The launch of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software on the market requires careful planning, which incorporates a requirements prioritization process. Although there are numerous prioritization techniques, few satisfy quality criteria such as scalability, efficiency and ease of use. This research presents a survey of COTS software requirements prioritization to be potentially used by thousands of users. The HCV (Hierarchical Cumulative Voting) requirements prioritization technique was addressed and appl.ed through a web questionnaire directly to potential users. At the end, 80 respondents sent the questionnaire and a score of requirements in ratio scale of measurement was obtained. It was found that the technique appl.ed can respond positively to the needs and characteristics of Market-Driven Software Development, in similar situations to those described.

This paper proposes a dynamic and decentralized model for coalitional skill games (CSG). The model calculates and exploits the reputation of individuals connected by a network, as an alternative to the usual CSG approaches that require reward analysis for every possible coalition to determine an optimal coalition structure for maximizing the total reward from the community. In this study, we restrict the search space for partnerships to the social neighborhoods of agents so that the social capital is used to reach a near-optimal solution by identifying how reputation can be used to better adapt the network, with the objective of bringing together agents who are more likely to cooperate in successful coalitions. In addition, our model allows a more precise quantifying of the relevance of the agents over time in social coalition formation. Experiments with different initial network topologies show that our approach is significantly better than static networks or structure-based adaptations whenever the initial network does not fit a high degree of interconnectedness, such as in a small-world model. In all the cases, the results are statistically better than current adaptation strategies.

Physical biometrics technologies are introduced to the login process on smart devices. However, many of them have several disadvantages: requirement of embedding special sensor, limited environment to use and copy of key inf.rmation for authentication. In this research, we proposed a new biometrics technique which can capture user's inimitable behavioral features in his/her spontaneous flick reactions on a touch-screen display for unlocking the device when it wakes up. For practical use of the technique, we adopted one-class classification approaches and they achieved about 1-2% EERs for 2500 samples from 50 subjects.
