作者： FEIN, N. FREIBERGER, A. NORMAN FEIN received his B.S. degree in Physics at C.C.N.Y. and is now enrolled in their graduate Physics program. He was with Hudson Laboratories of Columbia University from 1962 to 1964 where he conducted basic research in oceanography specifically in the propagation of sound in the sea. In 1964 he joined the staff of the U. S. Naval Applied Science Laboratory as a physicist in the laboratory's program on naval cold weather problems. He is investigating the formation of ice on surfaces. ARNOLD FREIBERGER received his Degree in Chemical Engineering at the City College of New York. Employed as a Materials Engineer at the U. S. Naval Applied Science Laboratory since 1952 he is the Task Leader of the Laboratory's program on naval cold weather problems and has done fundamental and applied research on ice adhesion and ice release coatings. Since 1962 he has been in charge of the Laboratory's marine fouling research program and more recently has assumed leadership of the hydrofoil materials research program.
