant servers, providing continuous medical expertise and lowering healthcare staff reliance. This technique might improve aged care and reduce load on overworked healthcare systems. Using proactive monitoring, timely intervention, and personalized guidance, virtual doctor robots with RNNs can improve health outcomes, empower patients to manage chronic conditions, and create a more sustainable healthcare model.

Numerous tools, such as Google Meet, Microsoft Team, Zoom, Skype, Google Hangout, and social media, have been utilized for online learning. TikTok is one social media that can be used for online learning. TikTok is a unique application that can be productively used for online learning processes. However, there's a lack of research to examine the usefulness of TikTok applications for online learning within Malaysian samples. Therefore, this study aims to identify the usefulness of TikTok as a learning tool and investigate the students' perceptions of online learning using TikTok in one education University in Malaysia. This study employed a cross-sectional survey as its research design as part of the quantitative research methodology. Note that 317 students enrolled in one education university in Malaysia make up the sample for this study. The questionnaire has been validated by two professionals. The results revealed that students have a positive perception of the usefulness of TikTok in online learning. The suggested approach achieved the mean of 3.924 and standard deviation of 0.918 in for the students' perception. In addition, the findings of this study also show that perceived information value using TikTok in online learning has the highest mean value.
