UAVs are playing an increasingly important role in the field of wilderness rescue by virtue of their flexibility. This paper proposes a fusion of UAV vision technology and satellite image analysis technology for active wildfires detection and road networks extraction of wildfire areas and real-time dynamic escape route planning for people in distress. Firstly, the fire source location and the segmentation of smoke and flames are targeted based on Sentinel 2 satellite imagery. Secondly, the road segmentation and the road condition assessment are performed by D-linkNet and NDVI values in the central area of the fire source by UAV. Finally, the dynamic optimal route planning for humans in real time is performed by the weighted A* algorithm in the road network with the dynamic fire spread model. Taking the Chongqing wildfire on August 24, 2022, as a case study, the results demonstrate that the dynamic escape route planning algorithm can provide an optimal real-time navigation path for humans in the presence of fire through the information fusion of UAVs and satellites.

Scheduling algorithms in distributed heterogeneous systems have been the subject of extensive research. However, with the advancement of technology, addressing real-time, reliability, and energy consumption issues in dynamic environments has become increasingly critical. Existing studies mostly focus on static approaches, which are challenging to achieve scheduling objectives rapidly and adaptively. Therefore, we propose a novel dynamic energy-aware scheduling algorithm for deadlines and reliability constrained applications. Firstly, we introduce a prioritization method for multitasking applications to ensure more applications meet their deadlines. Subsequently, we present specific strategies for task allocation to achieve a better trade-off between energy consumption and reliability. Experimental results on randomly generated applications validate the superiority of our proposed method in terms of performance compared to other algorithms.

As one of the world's largest emitters of greenhouse gases,China has set itself the ambitious goal of achieving carbon peaking and carbon ***,it is crucial to quantify the magnitude and trend of sources and sinks of atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),and to monitor China's progress toward these *** state-of-the-art datasets and models,this study comprehensively estimated the anthropogenic CO_(2)emissions from energy,industrial processes and product use,and waste along with natural sources and sinks of CO_(2)for all of China during *** recognize the differences among various methods of estimating greenhouse emissions,the estimates are compared with China's National Greenhouse Gas Inventories(NGHGIs)for 1994,2005,2010,2012,and *** CO_(2)emissions in China have increased by 7.39 times from 1980 to 12.77 Gt CO_(2)a^(-1)in *** benefiting from ecological projects(e.g.,Three Norths Shelter Forest System Project),the land carbon sink in China has reached 1.65 Gt CO_(2)a^(-1)averaged through 2010-2021,which is almost 15.81 times that of the carbon sink in the *** average,China's terrestrial ecosystems offset 14.69%±2.49%of anthropogenic CO_(2)emissions through *** provincial-level administrative regions of China,Xizang and Qinghai,have achieved carbon neutrality according to our estimates,but nearly half of the administrative regions of China have terrestrial carbon sink offsets of less than 10%of anthropogenic CO_(2)*** study indicated a high level of consistency between NGHGIs and various datasets used for estimating fossil CO_(2)emissions,but found notable differences for land carbon *** estimates of the terrestrial carbon sinks of NGHGIs urgently need to be verified with process-based models which integrate the comprehensive carbon cycle processes.

We study the problem of wave propagation in the medium whose velocity characteristics change under an external impact. We will study a three-dimensional case. The aim of our study is constructing the asymptotic of the solution for the wave operator with a variable time depended coefficient of the Laplacian at infinity. This paper presents the results of the joint work of image analysis specialists and ophthalmologists on the task of analyzing images obtained by the method of optical coherence tomography angiography. A method was developed to automate the detection of pathological changes in the morphometric characteristics of the fundus. The solution of the image recognition problem assumes the presence of certain image representations, the presence of effective recognition algorithms, and the compliance of the used image representations with the requirements of the recognition algorithms for the source data. To reduce images to a form that is easy to recognize we considered sets of features that met all the necessary requirements of specialists. Chosen feature model was implemented to the problem of classification of images of patients with and without pathologies. The developed method makes it possible to classify pathological changes in the vascular bed of the human eye with high accuracy. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Taylor Models present the polynomial generalization of the simple interval approach for rigorous computations of differential equations suggested by Martin Berz. These models are used to obtain better estimates for guaranteed enclosures of solutions. The authors of the recent papers describing the mathematical framework suggest some improvements of the models. These models are assumed to be applied to high dimensional systems of equations. Therefore, a parallel version of these models is required. In this paper improved Taylor models (TM) are implemented on the architecture of the general-purpose graphics processing units (GPU). Algebraic operations and algorithms are implemented with a particular optimization for the computational architecture, namely: addition, multiplication, convolution to two TMs, substitution of independent variable, integration with respect to a variable and boundary interval estimations. For this purpose interval arithmetic is implemented using intrinsic functions. The multiple GPU version is also implemented and its scalability is verified. In terms of acceleration various test examples are presented. The reduction operation is discovered to the bottleneck of the GPU performance. Using the GPU version for sufficiently large problem dimensions is suggested. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.

Material identification is a technology that can help to identify the type of target *** approaches depend on expensive instruments,complicated pre-treatments and professional *** is difficult to find a substantial yet effective material identification method to meet the daily use *** this paper,we introduce a Wi-Fi-signal based material identification approach by measuring the amplitude ratio and phase difference as the key features in the material classifier,which can significantly reduce the cost and guarantee a high level *** practical measurement of WiFi based material identification,these two features are commonly interrupted by the software/hardware noise of the channel state information(CSI).To eliminate the inherent noise of CSI,we design a denoising method based on the antenna array of the commercial off-the-shelf(COTS)Wi-Fi *** that,the amplitude ratios and phase differences can be more stably utilized to classify the *** implement our system and evaluate its ability to identify materials in indoor *** result shows that our system can identify 10 commonly seen liquids with an average accuracy of 98.8%.It can also identify similar liquids with an overall accuracy higher than 95%,such as various concentrations of salt water.

Recently, system level approach has been proposed as a novel design tool for large-scale cyber physical systems in the discrete time LTI framework. The main idea of the new paradigm is a shift from constructing and parametrizing the desired optimal controller to the parametrization of the achievable closed loop behaviours (closed loop shape). Then, the controller is synthesised from the system level data in a way that keep the imposed structural constraints intact. In this paper we lift the main idea of the system level parametrization to a general level, that also includes the class of LPV systems. We also provide a general scheme for the realization related to different Möbius transforms which are formulated in terms of the original data and also keep intact the structural information.

In this paper we study the control of a lower limb exoskeleton dedicated for Kid’s rehabilitation. A fractional order proportional-derivative (FOPD) control with constant gravity compensation is proposed for the regulation of a robot with two joints. The control law requires the measure of the position and the used torque of the two joints. The goal is to stabilize the robot in a desired trajectory with less error and energy.A simulation study reveals the better performance that can be obtained with the fractional proportional derivative with gravity compensation as compared to an FOPD for the first performance criteria (the IAE) and the PD with gravity compensation for the second criteria (the IAU).
