One of the traditional ways for detecting dynamic communities is to find the communities at each interval through the static community detection ***,it usually leads to high computation *** this paper,a novel algorithm based on the Map Reduce model and the label propagation progress with the strategy of incremental related vertices is proposed,which is called PLPIRV(Parallel Label Propagation and Incremental Related Vertices).Based on the communities found at the previous interval,the new algorithm adjusts the communities the incremental related vertices belong *** clustering of the whole network can be avoided by incrementally analyzing the variation of the networks,so that the time cost can be greatly *** on artificial and real datasets show that the proposed algorithm performs well on dynamic community detection.

Insulator exposed to a wild environment for long-term running usually suffers from the damage of natural calamities that makes them become one of the most fragile components in the whole power system. In this case, even a slight fault will seriously affect the power supply safety of the power grid. Therefore, it is critical to find and identify the faulty insulator efficiently and accurately. However, an insulator is quite a small component in comparison with a huge power system which makes it hard to visible with naked eyes. This characteristic leads to poor recognition accuracy for existing detection methods. In order to solve the above problems, we propose an insulator defect detection algorithm based on an improved YOLOv4-tiny model. It differs from existing insulator detection models, our algorithm applies the effective channel attention network to the feature extraction network of YOLOv4-tiny, which significantly enhances the feature extraction ability of the backbone network. These two-way features of the pyramid can be fully fused in the two-way feature fusion stages seamlessly. Experimental results show that compared with, our proposed algorithm outperforms Faster RCNN and YOLOv3 in average classification accuracy, missed detection, and false detection. © 2022 IEEE.

Finding communities in networks is one of the challenging issues in complex network research. We have to deal with very large networks that contain billions of vertices, which makes community discovery a computationally intensive work. Moreover, communities usually overlap each other, which greatly increases the difficulty of identifying the boundaries of communities. In this paper, we propose a parallel multi-label propagation algorithm (PMLPA) that enhances traditional multi-label propagation algorithm (MLPA) in two ways. First, the critical steps of MLPA are parallelized based on the MapReduce model to get higher scalability. Second, new label updating strategy is used to automatically determine the most valuable labels of each vertex. Furthermore, we study the improvement of PMLPA through considering the influence of vertices and labels on label updating. In this way, the importance of each label can be described with higher precision. Experiments on artificial and real networks prove that the proposed algorithms can achieve both high discovering accuracy and high scalability. © 2017 World Scientific Publishing Company.

In this paper, we have proposed a novel time-frequency analysis method implementing adaptive variational mode decomposition (AVMD) and Wigner-Ville Distribution (WVD) to visualize the local features of ship radiated noise. Unlike the traditional methods are invalid under low signal to noise ratio (SNR), the proposed method is suitable for constructing time-frequency (TF) image with the capability of mining the local feature information accurately. Firstly, we employ complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise (CEEMDAN) on the raw signal to determine the numbers of variational modes which is equal to intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) numbers. Secondly, we perform VMD algorithm to extract the local features absolutely by decomposing the raw signal into IMFs, where we set the IMFs gained by CEEMDAN as the input parameter of VMD. Finally, we adopt Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) to draw TF signatures of all the IMFs, then superpose them to reconstruct the objected signal that can solve the cross-item problem. We have conducted the comparative experiments by the real oceanic data. Under the different SNRs, we have verified the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method, also obtained better performance in terms of resolution than compared algorithm. © 2020 IEEE.

Retinal vessel segmentation is important for the diagnosis of many diseases. The segmentation of microscopic vessels is one of the challenges because of the complex structure of retinal vessels, which makes it challenging to tell the vessels apart from the background. In order to improve the segmentation performance of retinal vessels, we use the edge detection method of HED to optimize the segmentation effect of UNet. Using Hybrid Dilated Convolution not only increases the perceptual field, but also avoids the loss of information continuity caused by the continuous use of dilated convolution. The Pyramid Pooling Module is used at the end of the encoder to compensate for the information loss caused by downsampling. Finally, the output of edge detection and image segmentation is combined as the final result. The model is evaluated in two mainstream datasets DRIVE and CHASE-DB1, and the experimental results show that the proposed model can improve the performance of retinal vessel segmentation. © 2022 IEEE.

In medicine, white blood cell (WBC) classification plays an important role in clinical diagnosis and treatment. Due to the similarity between classes and lack of training data, the precise classification of WBC is still challenging. To alleviate this problem, we propose an attention residual network for WBC image classification on the basis of data augmentation. Specifically, the attention residual network is composed of multiple attention residual blocks, an adaptive average pooling layer, and a full connection layer. The channel attention mechanism is introduced in each residual block to use the feature maps of WBC learned by a high layer to generate the attention map for a low layer. Each attention residual block also introduces depth separable convolution to extract the feature of WBC and decrease the training costs. The Wasserstein Generative adversarial network (WGAN) is used to create synthetic instances to enhance the size of training data. Experiments on two image datasets show the superiority of the proposed method over several state-of-the-art methods. © 2021 IEEE.

●AIM:To investigate a pioneering framework for the segmentation of meibomian glands(MGs),using limited annotations to reduce the workload on ophthalmologists and enhance the efficiency of clinical diagnosis.●METHODS:Totally 203 infrared meibomian images from 138 patients with dry eye disease,accompanied by corresponding annotations,were gathered for the study.A rectified scribble-supervised gland segmentation(RSSGS)model,incorporating temporal ensemble prediction,uncertainty estimation,and a transformation equivariance constraint,was introduced to address constraints imposed by limited supervision information inherent in scribble *** viability and efficacy of the proposed model were assessed based on accuracy,intersection over union(IoU),and dice coefficient.●RESULTS:Using manual labels as the gold standard,RSSGS demonstrated outcomes with an accuracy of 93.54%,a dice coefficient of 78.02%,and an IoU of 64.18%.Notably,these performance metrics exceed the current weakly supervised state-of-the-art methods by 0.76%,2.06%,and 2.69%,***,despite achieving a substantial 80%reduction in annotation costs,it only lags behind fully annotated methods by 0.72%,1.51%,and 2.04%.●CONCLUSION:An innovative automatic segmentation model is developed for MGs in infrared eyelid images,using scribble annotation for *** model maintains an exceptionally high level of segmentation accuracy while substantially reducing training *** holds substantial utility for calculating clinical parameters,thereby greatly enhancing the diagnostic efficiency of ophthalmologists in evaluating meibomian gland dysfunction.

Existing researches have proved that both academic reviews and library holdings can be alternative sources to assess impacts of academic books. This paper endeavors to identify correlations between the two sources, which may be useful for book ordering of libraries. Specifically, 69,263 academic reviews in Choice {Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries) are collected with four metrics: recommendation levels, readership levels, numbers of interdisciplinary subjects and review contents. Then, a topic model is used to extract topics from review contents. Meanwhile, library holdings of each book are identified, including the total number of library holdings, holding regions and holding distributions based on an entropy method. Finally, correlation analysis between Choice reviews and library holdings are conducted. Experimental results reveal that books with higher recommendation levels or extensive readerships tend to be ordered more by academic libraries. Meanwhile, books with extensive readerships will be collected more uniformly by academic libraries. In conclusion, metrics derived from Choice academic book reviews can be used as indicators to recommend book ordering of academic libraries.

Traditionally, researchers have focused on network level intrusion detection and program level intrusion detection to improve computer security. However, neither approach is foolproof. We argue that the internal and external security of a computer system are equally important. Typically, a successful attacker manifests in the form of the attacker becoming a user on the host either with elevated or normal user privileges. At this point, user-level intrusion detection attempts to deter and curtail an attacker even after the system has been compromised. In this work, we introduce a new approach of intrusion detection based on recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to solve the long sequential problem. We build a robust user command sequence-to-sequence model by semantic modeling command. Our model implements the prediction of user command sequence and the prophesying of user behaviors. The experimental results on data sets of Purdue University, SEA and self-collected data show that an accurate, effective and efficient detection can be achieved by using the proposed approach. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

With the development of information technology, virtual simulation technology has been widely used in various disciplines. The application of virtual simulation technology based on geographic information is also advancing in the development of the times. Geographical information system is an important information carrier of realistic simulation, and three-dimensional (3D) map visualization provides an important foundation platform for mining, surveying and other industry simulation. In this study, we simulated terrain of fujian province as an example, on the base of ASTER GDEM V2 data and using virtual simulation technology of geographical information. The results showed that: Compared with two-dimensional (2D) model map, 3D terrain model map has more expression of spatial geographical information. Comparing the MODIS model diagram with the partial model diagram of LC8, the overall effect of LC8 is better than that of the MODIS model diagram. The studies are intended to provide references for terrain simulation and development based on terrain simulation. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.
