In this paper, we addresses the emergence of autonomous and semi-autonomous radio frequency (RF) measurements as a vital application for robots, particularly in indoor environments where traditional methods are labor-intensive and error-prone. We propose a method utilizing Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) equipped with Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and RGB-D cameras to conduct precise and repetitive RF signal measurements autonomously. The system architecture, comprising both hardware and software components, enables seamless integration and operation, reducing human intervention to preparation and analysis tasks. The proposed solution demonstrates its efficacy through experimental validation, showcasing its capability to conduct autonomous measurements with high precision and efficiency, thereby enhancing the testing of wireless communication systems and algorithms.

Weed and crop classification is essential because weeds can absorb nutrients from the soil that are meant for crops. Manual weed removal is inefficient and causes fatigue for farmers. Additionally, inappropriate herbicide use can damage the environment. Recently, researchers have begun developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist farmers in classifying weeds and crops. One of the crucial stages in using AI is the feature extraction stage. The use of single features for weed and crop classification is less accurate, so this research proposes the use of hybrid features. This research uses a combination of visual features, such as color, shape, and texture, to increase accuracy compared to using only a single feature. Experimental results show an accuracy of 0.968 for the classification of corn, potato, and weed plants. In fact, the proposed method can classify potato and corn plants correctly. This research also presents a comparison using non-handcrafted features, which we evaluate with a transfer learning model. Experimental results show that our proposed method is still more accurate. It is hoped that these results can help farmers modernize agricultural technology in weed removal.

We present a systematic study of quantum sensing of ultralow temperature in biwire ultracold polar molecules of a quasi-one-dimensional (1D) trap by exploring the dynamics of two physically different qubit models. The two models consist of a trapped impurity atom that act as a temperature quantum sensor interacting with polar molecules reservoir, where dipole moments are aligned head-to-tail across the wires. Our model takes advantage of the adjustable interwire distance to accurately control the precision ultralow temperatures measurement. We show that the system undergoes a transition from Markovian to non-Markovian dynamics, which can be controlled by changing the interwire separation, the dipole-–dipole interaction (DDI), and the temperature. We characterize the thermometric performance using the quantum signal-to-noise ratio for both models and demonstrate that such a quantity exhibits a higher peak at ultralow temperature. We therefore emphasize that ultracold polar molecules are crucial for revolutionizing temperature sensing.

The paper presents a survey-based study that aimed to determine the prevalence of anti-patterns in the Scrum software development methodology. A total of 35 anti-patterns were selected from the literature review, and 42 respondents working in software development organizations located in Poland indicated whether they had encountered each anti-pattern in their organizations. The study found that “Unfinished Tasks” was the most prevalent anti-pattern, highlighting the importance of proper planning and task management within sprints. Additionally, several other common anti-patterns were identified, including daily scrums being extended beyond the recommended time, user stories not being fully refined, and the sprint goal not being defined at the sprint planning meeting. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the current state of Scrum methodology in software development organizations and highlight areas where there is room for improvement.
