Mockup is a scale or full-sized model that used for demonstrating and evaluating the functionality of a design. It is only in-plemented in a large project that having similar room patterns to reduce the risk of poor design. This research is to identify the corelationship between the number of rooms (or the project size) and the mockup investment cost to find the decision-making point. The research methodology is to build the perspective picture of VIP in-patient rooms as the Stimuli approach and build the same realistic full-sized rooms as the mockup then applying the systematic research implication to learn and synthesize the results to investigate the functionalities, environmental perceptions and cost-benefits ratio in order to evaluate the corelationship between the cost effectiveness and the estimated optimum number of rooms. In addition, data collection from the same hospital staffs, patients, and other service receivers will be conducted by questionnaire survey and close observation. The data will be complied vis-à-vis the results from mockup and stimuli methods to establish the decision-making baseline.

The WAGB-20 is a U. S. Coast Guard polar icebreaker with an integrated diesel-electric propulsion system. Power is generated by four main diesel engines driving AC generators. Two main 15,000-HP AC synchronous propulsion motors are directly coupled to the port and starboard propellers. Two cycloconverters provide variable-voltage, variable-frequency power for controlling each propulsion motor. The simulation of the electric propulsion system is being developed to analyze the steady-state and transient performance of the system during open water and icebreaking operations. The objectives of the analysis are to support propulsion plant design, aid in the integration of system components, develop control system algorithms, predict system performance, and determine the requirements for dynamic braking resistors. The analysis consists of mathematical models for the ship, shaft systems, propellers, AC synchronous propulsion motors, motor controllers, cycloconverters, generators, generator exciters, voltage regulators, diesel engines, and engine governors. These models are based on actual machinery data. The WAGB-20 specification requires the propulsion system to have the capability of going from full power ahead to full power astern in open water in 25 seconds or less. This paper presents the simulation results which show that by controlling the regenerative power the crash astern maneuver can be performed to meet this requirement without the need for dynamic braking resistors.

Service identities are crucial for authentication and access control, ensuring that only authorized services access specific resources. The SPIFFE framework addresses workload identity management and authentication effectively but needs support for solutions (e.g., extensible tokens) that fine-granular authorization mechanisms in distributed scenarios can use. In this context, we present the Lightweight SVID (LSVID), an identity document in JSON format that can be extended and used as a token. As an extensible token, Lightweight SVID (LSVID) enables features such as delegation, attenuation, and traceability, enhancing its flexibility and applicability. Our approach provides efficient handling of token extensions and validations, demonstrated through a proof-of-concept implemented in Go. Baseline results indicate that LSVID critical operations are efficient, with processing times in the microsecond range, offering significant functional advantages over the traditional JWT-SVIDs, one of two key security documents from SPIFFE.

This article deals with the usage of building bricks as a didactic material for the development of architectural design. The building brick game chosen for analysis was the Arckit, since it is suitable for the architectural practice. It is estimated that this game can contribute to the design, representation and presentation of projects. In order to investigate in which aspects Arckit presents possibilities of applications, as well as limitations of use, the article approaches the importance of building bricks as a didactic tool and its use in the field of the architectural design process. From a literature review and an empirical experience, this article reports a qualitative research, where the applicability of the Arckit game was checked. Through a critical reflection based on that experience, it was possible to conclude that whereas its limitations to urban form and linked to the formal vocabulary that composes the grammar of these bricks, the Arckit building bricks represent in architecture a playful and experimental way to think and design, fomenting the creativity and the spatial perception, resulting in a particular experience that can make architecture better connected with dreams and joy.

Dear Editor,
RNA-directed DNA methylation (RdDM) is a mechanism for achieving sequence-specific de novo DNA ***1 encodes a DNA glycosylase/lyase,which demethylates DNA (Gong et al.,2002).ros1 causes the transcriptional gene silencing (TGS) of the LUCtransgene driven by the stress-responsive RD29A promoter and endogenous RD29A (Gong et al.,2002).From our previous screening for second-site suppressors of ros1,NRPD4 and RDM4,first as RdDM components, were identified (He et al.,2009a,2009b).To discover new regulators of the RdDM pathway,we conducted an efficient genetic screen in this study and found a novel RdDM component:AtRRP6L1.
