Objective: The goal of this paper is to provide a consensus review on telehealth delivery prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic to develop a set of recommendations for designing telehealth services and tools that contribute to system resilience and equitable health. Methods: The IMIA-Telehealth Working Group (WG) members conducted a two-step approach to understand the role of telehealth in enabling global health equity. We first conducted a consensus review on the topic followed by a modified Delphi process to respond to four questions related to the role telehealth can play in developing a resilient and equitable health system. Results: Fifteen WG members from eight countries participated in the Delphi process to share their views. The experts agreed that while telehealth services before and during COVID-19 pandemic have enhanced the delivery of and access to healthcare services, they were also concerned that global telehealth delivery has not been equal for everyone. The group came to a consensus that health system concepts including technology, financing, access to medical supplies and equipment, and governance capacity can all impact the delivery of telehealth services. Conclusion: Telehealth played a significant role in delivering healthcare services during the pandemic. However, telehealth delivery has also led to unintended consequences (UICs) including inequity issues and an increase in the digital divide. Telehealth practitioners, professionals and system designers therefore need to purposely design for equity as part of achieving broader health system goals. © 2022 IMIA and Georg Thieme Verlag KG.

The present study investigated the potential anti-obesity properties of Citrus depressa Hayata (CDH) juice in HBV transgenic mice, as well as the impact of fermentation on the effectiveness of the juice. The results revealed that fermentation increased the levels of polyphenols and hesperidin in CDH juice. The animal study demonstrated that both juices were effective in mitigating the weight gain induced by a high-fat diet by correcting metabolic parameter imbalances, reducing hepatic lipid accumulation, and reversing hepatic immune suppression. Furthermore, fermented juice exhibited superior efficacy in managing body weight and inhibiting the expansion of white adipose tissue (WAT). Fermented juice significantly enhanced adiponectin production and PPARγ expression in WAT, while also reducing hypertrophy. This study offers valuable insights into the potential role of CDH juices in combating obesity associated with high fat consumption and underscores the promise of CDH juice as a functional beverage. © 2024 The Authors

Analysis of delay factors on drilling projects on PT China Oilfields Services Limited

In carrying out drilling projects at PT China Oilfields Services Limited ( COSL) Indo, especially Project 1 to Project 4, there were a mismatch between the initial plan of the project and the actualisation in the field because there were inhibiting factors in implementing the project. The purpose of the research was to look the factors that caused for the additional time in well drilling project at PT. COSL Indo, to build a relationship model of these factors, and formulate a strategy for the company to be able to overcome the occurrence of additional time in the future project. Data analysis was conducted by using a factor analysis method and the location of the research was carried out in just one company with 102 valid respondents. The results of the research indicate that there are four factors that influence the time gap, namely Project Management Activities, Risk Analysis and Procurement, Manage Stairs, and Project Planning Development. By knowing the causes of the delay, companies can find the best solutions for future learning and the impact on environmental, social and economic problems can also be anticipated so that sustainable development occurs in the context of petroleum management.

Fabrication of PDMS-Stabilized porous silver films derived from recovered silver sources as flexible conductive materials

This study presents a straightforward and efficient approach for the fabricating flexible conductive materials by integrating porous silver films onto a PDMS substrate. The process involves oxidative acetoxylation of silver into silver acetate (AcOAg) using ethyl acetate, followed by thermal decomposition to generate a porous silver structure on the PDMS suitable for flexible electronics. The impact of different silver sources including pure silver beads and recovered silver microstructures (irregular sphere and plate-like shape from spent button batteries) on acetoxylation process was investigated. Regardless of the initial silver morphology, rod-shaped silver acetate (RS-AcOAg) formed consistently, demonstrating the silver acetoxylation reaction independence from the silver source. Upon thermal decomposition, RS-AcOAg transformed into porous silver films, but uncontrolled sintering resulted in rigid structures that degraded electrical properties. To improve conductive activities, the introduction of PDMS as a surface stabilizing agent effectively suppressed sintering, preserving porous structure. Electrical characterization revealed that non-PDMS-coated silver strips exhibited high relative resistance change (Δ R / R 0 ) values with irreversible behavior due to internal cracking, whereas PDMS-coated porous silver films demonstrate lower Δ R/R 0 values with excellent reversibility under mechanical strain (stretching and bending). These findings confirm that PDMS-stabilized porous silver films offer a promising route for flexible conductive materials, with enhanced structural integrity and mechanical durability.

Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) are widely acknowledged to be of central importance to research universities worldwide. This article assesses the patent portfolio of Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), which is located in State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and currently consists of the largest Brazilian research university in terms of the total number of enrolled undergraduate students. More specifically, this study provides robust empirical evidence pointing out that a major university in a developing country is strengthening its patent portfolio by increasing the number of patent applications. In addition, it was also possible to observe that UFF's patent portfolio is dominated by emerging technologies addressing human necessities, such as medical, hygiene, or veterinary products. © 2019 Elsevier Inc.

Background and hypothesis: The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) consists of 30 items and takes up to 50 minutes to administer and score. Therefore, this study aimed to develop and validate a machine learning-based short form of the PANSS (PANSS-MLSF) that reproduces the PANSS scores. Moreover, the PANSS-MLSF estimated the removed-item scores. Study design: The PANSS-MLSF was developed using an artificial neural network, and the removed-item scores were estimated using the eXtreme Gradient Boosting classifier algorithm. The reliability of the PANSS-MLSF was examined using Cronbach's alpha. The concurrent validity was examined by the association (Pearson's r) between the PANSS-MLSF and the PANSS. The convergent validity was examined by the association (Pearson's r) between the PANSS-MLSF and the Clinical Global Impression-Severity, Mini-Mental State Examination, and Lawton Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Scale. The agreement of the estimated removed-item scores with their original scores was examined using Cohen's kappa. Study results: Our analysis included data from 573 patients with moderate severity. The two versions of the PANSS-MLSF comprised 15 items and 9 items were proposed. The PANSS-MLSF scores were similar to the PANSS scores (mean squared error=2.6–24.4 points). The reliability, concurrent validity, and convergent validity of the PANSS-MLSF were good. Moderate to good agreement between the estimated removed-item scores and the original item scores was found in 60% of the removed items. Conclusion: The PANSS-MLSF offers a viable way to reduce PANSS administration time, maintain score comparability, uphold reliability and validity, and even estimate scores for the removed items. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.

In the article is, do observation observation of patients with cases of heat stroke. This material and method Keyword 'Heat Stroke', 'handling patient heat stroke', 'Hypothermia', 'Injury Heart due to Heat Stroke' is used through a combination of 'OR' and 'AND' By conducting electronic searches on Google and Google Scholar and Pubmed. The search was carried out with a publication year limitation between January 2013 and October 2020. Results: 10 articles were collected and met the inclusion criteria. The literature review shows that, most of the research has been done in countries advanced, and is found in the article mentioned that the cases of heat stroke are still still high with cases penatalaksanan are different in each country.

In the real situations of supply chain, there are different parts such as facilities, logistics warehouses and retail stores and they handle common kinds of products. In this research, these situations are focused on as the background of this research. They deal with the common quantities of their products, but due to their different environments, the optimal production quantity of one part can be unacceptable to another part and it may suffer a heavy loss. To avoid that kind of unacceptable situations, the common production quantities should be acceptable to all parts in one supply chain. Therefore, the motivation of this research is the necessity of the method to find the production quantities that make all decision makers acceptable is needed. However, it is difficult to find the production quantities that make all decision makers acceptable. Moreover, their acceptable ranges do not always have common ranges. In the decision making of car design, there are similar situations to this type of decision making. The performance of a car consists of purposes such as fuel efficiency, size and so on. Improving one purpose makes another worse and the relationship between these purposes is tradeoff. In these cases, Suriawase process is applied. This process consists of negotiations and reviews of the requirements of the purposes. In the step of negotiations, the requirements of the purposes are share among all decision makers and the solution that makes them as satisfied as possible. In the step of reviews of the requirements, they are reviewed based on the result of the negotiation if the result is unacceptable to some of decision makers. Therefore, through the iterations of the two steps, the solution that makes all decision makers satisfied is obtained.
