Congestion in Jakarta is a chronic problem and is still being sought. The growing city of Jakarta is facing various international events, increasing the complexity of these congestion problems. This research is aimed to propose an alternative solution for congestion problem in Jakarta using Cased-Based Reasoning (CBR) approach on Pejompongan area. The CBR integrated model analyzes congestion at a given point in a particular hour to identify the same case. The Cased-Based Management (CBM) algorithm approach is used to capture transient problems and ultimately reduce case base cases for their contribution to long-term maintenance. Congestion data is obtained from CCTV cameras via website *** in some strategic areas. With that data, we use CBR's integrated model to adjust traffic time for traffic flow to be optimized so that congestion will decompose. The results of this study can be used by relevant government agencies and policymakers in Jakarta to formulate the best solution to solve the congestion problem in the Indonesian capital. Image analysis at nights and bad weather conditions become a limitation and also the integration with traffic lights control in this paper that can be a new topic for further research. © 2018 IEEE.

In this work we address the automatic music genre classification as a pattern recognition task. The content of the music pieces were handled in the visual domain, using spectrograms created from the audio signal. This kind of image has been successfully used in this task since 2011 by extracting handcrafted features based on texture, since it is the main visual attribute found in spectrograms. In this work, the patterns were described by representation learning obtained with the use of convolutional neural network (CNN). CNN is a deep learning architecture and it has been widely used in the pattern recognition literature. Overfitting is a recurrent problem when a classification task is addressed by using CNN, it may occur due to the lack of training samples and/or due to the high dimensionality of the space. To increase the generalization capability we propose to explore data augmentation techniques. In this work, we have carefully selected strategies of data augmentation that are suitable for this kind of application, which are: adding noise, pitch shifting, loudness variation and time stretching. Experiments were conducted on the Latin Music Database (LMD), and the best obtained accuracy overcame the state of the art considering approaches based only in CNN.

The transfer of land has an impact on the decreasing of the agricultural land area, so it is necessary to plan the right cropping pattern as an effort to increase the productivity of agricultural cultivation. Also, Climate is one of the factors influencing the determination of cropping pattern in a region. Analysis of climatic characteristics in the determination of cropping pattern not only based on oldeman climatic classification. At the same time, the study of groundwater availability for plants and climogram of climatic elements is needed in determining planting schedule which is suitable for planting and determination of irrigation water supply, either the right amount of time. This study aims to identify and build spatial of the oldeman climate classification. It also determines the cropping pattern for seasonal crops based on the calculation of water balance and climogram (rainfall and air temperature) in each type of climate oldeman district of Cirebon and surrounding areas. Data used monthly rainfall data period 1981-2010 from BMKG Jatiwangi station and air temperature data, plant coefficient and the base map of Cirebon region. The analysis method includes classification of Oldeman climate type, spatial data processing, water balance calculation by Thorntwaite & Matter method and making climogram (rainfall and temperature) with: k = p0 + p1/FC;p0 = 1.000412351;p1 = -1.073807306 and determination of planting pattern of each type of oldeman. © 2018 Institute of Physics Publishing. We generated pulses of electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz (THz) frequency range by optical excitation of Co2Fe0.4Mn0.6Si (CFMS)/normal-metal (NM) bilayer structures. The CFMS is a Heusler alloy showing a band gap in one spin channel and is therefore a half metal. We compared the THz emission efficiency in a systematic manner for four different CFMS/NM bilayers, where NM was either Pt, Ta, Cr, or Al. Our measurements show that the THz intensity is highest for a Pt capping. We also demonstrate the tunability of the THz amplitude by varying the magnetic field for all four bilayers. We attribute the THz generation to the inverse spin Hall effect. In order to investigate the role of the interface in THz generation, we measured the spin mixing conductance for each CFMS/NM bilayer using a ferromagnetic resonance method. We found that the spin-orbit coupling cannot completely describe the THz generation in the bilayers and that the spin transmission efficiency of the CFMS/NM interface and the spin diffusion length, as well as the oxidation of the NM layer, play crucial roles in the THz emission process.

This article aims to proposed framework an Intelligent Recommender System (IRS) for students in higher education institutions. This conceptual framework includes problems in predicting student performance, the possibility of graduating on time, and recommends choosing subjects according to performance, and career interests, which are useful for assisting pedagogical interventions in future student development. The success in the development and implementation of the proposed IRS framework is inseparable from using data mining and machine learning techniques in predicting and providing recommendations. Data analysis consisted of clustering techniques, association rules, and classification using Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes, and k-Nearest Neighbour (k-NN). These techniques are used to solve problems related to students and to provide appropriate recommendations. The result is an IRS conceptual framework for the college student that can be used as smart agents to provide student guidance and suggestions to support the process of education in higher education.

There are several ways to deal with security issues of confidential data sent via the internet, including using cryptographic techniques and steganography. Steganography is the science and art of concealing information / messages in a media in such a way that its existence is not detected by other parties who are not entitled to the information. Instead, cryptography disguises the meaning of a message, but does not hide that there is a message because the file looks suspicious. The Steganography technique used here was End Of File (EOF). The EOF technique described how to add data or files at the end of the image file. For this technique, the size of data or files that will be hidden could be larger than the size of the image file. The hidden data will be inserted at the end of the file so that it will not affect the image. This steganography application is also equipped with a cryptographic function Data Encryption Standard (DES) at the time of insertion of data that functions as a generator code and encrypts data, so that the security of a data in the file is more protected and protected from those who are not entitled to know the data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The learners' needs are an important factor in designing syllabus and materials design, this research deals with the syllabus and material design based on the professional's needs. It is expected that the syllabus and materials designes are communicatively applicable to the professional academy. Descriptive method is applied in this research. The sample of this research is 30 students of ATII Immanuel Academy Medan. They were selected by random sampling to get the data, the questioners were administered to students. the questioners consisted of 54 items and the semi structured interview consisted of 5 questions, the finding indicated that learners' needs were focused on reading and speaking skills. With reference appropriately and proportionally derived for students of the Professional Academy. Further on the basis of the syllabus, materials are designed in which the skills of using language become a priority. Insurance company are certainly has a rich of data from their business process. One of the data is related to business process sales. From this sales data can be used to analyze the condition of a company whether the condition of the company is in a good condition or not. The purpose of this research is to develop a technique to analyze this data from the company. The method used to implement the data analysis in this paper is to design a data warehouse. Use ninestep methodology as the method for design data warehouse and Pentaho as a tool for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), OLAP analysis and reporting data, the results of this research concluded that the implementation of data warehouse for perform data analysis and reporting better and more effective.

We report on the discovery and spectroscopic confirmation of TOI-2458 b, a transiting mini-Neptune around an F-type star leaving the mainsequence with a mass of M*= 1.05 ± 0.03Mo, a radius of R*= 1.31 ± 0.03 Ro, an effective temperature of Teff = 6005 ± 50 K, and a metallicity of -0.10 ± 0.05 dex. By combining TESS photometry with high-resolution spectra acquired with the HARPS spectrograph, we found that the transiting planet has an orbital period of ∼3.74 days, a mass of Mp = 13.31±0.99M⊕ and a radius of Rp = 2.83±0.20 R⊕. The host star TOI-2458 shows a short activity cycle of ∼54 days revealed in the HARPS S-index and Hα times series. We took the opportunity to investigate other F stars showing activity cycle periods comparable to that of TOI-2458 and found that they have shorter rotation periods than would be expected based on the gyrochronology predictions. In addition, we determined TOI-2458's stellar inclination angle to be i*= 10.6+13.3 -10.6 degrees. We discuss that both phenomena (fast stellar rotation and planet orbit inclination) could be explained by in situ formation of a hot Jupiter interior to TOI-2458 b. It is plausible that this hot Jupiter was recently engulfed by the star. Analysis of HARPS spectra has identified the presence of another planet with a period of P = 16.55 ± 0.06 days and a minimum mass of Mp sin i = 10.22 ± 1.90M⊕. Using dynamical stability analysis, we constrained the mass of this planet to the range Mc (10, 25)M⊕. © 2024, CC BY.

This paper purposes comparing the view of system builder (expert system) using analitycal hierarchy process (AHP) and view of user (students) using regression method in elearning system STIKes-STMIK Hang Tuah Pekanbaru. This study uses some attributes to analyze and evaluate which affect the acceptance of elearning system success. In AHP, the attributes are categorized as criteria and grouped into some dimensions. These criteria and dimenssions are evaluated by some experts using analitycal hierarchy process (AHP) to assess priorities for elearning system. There are four dimensions, system quality (four criteria), learning information quality (three criteria), service quality (three criteria) and service support (three criteria) dimension. This system is also evaluated by filling out the questionnaire by students as user of elearning system using regression method. The attributes are used as independent variable, while the succesfull of elearning is dependent variable. The result of using AHP and regression system has a different. It also can show there are different view between users and system builder which should be considered by STIKes-STMIK Hang Tuah Pekanbaru.
