This study presents experimental results showing that weak, extremely low frequency electromagnetic (EM) fields influence the growth rates of HT-1080 fibrosarcoma cells in vitro and offers a theoretical explanation for these effects. The results demonstrate that weak magnetic fields both increase and decrease the growth rates of fibrosarcoma cells by altering the mitochondrial superoxide (O2-) and calcium ions (Ca2+) concentrations in living cells. Over a 4-day exposure period, fibrosarcoma growth rates were modulated in the presence of low-level alternating current (AC) magnetic fields at a 10 μT amplitude at 13.5 Hz to 30 Hz frequency, superimposed on a 45 μT static background field. Effects due to changes in amplitude from 10 to 30 μT at selected frequencies are also investigated with the same superimposed static field. © 2025 USNC-URSI.

Broadband light detection and sensing are widely applied in modern *** a promising candidate for next-generation two-dimensional(2D)optoelectronic material,bismuth oxyselenide(Bi_(2)O_(2)Se)nanoplates exhibit many prospects in the application of visible light detection due to their peculiar *** this work,we report the photodetection performance of single-crystal 2D Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplates grown on SiO_(2)based on a ternary-alloy growth model by utilizing chemical vapor deposition(CVD).The Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplates were found to have an even and uniform square shape with side lengths up to 15μm and an approximate thickness of 15 nm.A visible-light photodetector was fabricated based on a CVD-grown Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplate,and characterized by a set of illumination experiments using a 400 nm laser at temperatures ranging from 77 to 370 *** device exhibited superior performance at the temperature of 77 K,with a responsivity of 523 A/W,a specific detectivity of 1.37×10^(11)Jones,a response time of 0.2175 ms,an external quantum efficiency of 162,119.44%,resulting in high-quality and fullcolor imaging in the visible *** results indicate that the single-crystalline Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplates have excellent potential in broadband photodetection and non-cryogenic imaging.

This paper outlines scalable collaborative protocols for achieving regulated output synchronization in heterogeneous multi-agent systems (MAS) in presence of arbitrary desired convergence rates. The proposed protocol design is scale-free, i.e., only requires knowledge of the agents' models, without any networks information and the number of agents. With our protocols, only adjusting a single parameter allows output synchronization to be achieved at any convergence rates. © 2023 IEEE.

Optimal parameter estimation of three solar cell models using modified spotted hyena optimization

This paper is concerned with identifying the optimal parameters of solar cell by using a modified spotted hyena optimization algorithm (MSHOA). In the MSHOA, the optimization process initializes random search agents then selects the best agents. The MSHOA modifies the original spotted hyena optimization algorithm by using an accelerating function, which improves the performance of reaching the optimal solution. The convergence occurs rapidly and realizes the global optimization with small iterations number. The numerical results obtained with different models emphasize that the MSHOA has the ability and stability to estimate the global optimal decision variables of solar cell module with a minimal root mean square error compared with other algorithms existed in literature. Moreover, three electrical models called single diode model, double diode model and triple diode model TDM are accurate for depicting electrical behavior of PV modules. It is truth to say that TDM is the most accurate model among the three models. The significant agreements between the estimated model using MSHOA, at different operating temperatures and irradiances, and the measured data assert on the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and the accuracy of PV model. All results emphasize that the MSHOA is an effective and reliable optimization algorithm for finding the optimal parameters of solar cell modules. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2022.

This work carried out a measurement study of the Ethereum Peer-to-Peer(P2P)network to gain a better understanding of the underlying *** was applied because it pioneered distributed applications,smart contracts,and ***,its application layer language“Solidity”is widely used in smart contracts across different public and private *** this end,we wrote a new Ethereum client based on Geth to collect Ethereum node ***,various web scrapers have been written to collect nodes’historical data fromthe Internet Archive and the Wayback Machine *** collected data has been compared with two other services that harvest the number of *** has collectedmore than 30% more than the other *** data trained a neural network model regarding time series to predict the number of online nodes in the *** findings show that there are less than 20% of the same nodes daily,indicating thatmost nodes in the network change *** poses a question of the stability of the ***,historical data shows that the top ten countries with Ethereum clients have not changed since *** popular operating system of the underlying nodes has shifted from Windows to Linux over time,increasing node *** results have also shown that the number of Middle East and North Africa(MENA)Ethereum nodes is neglected compared with nodes recorded from other *** opens the door for developing new mechanisms to encourage users from these regions to contribute to this ***,the model has been trained and demonstrated an accuracy of 92% in predicting the future number of nodes in the Ethereum network.

Various organizations store data online rather than on physical *** the number of user’s data stored in cloud servers increases,the attack rate to access data from cloud servers also *** researchers worked on different algorithms to protect cloud data from replay *** of the papers used a technique that simultaneously detects a full-message and partial-message replay *** study presents the development of a TKN(Text,Key and Name)cryptographic algorithm aimed at protecting data from replay *** program employs distinct ways to encrypt plain text[P],a user-defined Key[K],and a Secret Code[N].The novelty of the TKN cryptographic algorithm is that the bit value of each text is linked to another value with the help of the proposed algorithm,and the length of the cipher text obtained is twice the length of the original *** the scenario that an attacker executes a replay attack on the cloud server,engages in cryptanalysis,or manipulates any data,it will result in automated modification of all associated values inside the *** mechanism has the benefit of enhancing the detectability of replay ***,the attacker cannot access data not included in any of the papers,regardless of how effective the attack strategy *** the end of paper,the proposed algorithm’s novelty will be compared with different algorithms,and it will be discussed how far the proposed algorithm is better than all other algorithms.

In recent years, the proliferation of smart devices and associated technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), has witnessed a substantial growth. However, the limited processing power and storage capacity of smart devices make them vulnerable to cyberattacks, rendering traditional security and cryptography techniques inadequate. To address these challenges, blockchain (BC) technology has emerged as a promising solution. This study introduces an efficient framework for the Internet of Healthcare Things (IoHT), presenting a novel cryptosystem for color medical images using BC technology in conjunction with the IoT, Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256), shuffling, and bitwise XOR operations. The encryption scheme is specifically designed for an IIoT grid network computing system, relying on diffusion and confusion principles. In this paper, the proposed cryptosystem strength is evaluated against differential attacks with several comprehensive metrics. Simulation results and theoretical analysis demonstrate the cryptosystem effectiveness, showcasing its ability to provide high levels of security and immunity to data leakage. The proposed cryptosystem offers a versatile range of technical solutions and strategies that are adaptable to various scenarios. The evaluation metrics, with approximate values of 99.61% for Number of Pixels Change Rate (NPCR), 33.46% for Unified Average Changed Intensity (UACI), and 8 for information entropy, closely align with the desired ideal outcomes. Consequently, this paper contributes to the advancement of secure and private systems for medical image encryption based on BC technology, potentially mitigating the risks associated with cyberattacks on smart medical devices. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Data-Driven Approach for Condition Monitoring and Improving Power Output of Photovoltaic Systems

Increasing renewable energy targets globally has raised the requirement for the efficient and profitable operation of solar photovoltaic(PV)*** light of this requirement,this paper provides a path for evaluating the operating condition and improving the power output of the PV system in a grid integrated *** achieve this,different types of faults in grid-connected PV systems(GCPVs)and their impact on the energy loss associated with the electrical network are analyzed.A data-driven approach using neural networks(NNs)is proposed to achieve root cause analysis and localize the fault to the component level in the *** localized fault condition is combined with a parallel operation of adaptive neurofuzzy inference units(ANFIUs)to develop a power mismatch-based control unit(PMCU)for improving the power output of the *** develop the proposed framework,a 10-kW single-phase GCPV is simulated for training the NN-based anomaly detection approach with 14 deviation ***,the developed algorithm is combined with the PMCU implemented with the experimental setup of *** results identified 98.2%training accuracy and 43000 observations/sec prediction speed for the trained classifier,and improved power output with reduced voltage and current harmonics for the grid-connected PV operation.
