The grid-connecting control and maximum power point tracking control of photovoltaic inverters have long been the research focus in the field of solar power generation. In this paper, a new coordinated modular multilevel converter (MMC) control strategy based on virtual synchronization and MPPT is proposed for grid-connected inverters in the PV/Battery system. The proposed strategy realizes frequency and voltage droop control with the synchro's inertia and damping characteristics, and improves the power angle stability as well as system voltage stability. Simulation results in MATLAB/Simulink verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

This paper proposes a high-performance full electromagnetic transient simulation system of fujian power grid. The system is developed based on the General Transient Simulator (GTS), which is a self-developed electromagnetic transient simulation tool. The key technologies of the simulation system, such as the high-performance automatic parallel computing technology and the large time step electromagnetic transient simulation technology, are introduced. The full electromagnetic transient simulation of the AC power system above 10kV in fujian power grid based on the dispatching control cloud platform is realized. Study cases are carried out and the validity and accuracy of the simulation are verified by comparing the actual fault recording data and simulation waveforms.
