Evaluation of cryptocurrency's performance is performed questionably. There is no role for computer-model, make such an evaluation process does not have guidance. In this study, a simple decision support model (DSM) based on fuzzy logic was academically constructed to observe the cryptocurrency's performance. By operating the primary method of fuzzy logic and taking into account three types of parameters (i.e. time-series close price data, daily max-min price, and transaction number), a novel DSM for evaluating the cryptocurrency's performance was fruitfully executed. Based on three types of real cryptocurrency six-month data (i.e. Bitcoin Ethereum, and Dogecoin), the model could irreversibly expose that Bitcoin has the best performance with 36.39 performance points. © 2022 IEEE.

Since cloud computing becoming the trend, the way servers being implemented slowly moves to the cloud. Companies did not need to buy a physical server machine to deploy an app. Having a private server on cloud infrastructure indeed already reduce some cost for on-premise server maintenance. However, there is still a cost for usage when the server is inactive or having low to no traffic at all. Serverless deployment offer function as a service where application is deployed as a function and cost is billed per function call. This paper proposed a solution where there are two deployment that works in turn between infrastructure as a service and function as a service deployment. This dual deployment offered the system to use the virtual private server or deployed instance on active hours, and switch to serverless functions on inactive hours. Switching to serverless on low traffic hours will cut the usage and cost of the microservice app by the least 25%, while having performance slightly comparable to microservice app deployed to instances. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. Supplier evaluation has a crucial role in maintaining efficiency in the food industry supply chain. Machine learning approaches can be employed to formulate models aimed at analyzing and evaluating supplier performance. Previous research has successfully designed decision tree and neural network models for assessing suppliers in the food industry with accuracies of 84.2% and 92.8% separately. Recognizing the opportunity to improve the model's performance, this study aims to advancing the machine learning models accuracy for analyzing and evaluating suppliers in the food industry. Two main models are proposed to enhance model accuracy: ensemble methods and support vector machine. This research has successfully designed a supplier evaluation model and demonstrated that the ensemble method - gradient boosting model outperforms other ensemble methods and support vector machine which is achieved a accuracy of 93.6% on a cross-validation dataset. The development of a dashboard is required to implement the supplier evaluation model using machine learning, facilitating decision-makers in evaluating and controlling supplier performance. © 2023 The Authors. A lot of research on task-oriented chatbots has been carried out to improve research on intent recognition. However, there are not many studies that discuss out-of-scope. This study introduces the use of threshold for classification results. The use of threshold improves recall performance of OOS detection above baseline for BiLSTM but reduces recall inside scope for all models. Directly applying multiclass classification with combined class of inside scope and out of scope also showed higher recall than baseline. © 2022 IEEE.

- An online learning system is a learning approach that typically uses a one fit for all approach in which all student abilities are considered the same so that the provision of learning materials provided is the same for all students. In contrast, a personalization learning system is a teaching and learning approach in which students are positioned as the learning centers and the students are motivated and facilitated to overcome their learning needs based on their learning speed and understanding of the learning process carried out to achieve. In the context of learning, learning materials and learning objectives are the main components that are interrelated in achieving the expected learning outcomes. However, the relationship between learning materials, especially in prerequisite courses, must have similarities so that the learning process can continue in accordance with the learning outcomes to be achieved. This paper presents an experiment results of the proposed the recommendation system modeling for personalization learning model implemented using Content-Based Collaborative Filtering model. In the proposed recommender system model, similarities between the learning materials and the description of the course being are computed as basis for developing recommended learning materials to students. The recommendation system modeling for personalized learning is applied as a solution to achieve learning goals and minimize dropouts due to the inability of students to understand the learning process in online learning systems. The results given in the research are modeling of an adaptive learning personalization recommendation system to provide recommendations for students who do not reach the minimum competency standards. © 2022 IEEE.

With the large amount of information available on the internet, recommendation tasks have grown to be more crucial than ever. Businesses that store digital media on the internet such as video streaming and music streaming platforms, benefit a lot from recommendation systems. A simple yet powerful recommendation system that can give better recommendation performance is always being sought after. Light Graph Convolution Network (LightGCN) is a simplified version of Graph Convolution Network (GCN) for collaborative filtering in recommendation systems. LightGCN architecture includes only the most essential part of GCN for collaborative filtering that is the neighborhood aggregation, it removes the feature transformation and nonlinear activation because both of them contribute little to no effect to the recommendations. The focus of this research is to optimize LightGCN by tuning the hyperparameters using exhaustive search (grid search). The optimized LightGCN model is able to out-perform LightGCN by more than 140% in music recommendation © 2022 IEEE.

Neural style transfer is a technique to transfer a style of an artistic image to another photorealistic image. The early development of this technique is exploiting the intermediate output of a deep learning model and utilizing it to optimize a targeted image. However, this technique needs some time to finish the process. An approach called knowledge distillation is widely used to optimize deep learning models so the speed of the model can be increased. Commonly, this technique is applied in a supervised task by providing a soft label as a target label for the student model. In this paper, a method is proposed to enable knowledge distillation happened in style transfer tasks. It is found this method is effective enough to make the style transfer process faster and give good results. In this paper also some discussion has been elaborated regarding the condition that is adequate to produce a good student model for style transfer tasks using knowledge distillation. © 2022 IEEE.

Currently, Indonesia and the whole world are being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on various fields of life. It affects all sectors, including the education sector. The government through the Ministry of Education and Culture makes a policy in education in terms of the learning process. Teaching and learning activities that were initially carried out face to face become distance learning which was carried out at home. In this study, a systematic literature review is conducted on automatic assessment of essay answers. Various previous studies discuss the essay answer scoring system that has been developed using various methods. We synthesize the results to enrich our understanding of the automated essay exam scoring system. The expected result of this research is that it can contribute to further research related to the automated essay exam scoring system, especially in terms of considering methods and dataset forms. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. The scenario of online learning is a very urgent need in the world of future knowledge. Since the Corona Virus Disease-19 pandemic, the world economy has started to plummet and caused many adults to lose their jobs. The advantage is the flexibility and rapid development of the internet. In 2020, the number of unemployed increased significantly. This reason makes people strive to improve their ability to meet job requirements by taking online courses. Online courses are a way that people can choose to improve their skills anywhere and anytime. The sustainability of online course material that is offered to the course user and issued by the company will be discussed in this study. The novelty of this research is to obtain a decision support model based on fuzzy logic for determining online courses. The method used is decision-making based on UML and fuzzy logic for the final decision. The fuzzy inference model process begins by determining the decision parameters then using fuzzification with absolute input then refracted with fuzzy criteria, and ends with defuzzification with absolute output. There are two groups of parameters in this study, company profits which consist of 5 parameters and user benefits, which consist of 9 parameters. Once the model is verified and valid, the final decision is useful for users looking for online course and also useful for the decision unit of online course companies in determining the sustainability of online course materials. © 2022 IEEE.

Electrodermal activity (EDA) is a general term for all electrical phenomena occurring on the skin, both passive and active. EDA measurements are used by researchers to measure levels of stress, emotion, mental strain, and so on. Measuring human stress levels, emotions, and mental strain are generally associated with the skin conductance response. The function GSR sensor is not only used to read people's psychology but also can be used as a pain sensor used to read the degree of pain in the skin. This pilot study uses sample data from ***. The *** data is galvanic skin response sensor data. The output of this sensor is the conductivity value that occurs in the skin. The data obtained from *** will be extracted using the mean, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, RMS, skewness, and peak-to-peak characteristics. The extracted functions are selected using the forward selection method. The results of the feature selection are three features with an accuracy percentage greater than 50%, namely the mean feature, the RMS feature, and the skewness feature. The machine learning models used are bagged tree, SVM, and K-NN models. Of the three models used, the bagged tree model has the highest accuracy rate, at 98.05%, with an F1 score is 0.9807. The KNN model with k=10 has the lowest level of accuracy compared to other models, at 96.75%. © 2023 IEEE.
