The food supply chain at present is important to the human and there have a lot of transportation modes to distribute food from manufacturer to customer also business to business. The customers there need fresh food and the providers always find the best way in logistics that send their food to customers with the best quality and fresh, that is why the cold chain of logistics is popular and needs to improve more for the customers. However, there is no clear way to improve the performance and assessment of food logistics service, the aim of this study focused on service quality of food logistics and identify a set of service quality dimensions that developed from the SERVQUAL model for measuring their logistics process after that researcher prioritized the dimensions and sub-dimensions by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and finalize the local weight and global weight from AHP result. Finally, this research has shown the providers and the customers were prioritized for punctuality in food logistics service. It should be concern and improvement about punctuality in a food logistics service at the same time, the worst dimension of the provider's perspective is tangible and the customer perspective is empathy, that they did not pay attention it should be improved later.

The recent popularity of live streaming on social media has fascinated scholars' devotion. Though, prior studies have yet to satisfactorily elucidate how continuous watching intentions are enlightened regarding live streaming. This study aims to develop an asymmetrical framework for predicting consumers' watching intentions based on streamers' characteristics, such as beauty, humor, warmth, passion, and expertise. A total of 450 respondents who watched live streaming on TikTok participated in this study. This study attempts to examine propositions that specify models that predict high vs. low watching intentions based on the five streamers' characteristics using the fsQCA 3.0. The findings designate two configurations that signify both high vs. low watching intention. To achieve high watching intention, conditions of humor, warmth, passion, and expertise are required. Meanwhile, consumers will not continue to watch TikTok live streaming when the absence of beauty, humor, passion, and warmth is significant. This study signifies theoretical implication where a configurational model of live streaming watching intention based on streamers' characteristics was well-validated. At the same time, this study also provides marketers with practical guidelines on increasing watching intention using four configurations of streamers' characteristics.

Aims and Objectives: This study aims to analyse the trends in the incidence, prevalence and medical costs of pressure injuries (PIs) among genders in Taiwan. Background: The treatment of PIs is complex and costly, often leading to complications and increased mortality. This issue significantly impacts healthcare quality and incurs substantial medical and social costs, warranting attention. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted using data from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Database to obtain and calculate the incidence, prevalence, and medical costs of PIs in the country between 2001 and 2015 as well as to analyse high-risk groups and the medical care utilisation of patients following the STROBE reporting guidelines. Results: Between 2001 and 2015, 15,327 incident case of PIs were diagnosed. During the study period, the prevalence rate of PIs per 100,000 population rose from 26.3 to 189.6, with approximately 11.5%–16.3% of patients undergoing surgical debridement. The PIs prevalence rate increased by 7.2-fold, and hospitalisation costs accounted for 91.7%–96.0% of the total medical costs. Patients with older age, comorbidities, poorer financial status and lower education levels were found to be likely to develop PIs. These predisposing factors differed between males and females. The prevalence of PIs was higher in patients ≥75 years old than in patients from other age groups. Moreover, PI-related medical expenses have been increasing annually. Conclusions: In Taiwan, the rising incidence of PIs is driving up medical costs. Effective care and prevention of PIs necessitate a comprehensive plan from the entire healthcare system. Relevance to Clinical Practice: This research fills a gap in the available data on the incidence, prevalence, and medical costs of PIs in Taiwan and Asia. Patient or Public Contribution: The findings can be used to help develop clinical guidelines for preventive education and treatment of PIs. © 2024 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

Revisiting some overlooked registered Thai traditional medicine preparations: an alert to a regulatory affair

This study evaluated the heavy metal identity and content of registered Thai Traditional medicine (TTM) preparations in Thailand to ensure consumer safety. Both qualitative and quantitative information about the elemental composition of the heavy metal content in each TTM crude drug and the heavy metal content in some registered TTM preparations in Thailand was performed. Seven kinds of mineral-based TTM crude drugs, namely realgar, orpiment, Chinese powder, Sen, vermilion, natural vermilion, and cinnabar, were analyzed with X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy techniques to determine the type of metal and elemental composition to confirm their chemical formulas. Furthermore, the number of heavy metals, such as arsenic (As), lead (Pb), and mercury (Hg), was in three samples of realgar-containing preparations; one sample of Sen-containing preparation, and eight samples of cinnabar-containing preparations. Heavy metals were determined with inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry. It was observed that realgar and orpiment consisted of arsenic sulfide (AsS) and arsenic trisulfide (As2S3), respectively. Both crude drugs contained approximately 50% of As. Vermilion, natural vermilion, and cinnabar consisted of mercuric sulfide (HgS), with Hg accounting for approximately 66%. Sen consisted of Pb (II, IV) oxide (Pb3O4) with an approximate Pb percentage of 80%. However, Pb was absent in Chinese powder and consisted mainly of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). A traditional detoxification procedure can reduce the amount of As and Hg in processed crude drugs by at least 20%. Pb was higher in some TTM preparations, and no CaCO3 was detected in Chinese powder. Our results raise concerns on both safety and efficacy to consumers and alert public health policymakers that they should implement regulations so that the quality (authenticity) and quantity of elemental medicine used in traditional medicine are correctly labeled a

Background: The gut microbiota influences the gut–skin–kidney axis, but its role in uremic pruritus remains poorly understood. This study aimed to explore differences in gut microbial profiles between hemodialysis (HD) patients with and without uremic pruritus and identify potential microbial signatures associated with uremic pruritus. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study of HD patients with and without uremic pruritus. Stool samples were collected from all participants, and the gut microbiota composition was analyzed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Alpha and beta diversity metrics were calculated to assess microbial diversity. LEfSe analysis was performed to identify differentially abundant taxa associated with uremic pruritus. Results: Among 93 HD patients (mean age: 61.9 years, 31.2 % female), uremic pruritus occurred in 61.3 % of patients, with a median visual analog scale (VAS) score of 4.0. While alpha diversity did not differ significantly between groups, beta diversity analysis revealed significant compositional differences (unweighted UniFrac metric, P = 0.004;weighted UniFrac metric, P < 0.001). LEfSe analysis revealed significant enrichment of the order Pasteurellales, family Pasteurellaceae and genus Dialister in patients with uremic pruritus, whereas the order Corynebacteriales was more abundant in patients without pruritus (P < 0.05, LDA score > 3). Conclusion: In this study, we found significant differences in gut microbiota composition between HD patients with and without uremic pruritus and identified potential microbial biomarkers for uremic pruritus. Further studies are needed to elucidate the underlying mechanisms and explore microbiota-targeted therapeutic interventions. © 2025

The positive relationship between unique resources and sustainable competitiveness of the company has been well understood and applies to almost all businesses. However, little is known about the specific effects of the uniqueness of resources and business strategies in this relationship. Using resource-based view (RBV), Porter's five-factor theory, and game theory, as well as imitation theory between companies, this study explains how the influence of company-specific resources and the uniqueness of the company's strategy as a sustainable competitive advantage affect performance. Analysis of data collected from surveys on 101 mining companies in Indonesia shows companies with distinctive resources are able to produce unique business strategies and insofar as they cannot be replicated, companies can enjoy sustainable competitive advantage. This implies that mining companies need to avoid their resources and business strategies to be imitated by their competitors if the company still wants to maintain competitive advantage and performance. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Project is an activity or business that is temporary and has a certain period of time, unique and produces a product, service or both. Achieving project activity right on the schedule was an important thing for project owners or contractors. However, the schedule of the "X2"Well Drilling Project has delayed from the original plan due to several inhibiting factors. Therefore, the cost's project increased during project implementation. The factor analysis method is used to reduce the number of independent variables until new variables are found which are then examined for their relationship and a mathematical model is built using the regression analysis method. The location of this research was one company with 100 valid respondents. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 (three) new factors that have a positive effect and 1 (one) new factors that have a negative effect on the condition of the differences that occur. If a project can be completed before the work period ends, at other times if the owner wants to build a construction project again, there is no doubt that the owner will re-choose Oil Service Company to work on another Drilling Project. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Interorganizational relationships are vital for innovation and competitive advantage. However, research has primarily focused on high-tech and biopharmaceutical sectors, leaving a gap in understanding their impact on traditional manufacturing industries, which is crucial for a nation's economic development. The current academic discourse lacks a comprehensive understanding of how traditional manufacturing firms strategically configure alliance portfolios to foster innovation over longer time horizons. To address this gap, this study investigates international alliance partnerships in the Japan-Taiwan context, emphasizing external resources and inter-firm linkages as competitive advantage sources. It examines resource management and alliance portfolio configuration within traditional industries, specifically Japanese-Taiwanese alliances in China's automotive and machine tool manufacturing sectors. Findings shed light on the intricate nature of alliance portfolio configuration in traditional manufacturing, involving careful partner selection and resource adjustment through exploitation and exploration. The research offers valuable insights into dynamic alliance development and factors influencing innovation. It presents three propositions and identifies trust, equity commitment, firm capabilities, proactiveness, alliance resource redundancy, and domain segmentation as driving factors. This study contributes to theoretical and empirical knowledge, examining research implications while acknowledging limitations. Future research directions should address these limitations and examine further avenues, deepening our understanding of the complexities involved in driving innovation through interorganizational relationships in industries that lay the foundations for economic growth.

The Strategic Variance Analysis of LAN and TAM airlines merger in the early 2010’s

LAN and TAM used to be the flag carriers of Chile and Brazil, respectively until late 2000’s in the airline industry. The merger of both into LATAM Airlines was part of the strategy to construct a major regional power of air transportation, an evolution from national companies to a Latin America brand. This research analyzes the merger of LAN and TAM, which in the second decade of 21st Century formed one of the largest passenger air transportation groups. The concept of Strategic Variance Analysis (SVA) is used in some academic environments to evaluate a company’s operational revenue in two time periods, in this specific case, 2010-2013. The concept is easy to understand and relates the financial statements with businesses strategies approaches. Previous studies in the American airline industry have been conducted with SVA method. This paper compares the financial situation of former TAM before the merger (2010), and LATAM (2013), after the merger. The financial, operational, and fuel data are gathered from the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil, reclassified, and applied to calculate SVA. Then, as the final conclusion, SVA demonstrates that this merger was good, however it was insufficient to cover the rise in fuel prices during those years.
