Automation testing is essential to carry out functional testing quickly and precisely. Software testing is beneficial for testers doing many testing processes according to the existing scenarios. So, there is an urgency to explore a more advanced solution to replace the traditional approach. Silk Test Workbench is a tool for automation testing that can accelerate the functional testing of complex applications. For this research, we proposed automation testing on website applications with various testing scenarios that have been made. The visual test recording method is used for automation testing with Silk Test Workbench. Silk Test Workbench can speed up testing time, make a good test asset testing scenario, make it easier for users to do testing, and speed up the process to get the result in the form of a screen capture of the testing process. A comparison of testing time has been performed. The automatic testing time with the scenarios is 2 hours 46 minutes. The automatic testing time will be 2 hours 36 minutes using the all-in-one scenario. This study also used questionnaires from colleagues in the Quality Assurance field to get maximum User Acceptance Test results. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

Since cloud computing becoming the trend, the way servers being implemented slowly moves to the cloud. Companies did not need to buy a physical server machine to deploy an app. Having a private server on cloud infrastructure indeed already reduce some cost for on-premise server maintenance. However, there is still a cost for usage when the server is inactive or having low to no traffic at all. Serverless deployment offer function as a service where application is deployed as a function and cost is billed per function call. This paper proposed a solution where there are two deployment that works in turn between infrastructure as a service and function as a service deployment. This dual deployment offered the system to use the virtual private server or deployed instance on active hours, and switch to serverless functions on inactive hours. Switching to serverless on low traffic hours will cut the usage and cost of the microservice app by the least 25%, while having performance slightly comparable to microservice app deployed to instances. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. Simulation is an important technique to support military training. There are different training goals depending on the different ranks of the military personnel being trained, which are addressed by different types of simulation (live, virtual, or constructive). However, a trend in current military training is the combination of different types of simulation in an integrated setup. Observing such kind of blended simulation, the Brazilian Army is making efforts to develop integrated simulation solutions. This work describes the conception of an integrated simulation environment for the Brazilian Army Artillery called SIS-ASTROS. Besides integrating different types of simulators, SIS-ASTROS presents a virtual tactical simulator to train ASTROS artillery batteries deployment activities of mid-rank officers. This simulator addresses aspects that can be classified as constructive, but also virtual ones. Due to this particularity in its design, the conception of this simulator represents an innovative contribution. Moreover, its development demanded solutions in the area of artificial intelligence, computer graphics, and distributed systems applied to simulation problems. This paper presents the key components of the integrated simulation system, highlighting the main contributions in the research and development of the virtual tactical simulator. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

- An online learning system is a learning approach that typically uses a one fit for all approach in which all student abilities are considered the same so that the provision of learning materials provided is the same for all students. In contrast, a personalization learning system is a teaching and learning approach in which students are positioned as the learning centers and the students are motivated and facilitated to overcome their learning needs based on their learning speed and understanding of the learning process carried out to achieve. In the context of learning, learning materials and learning objectives are the main components that are interrelated in achieving the expected learning outcomes. However, the relationship between learning materials, especially in prerequisite courses, must have similarities so that the learning process can continue in accordance with the learning outcomes to be achieved. This paper presents an experiment results of the proposed the recommendation system modeling for personalization learning model implemented using Content-Based Collaborative Filtering model. In the proposed recommender system model, similarities between the learning materials and the description of the course being are computed as basis for developing recommended learning materials to students. The recommendation system modeling for personalized learning is applied as a solution to achieve learning goals and minimize dropouts due to the inability of students to understand the learning process in online learning systems. The results given in the research are modeling of an adaptive learning personalization recommendation system to provide recommendations for students who do not reach the minimum competency standards. © 2022 IEEE.

Neural style transfer is a technique to transfer a style of an artistic image to another photorealistic image. The early development of this technique is exploiting the intermediate output of a deep learning model and utilizing it to optimize a targeted image. However, this technique needs some time to finish the process. An approach called knowledge distillation is widely used to optimize deep learning models so the speed of the model can be increased. Commonly, this technique is applied in a supervised task by providing a soft label as a target label for the student model. In this paper, a method is proposed to enable knowledge distillation happened in style transfer tasks. It is found this method is effective enough to make the style transfer process faster and give good results. In this paper also some discussion has been elaborated regarding the condition that is adequate to produce a good student model for style transfer tasks using knowledge distillation. © 2022 IEEE.

A lot of research on task-oriented chatbots has been carried out to improve research on intent recognition. However, there are not many studies that discuss out-of-scope. This study introduces the use of threshold for classification results. The use of threshold improves recall performance of OOS detection above baseline for BiLSTM but reduces recall inside scope for all models. Directly applying multiclass classification with combined class of inside scope and out of scope also showed higher recall than baseline. © 2022 IEEE.

Currently, Indonesia and the whole world are being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on various fields of life. It affects all sectors, including the education sector. The government through the Ministry of Education and Culture makes a policy in education in terms of the learning process. Teaching and learning activities that were initially carried out face to face become distance learning which was carried out at home. In this study, a systematic literature review is conducted on automatic assessment of essay answers. Various previous studies discuss the essay answer scoring system that has been developed using various methods. We synthesize the results to enrich our understanding of the automated essay exam scoring system. The expected result of this research is that it can contribute to further research related to the automated essay exam scoring system, especially in terms of considering methods and dataset forms. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. With the large amount of information available on the internet, recommendation tasks have grown to be more crucial than ever. Businesses that store digital media on the internet such as video streaming and music streaming platforms, benefit a lot from recommendation systems. A simple yet powerful recommendation system that can give better recommendation performance is always being sought after. Light Graph Convolution Network (LightGCN) is a simplified version of Graph Convolution Network (GCN) for collaborative filtering in recommendation systems. LightGCN architecture includes only the most essential part of GCN for collaborative filtering that is the neighborhood aggregation, it removes the feature transformation and nonlinear activation because both of them contribute little to no effect to the recommendations. The focus of this research is to optimize LightGCN by tuning the hyperparameters using exhaustive search (grid search). The optimized LightGCN model is able to out-perform LightGCN by more than 140% in music recommendation © 2022 IEEE.

The rapid growth of digital payment platforms like OVO, ShopeePay, and GoPay in Indonesia has driven the need for businesses to optimize marketing strategies by analyzing customer interactions through social media. This study leverages Social Network Analysis (SNA) and Power BI to extract insights from Twitter data, offering a comprehensive view of how these platforms engage with consumers and shape brand perceptions. By applying sentiment analysis and classification using IndoBERT results, this study aims to identify key influencers, assess the sentiment around these brands, and visualize marketing communication patterns. The integration of SNA and BI tools provides a detailed, data-driven approach to improving business decision-making in the competitive digital payment market, by utilizing them to evaluate e-wallet tweet activity and user interactions in Indonesia and identifying key periods and regions for targeted marketing. Strategies like loyalty programs and segmented campaigns are recommended to enhance user engagement, address security concerns, and maximize market reach during culturally significant periods such as Eid and the holiday season. © 2024 IEEE.

The scenario of online learning is a very urgent need in the world of future knowledge. Since the Corona Virus Disease-19 pandemic, the world economy has started to plummet and caused many adults to lose their jobs. The advantage is the flexibility and rapid development of the internet. In 2020, the number of unemployed increased significantly. This reason makes people strive to improve their ability to meet job requirements by taking online courses. Online courses are a way that people can choose to improve their skills anywhere and anytime. The sustainability of online course material that is offered to the course user and issued by the company will be discussed in this study. The novelty of this research is to obtain a decision support model based on fuzzy logic for determining online courses. The method used is decision-making based on UML and fuzzy logic for the final decision. The fuzzy inference model process begins by determining the decision parameters then using fuzzification with absolute input then refracted with fuzzy criteria, and ends with defuzzification with absolute output. There are two groups of parameters in this study, company profits which consist of 5 parameters and user benefits, which consist of 9 parameters. Once the model is verified and valid, the final decision is useful for users looking for online course and also useful for the decision unit of online course companies in determining the sustainability of online course materials. © 2022 IEEE.
