Recently, deep learning has achieved state-of-the-art performance for many fields e.g., image classification, action recognition, natural language processing, speech recognition, etc. For the speech separation issue, conventional networks directly optimize sources or masks while deep clustering learns embedding matrix training during and clusters an embedding matrix testing during. Deep clustering has obtained some outstanding results in time frequency domain speech separation. Conventional networks have an end-to-end training to take advantage directly signal approximation. The properties and strengths of the traditional networks and deep clustering are combined to improve performances. In this study, we have proposed a multi-learning method by combining a deep clustering and one conventional network. The experiment was conducted on the TIMIT dataset—one of the most standard datasets for speech separation and the results have shown that this method outperforms the component network and state-of-the-art methods recently proposed in terms of common metrics like SDR, SIR, and SAR. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Environmental awareness has recently emerged as one of the most crucial topics. As a result, various groups advocate for these technologies and research ways to promote their usage in various contexts. This study examines the factors influencing the intention and use of green technology among academics. This study integrates Price Value (PV) and Consideration of future consequence (CFC) to Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) as a theoretical basis. Two hundred five valid replies were gathered and processed through statistical analysis. The results of this study partly support the developed hypotheses. Four hypotheses developed from TPB have presented significant relationships. However, PV and CFC were not. The findings indicate that individuals in this study did not consider CFC or PV of green IT products as critical factors in their decision-making process. Findings also suggest that for implementation success, competent parties must consider the campaign to increase individual awareness and provide financial support regarding environmental policy. © 2023 IEEE.

From the beginning,the process of research and its publication is an ever-growing phenomenon and with the emergence of web technologies,its growth rate is *** a rough estimate,more than thirty thousand research journals have been issuing around four million papers annually on *** engines,indexing services,and digital libraries have been searching for such publications over the ***,getting the most relevant articles against the user requests is yet a *** is mainly because the articles are not appropriately indexed based on the hierarchies of granular subject *** overcome this issue,researchers are striving to investigate new techniques for the classification of the research articles especially,when the complete article text is not available(a case of nonopen access articles).The proposed study aims to investigate the multilabel classification over the available metadata in the best possible way and to assess,“to what extent metadata-based features can perform in contrast to content-based approaches.”In this regard,novel techniques for investigating multilabel classification have been proposed,developed,and evaluated on metadata such as the Title and Keywords of the *** proposed technique has been assessed for two diverse datasets,namely,from the Journal of universal computer science(***)and the benchmark dataset comprises of the articles published by the Association for computing machinery(ACM).The proposed technique yields encouraging results in contrast to the state-ofthe-art techniques in the literature.

Crafting Compelling Argumentative Writing for Undergraduates: Exploring the Nexus of Digital Annotations, Conversational Agents, and Collaborative Concept Maps

Argumentative writing is a fundamental aspect of undergraduate students’ academic and scientific writing related to critical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, previous studies have shown that students face various difficulties with argumentative writing, such as unclear and illogical ideas, less-structured arguments, and unbalanced interpretation of issues, data, and evidence. This study aims to improve the argumentative writing skills of undergraduate students by integrating computer-supported argumentative writing tools, such as annotation, conversational agents (CAs), and collaborative concept maps, into an online learning management system. Since the study was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, these tools can support meaningful learning activities and investigation in argumentative writing. The researchers divided sixty participants into the experimental group (N = 30) and the control group (N = 30). The results showed that the experimental group’s writing achievements outperformed the control group, and the three tools effectively improved the five elements of argumentative writing, including claims, grounds, warrants, backings, and rebuttal. Furthermore, a deep analysis found that the number of annotations, valid CAs’ responses, and argument nodes on collaborative concept maps can significantly predict students’ argumentative writing development. Moreover, students perceived that the incorporated tools could effectively improve their argumentative writing skills. © The Author(s) 2024.

In general, public or private organizations or companies have used information-based technology as a support to improve business performance to be more effective and efficient in order to achieve a company's business goals. Given the large contribution of information technology in the application of hotel applications as a supporting information system, it is a vital system that must avoid risks that can hinder and cause harm to the hotel management business processes. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out risk management using the COBIT 5 framework to manage possible risks that may occur based on the APO12 (Manage Risk) domain. From the evaluation results of the data obtained through observation and interviews as well as the calculation of the results of the questionnaire based on 6 APO12 subdomains, the results of the risk management level capability assessment in hotel applications are still at level 3 or have reached the level of established process with the target to be achieved at level 4 resulting in a gap of 1 level. Based on the results obtained, it is necessary to propose recommendations that can be used by hotels in improving the application of information technology risk management so that in the future it can achieve the expected target level so that the APO12 level of capability can increase and become more optimal. © 2023 IEEE.

Industry 4.0 has driven the need for information Technology (IT) & Operational Technology (OT) convergence to modernize OT by leveraging IT. The challenges for manufacturing operations are utilizing and converting years of scattered data into valuable information integrated into the company's digital transformation strategy. This paper aims to provide a systematic literature review of current evidence in digital transformation for acquiring automation & control technologies data in manufacturing operations, such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control system (DCS), and Manufacturing Execution system (MES), for analytics purposes and identify the current trends and best practices in this area. The findings cover current information on influential researchers, published journals, research trends, industries, industry types, types of analytics applications, methods, and frameworks for acquiring automation & control technologies data from the legacy OT infrastructure. © 2023 The Authors. This paper explores the entity relationship diagram, a popular conceptual model used to depict entities, attributes, and relationships graphically. To help with this, we use ChatGPT, a sophisticated language model based on the GPT architecture, which can translate natural language text into an entity relationship diagram. The paper details the process of evaluating how well ChatGPT can perform compared to other state-of-the-art approaches for entity and relationship extraction. Our experimental findings demonstrate the strong ability of ChatGPT to translate natural language text into entity relationship diagrams, which has potential applications for knowledge graph building, data integration, and database schema design. Moreover, it can aid in automating the extraction and organization of information from unstructured text data, thereby simplifying the study of complex systems.

The rapid growth of cryptocurrencies has gained much attention by media, investors and scholars, since it is widely used for investment purposes as an alternative to regular currencies. Therefore the intelligent management and under-standing the characteristics of cryptocurrencies are becoming more interesting. The price of cryptocurrencies are characterized by linear and nonlinear trend, seasonality and high volatility, which increases the risk factors for investors. This study ex-periments with three different time series forecasting methods, specifically considered for Cryptocurrencies price such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Monero (XMR) and Cardano (XRP), and devises a procedure to evaluate their performance. Time series data are collected and examined using descriptive statistics. In next step, the White Neural Network is used for Non-Linearity and Dickey-Fuller for nonstationary and correlation among different settings of datasets. Based on these analyses, we evaluate efficient financial forecasting models such as Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Trigonometric, Box-Cox transformation, ARMA errors, Trend and Seasonal (TBATS) and Neural Network Autoregressive (NNAR) with reference to different parameters configuration of these models. The performance is evaluated using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) criterion and models are ranked by statistical mean and standard deviation of MAPE values. The NNAR model gives minimum MAPE of 2.823 while the minimum convergence time of 4.9835s is observed with TBATS and hence, these are ranked at top amongst other models respectively. These results underpin that neural network-based models perform equally well on both types of nonlinear and linear financial data and, thus, have the potential to improve the impact of financial transaction and cryptocurrencies price bringing more innovation in the decision making process. © 2022 IEEE.

The use of information technology plays an important and necessary role in the development of ecotourism institutional. Likewise, if the development and progress of information technology can be applied to the small and medium businesses related to the ecotourism industry then, the selling value of the ecotourism industry will develop and increase. This research was conducted to determine the level of readiness of the ecotourism industry in carrying out the sustainable implementation of information technology in managing the ecotourism industry. We developed a research model by combining and adapting the technology readiness model and the successful information technology development model for the development of the ecotourism industry in six ecotourism units in Indonesia. This quantitative study involved 300 SME workers and managers. Data was processed and analyzed using the Multi Dimensional Scaling method, with descriptive data entered into a spreadsheet application. According to the analysis performed for this study, the sustainability index value was 53.11%, which is in the range of (50-74.99) percent or is fairly sustainable. The leverage attribute refers to the use of social media to promote wild products in the ecotourism sector. Wild products are goods or services that are produced without causing environmental harm. © 2023 IEEE.

The IoT is concerned in every part of the human beings such as medical care, education, smart cities, home automation, and many business fields. While the IoT gives a myriad of benefits, security remains the biggest issues for using of many IoT applications in various environments. The emergence of new technologies in various fields also pose challenges in the field of forensic researches. It is said that Device Level forensics, Network Level forensics, and Cloud Level forensics are the three types of IoT forensics levels. Among them, Network Level forensics shows all kinds of communication networks that connected to IoT devices over the Internet. In this study, detecting and analyzing TCP-SYN flooding attacks and UDP flooding attacks based on Transport Layer (one type of DoS attacks), network forensics investigation over the traffics are presented. Capturing TCP-SYN flooding attacks and UDP flooding attacks and analyzing them with IO graphs by using Wireshark Network Analysis Tool is also described in this paper. © 2023 IEEE.
