Accurate and reliable fruit detection and recognition in orchards is critical for enabling higher-level agriculture tasks such as fruit picking. However, detecting and recognizing fruits with occlusion by neighboring fruits is extremely difficult. Faster R-CNN (Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network) is a well-known deep learning technology for object detection and recognition. Thus, this study investigates the application of Faster R-CNN for apple detection and recognition. Two different datasets have been constructed under variable illumination conditions and occlusion;an inter-class dataset that consists of images of apples and oranges, and an intra-class dataset that consists of images of two types of apples, namely fuji and royal gala apples. Results indicate that Faster R-CNN can detect and recognize apples from oranges, and the fuji apple in the orchards, with high accuracy. This suggests that Faster R-CNN can be used practically in the real orchard context. © 2023 IEEE.

In Indonesia, mental health awareness is not as prominent as physical health, and many adolescents have experienced mental health problems. Some people hide their mental and emotional problems by appearing cheerful and peaceful, but research shows that body language and voice tone can reveal a person's inner psychological state. Similarly, handwriting can be analyzed through graphology to reveal personality traits such as honesty, emotional stability, and fears. Graphology is a time-consuming and expensive process, using image processing and machine learning, graphology can be done quickly without human bias. This research aims to predict the personality traits by implement image processing combined with machine learning to analyze handwriting features. Using lazy learner algorithm of K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, SVM and Naïve Bayes, the application can predict the MBTI personality from handwriting image with an accuracy of 94%, 78%, and 93% respectively. From the experiment, it is shown that the application able to do the analysis of one's handwriting and then predict the personality traits, fully automated using a computer © 2023 IEEE.

The sensorimotor system is a crucial mechanism that enables organisms to categorize information in their environment, a skill necessary for survival. According to cognitive scientist Steven Harnad's 'To Cognize is to Categorize: Cognition is Categorization all living things are essentially sensorimotor systems. This approach is proposed to serve as a novel concept for the development of algorithms inspired by swarm intelligence. Many authors of such algorithms have drawn inspiration from animal species, attempting to emulate their abilities to interact with and navigate their environment. However, these abilities are essentially rooted in the organisms' categorization skills, which are a fundamental characteristic of all sensorimotor systems. Therefore, when designing new algorithms and metaheuristics, it is unnecessary to seek out new species with specific behaviors;instead, the entire sensorimotor system can be observed, and its sensor capabilities can be incorporated even if they do not exist in nature. In order to justify this, abstraction was used as a way to demonstrate the creation of concepts. The paper offers a new perspective on the development of swarm intelligence algorithms and promotes a holistic approach to algorithm design based on Steven Harnad's viewpoint of sensory motor systems. © 2023 MIPRO Croatian Society.

Cyberbullying is a variation of bullying that involves the use of technology to abuse others. This study examined the relationship between behavioural characteristics and cyberbullying profiles among youngsters. A total of 221 youngsters aged between 15-30 in Malaysia were surveyed, and their raw scores ran through statistical analysis. Findings show that the majority of the participants have never engaged in cyberbullying, but a few of them had experienced cyberbullying. Findings from the survey revealed that the percentages of female participants as cybervictims are higher (63.7%) than male participants (36.3%), while the percentages of male participants as bullies are higher (52.9%) than female participants (47.1%). The most prominent behaviour of cyberbullies is sending mean messages directly to cybervictims and the most prominent behaviour of cybervictims is being excluded from online groups. © 2022 IEEE.

Rubber plantations are an integral part of economy in Malaysia. However, inadequate soil moisture poses a significant problem for rubber trees as it can lead to water stress, ultimately hindering their growth, leaf development, and latex production. Water stress occurs when the trees are unable to obtain sufficient water from the soil, which resulting in stunted growth, leaf development, leading to fewer and smaller leaves. There is needed an effective water management strategy to ensure optimal growth of rubber trees for latex production. Thus, this project is aim to design and build an active soil monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This system is made up of two major components: soil moisture and light intensity. The first component is a soil moisture sensor, which determines the soil's moisture content;light intensity sensor, which detects the intensity of the light and ANSELF Brushless DC Pump connected to an Arduino. This system provides sustainable solutions to increase crop output, reduce waste, and develop a greener plant cultivation. This smart monitoring plant growth system prototype is important in agriculture and plant production. Accurate ground truth annotation plays a vital role in training and evaluating deep learning models for forest and non-forest classification tasks. This paper introduces a robust algorithm designed to automate the annotation process, specifically targeting the identification of regions of interest;either forest or non-forest based on satellite images. The algorithm incorporates advanced image processing techniques, such as Gaussian blur and thresholding, to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the generated ground truth annotations. To determine the optimal sequence of steps, the results from a pilot test revealed that applying Gaussian blur before grayscale and thresholding operation yielded the best performance. The proposed algorithm presents a systematic and efficient approach to generate the ground truth annotations, effectively reducing manual effort and minimizing subjectivity among human annotators. Evaluation against a set of referenced ground truth dataset showcases the algorithm's effectiveness, with an impressive SSIM value of 0.874640, thus, accurately identifying the forest and non-forest regions. The study contributes to the field of forest monitoring by offering a valuable tool to researchers engaged in land cover analysis using satellite imagery. Moreover, it paves the way for future advancements in automated annotation techniques. The study uniquely emphasizes the aim of minimizing biases and uncertainties, which stands as a novel and pivotal contribution. The study underscores the significance of harnessing cutting-edge technology to foster efficiency, dependability, and precision in analyzing complex forest ecosystems. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper studies the complexity of operations on finite automata and the complexity of their decision problems when the alphabet is unary and n the number of states of the finite automata considered. The following main results are obtained: (1) Equality and inclusion of NFAs can be decided within time 2O((n log n)1/3);previous upper bound 2O((n log n)1/2) was by Chrobak (1986) via DFA conversion. (2) The state complexity of operations of UFAs (unambiguous finite automata) increases for complementation and union at most by quasipolynomial;however, for concatenation of two n-state UFAs, the worst case is an UFA of at least 2O(n1/6) states. Due to the proximity of the coa sta l line, the a rea within Kuda t Peninsula tha t wa s formed by the ophiolite ba sement, Kuda t Forma tion Chert-Spilite Forma tion, a nd a lluvium deposit is susceptible to sa ltwa ter intrusion. In this study, two survey lines of geoelectrica l resistivity a nd induced pola riza tion ima ging survey with a tota l length of 200 m were ca rried out. The Wenner configura tion wa s used to cha ra cterize the subsurfa ce of the Kuda t Peninsula. The interpola tion between geoelectrica l resistivity a nd cha rgea bility profiles provided better interpreta tions of the subsurfa ce environment. The sa ltwa ter intrusion zone displa ys a resistivity va lue between 0 – 5.0 Ωm a nd a cha rgea bility va lue between 0 – 3.0 ms. In recent years, the exponential growth of e-commerce has transformed consumer purchasing behavior, with online reviews playing a crucial role in shaping buying decisions. Unfortunately, the prevalence of manipulated reviews has become a significant challenge, undermining the integrity of consumer feedback and eroding trust in e-commerce platforms. This research paper focuses on developing an advanced solution to address the issue of manipulated reviews using the innovative language model, GPT-4. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of GPT-4 in identifying and flagging manipulated reviews within the context of e-commerce platforms. GPT-4 is a state-of-the-art language model with superior natural language processing capabilities, making it an ideal candidate for automated review analysis. The research methodology encompasses a large-scale data collection process, where diverse e-commerce reviews are gathered from various platforms. To simulate real-world scenarios, manipulated reviews are artificially injected into the dataset, representing different degrees of sophistication. The dataset is then annotated by expert reviewers to establish ground truth labels for comparison. Next, GPT-4 is fine-tuned using transfer learning to specialize in detecting manipulated reviews. The fine-tuning process involves exposing the model to both genuine and manipulated review samples, allowing it to learn patterns and features indicative of manipulation. The fine-tuned model's performance is then evaluated using various metrics, including precision, recall, F1 score, and accuracy, against the ground truth dataset. The results of the experiment demonstrate the efficacy of GPT-4 in distinguishing between authentic and manipulated reviews. GPT-4 showcases remarkable accuracy and robustness in detecting increasingly sophisticated manipulation techniques, outperforming previous iterations of language models and traditional detection methods. Many anonymous cryptocurrencies have been introduced to address the privacy issue in Bitcoin. Compared to traditional security schemes like hashing and encryption, the security measurement for cryptocurrency is less precise. In hashing, there is a direct security challenge, such as reproducing a hash collision. However, in anonymous cryptocurrency, a direct security challenge is not precise. Many anonymous cryptocurrency proposals address this issue in the form of cryptographic proof. This paper describes a brief evolution of anonymous cryptocurrency, followed by a brief description of CoinChain Protocol. This paper also proves that CoinChain has a high anonymity set. A methodology and code to produce a simulated blockchain from a list of actual transactions for any third party to decipher is also described.
