The measurement of information security risk in a public sector organization is of utmost importance. This measurement serves the purpose of taking appropriate actions in response to potential risks or damaging incidents. The objective of this study is to develop a straightforward yet smart decision model capable of evaluating risks, particularly within the public sector organization. The decision support modelling (DSM) concept is employed as a framework to construct a computer model that supports decision-making in a specific case. The study comprises five stages, which are integral parts of the DSM process. These stages include analyzing the case, examining relevant documents, designing the model, constructing the model, and evaluating the finalized model. The object-oriented method serves as a fundamental approach to model design. Additionally, the fuzzy logic method, an intelligent computational technique, plays a central role in the development of this decision model. The proposed model demonstrates an average error value of 0.05 when compared to the actual risk measurement conducted. Furthermore, it reveals average risk values of 0.59 and 0.45 for the pre-and post-remediation scenarios, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Containerization has become a popular approach in application development in applications development and deployment, many benefits we can get such as improved scalability, portability, and resource efficiency. Container-based applications, utilizing technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, have transformed the packaging, deployment, and management of software from the desktop environment to the cloud platform. In this context, software metrics approach plays a good role in evaluating the characteristics and performance of container-based applications, ensuring that developers and operators are on the same page. This article explores the importance of software metrics in optimizing the software lifecycle of container-based applications, addressing the unique challenges they present, and highlighting the potential benefits of leveraging metrics to improve performance and efficiency. Our finding Performance Metrics and Availability Metrics is the most metrics that the most measure by applications owner, relevant studies and industry practices, this study aims to provide insights and recommendations to effectively measure and optimize region-based software systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The insurance industry faces a significant challenge concerning insurance claims, particularly due to the prevalence of fraudulent insurance claims. To address this issue, one potential solution is the implementation of a computer-based decision model. This research presents a fuzzy decision model based on object-oriented method development. The study involves seven stages (i.e. case analyzing, parameter analyzing, objects-parameters linking, detail object relation constructing, parameter exchange analyzing, OOFDM constructing, and model verifying and validating), with an object-oriented approach serving as the foundational method for constructing the model, and fuzzy logic as the primary method for assessing claim risks in proposing the best decision. The model has the capability to simulate insurance claims and offers objective decisions based on 19,611 claims data, categorizing them into two decision categories: acceptance and pending. © 2023 IEEE.

Recent advances in distribution networks, driven by the integration of renewable energy sources, have spurred the emergence of microgrids, elevating concerns regarded reliability and stability. In this context, precise monitoring of events, particularly those elusive to detection like high-impedance faults (HIFs), becomes imperative. The development of phasor measurement units (PMUs) with their harmonic synchronized measurements has enhanced the monitoring task and fostering the application of synchrophasors even on microgrids. This work introduces a novel method for event classification in microgrids, utilizing combined low-rate PMU data and harmonic synchrophasor time series. Central to our approach is the usage of a state-of-the-art transformer neural network, based on the attention mechanism, to effectively discern HIFs from other faulty and non-fault events. Notably, this methodology accounts for prevalent PMU data quality issues, including noise, missing data, and synchronism errors. Results from real-world HIF data demonstrate a robust performance, with an accuracy rate of approximately 98% in event classification. This harmonic synchrophasor-based strategy showcases promise as an original approach for handling commercial PMU data, offering sufficient robustness for deployment in real-world applications. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is useful for converting speech into text. ASR is needed to display automatic subtitles on movies or when conducting video conferencing. The use of deep learning in ASR applications is currently still dominated by Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). Several previous studies used the Transformer deep learning model in building the ASR model. The accuracy results obtained are better than the LSTM or RNN models. However, ASR research using the Transformer model is still very limited. This paper will discuss the use of the Transformer model for ASR in Indonesian. The dataset used is the Indonesian language private speech dataset. The experimental results show that the Word Error Rate (WER) and Character Error Rate (CER) produced by the proposed model using the Indonesian language primary dataset are almost the same as using the English language public dataset where the resulting WER and CER are 27.34 and 7.96 for Indonesian and 25.28 and 6.02 for English. © 2023 IEEE.

Real-world practical systems inherently exhibit non-linearities in their dynamics. Also, it is known that a time-varying delay exists in the system state or input-output. Combined, it affects the stability of the closed-loop system. It also increases the complexity of the controller design. In-depth controller design research on the class of Nonlinear Systems with Time-Varying Delay (NSTVD) has been the focus of the control community for many years. However, there is a lack of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and classifications of the papers on this topic. This paper aims to review controller design utilizing a neural network model for the class of NSTVD systems. The study employs Kitchenham's SLR method to gather, analyze and synthesize published papers from reliable databases between 2017 and 2021. The bibliometric analysis for the selected 38 papers reveals the prolific authors, countries, affiliations, publishers, co-authorship network, co-occurrences of keywords, and ten most-cited papers. Finally, this paper developed a conceptual map outlining six multi-layered findings: the addressed problem, control design method, nonlinear system properties, time-varying delay properties, system constraint properties, and actuator limit properties. A brief qualitative analysis of the ten most-cited papers is performed based on the map. The findings highlighted that the proposed methods have shown encouraging results in the simulation domain and can be used as a source of inspiration for future studies and implementation of the neural controller design of the NSTVD system. © 2023 IEEE.

There is still a severe malaria problem worldwide, particularly in regions with limited access to diagnostic tools. It is crucial to develop a system for detecting malaria in blood cells. This paper presents a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and as a classifier, we use a Support Vector Machine (SVM) framework for the automated detection of malaria parasites in blood cell images. The proposed system leverages the strengths of CNNs in feature extraction and representation learning from images, combined with the discriminative power of SVMs for classification. Initially, CNN extracts intricate features from blood cell images, capturing essential patterns indicative of malaria infection. Subsequently, the extracted features are used to train an SVM classifier, enabling accurate discrimination between parasitized and uninfected blood cells. Experimental dataset evaluations were obtained from the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications website of the National Library of Medicine. The proposed model achieves a better f1-score, outperforming individual CNN or SVM models, around 0.015 compared to individual CNN models and 0.27 compared to individual SVM models. This hybrid CNN-SVM methodology offers a promising solution for accurately and efficiently detecting malaria parasites in blood cell images. © 2024 IEEE.

Enzymes are biocatalysts with vital roles in biological functions and many industrial applications. Diverse enzymes are classified using Enzyme Commission (EC) nomenclature, making differentiation challenging. On the other hand, another biological information, gene ontology (GO), can describe the biological aspects of enzymes, covering related biological processes (BP), molecular functions (MF), and their locations within cells (CC). This study proposes a novel EC class and subclass classification of enzymes within the ontology subclass based on their GO semantics using a Bidirectional Encoder Representation of Transformer (BERT). The BERT model is first fine-tuned using the preprocessed GO term name and definition, with the enzymes in each ontology class (BP, MF, or CC) are also divided based on how the GO assigned, either through manual annotation (NONIEA) or electronically inferred (IEA). BERT successfully obtained 0.93, 0.60, 0.99, 0.90, 0.40, and 0.35 F1 scores during fine-tuning for BP IEA, BP NONIEA, MF IEA, MF NONIEA, CC IEA, and CC NONIEA, respectively. On the test set, the fine-tuned BERT significantly outperformed GOntoSim, a framework to calculate semantic similarity based on classical information theory, in EC class classification across all metrics with less inference time in all ontology subclass. Expanded further to the EC subclass, BERT can classify the enzyme on the EC subclass level in BP IEA and MF IEA ontology subclass. However, longer epochs are needed in fine-tuning. This result shows that the names and definitions of GO terms are distinguishable features in classifying enzymes as an alternative to the information content approach. © 2024 IEEE.

Many individuals now trade online utilizing trading software in the digital world. Binomo is one of Indonesia's most popular trading platforms. This is because some influencers made several promises to Binomo customers. Since many customers were deceived, this case became quite popular. This study was executed to see how Indonesians felt about the Binomo application after the case went viral. The solution taken was in the form of sentiment analysis because there had been no previous research on sentiment analysis that discussed the Binomo case. The data was scanned using Netlytic tools, a cloud-based text and social network analyzer capable of identifying any talks on social media sites such as Twitter. The sentiment analysis of Binomo trading tweets by using the Multi-Perspective Question Answering lexicon utilized the KNIME tool. But unfortunately, the accuracy of sentiment analysis results is low. Furthermore, the Support Vector Machine technique is also being conducted. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method is applied to perform feature extraction whilst the chi-square approach is utilized to identify features that are thought to be useful for inclusion in the classification process and to exclude features that are irrelevant to the target class. The obtained accuracy is 86%. The study proposes that words from the algorithm's outputs can be utilized to improve the quality of sentiment analysis using the lexicon. As an outcome of the algorithm, positive and negative terms are added to the lexicon, increasing the accuracy of sentiment analysis using the new vocabulary from 58.984% to 71.146%. © 2023 IEEE.

With the intensification of domestication, companion animals have become precious members of family homes;therefore, there is a constant search for improving the quality of life and well-being of these animals, where nutrition is considered a factor of great relevance. Natural diets appear as an alternative to differentiated feeds for pets, and the dehydration of natural feeds favors their use, maintaining their quality and increasing their shelf life. The present study objective was to determine whether dehydrated natural feed can replace extruded dry feed while maintaining good digestibility without impairing its metabolism, inflammatory/immune responses, and antioxidant status. Ten male beagle dogs housed in an experimental kennel and fed individually were used. They were divided into two groups with five animals each, one group received natural dehydrated feed (DNF), and another consumed commercial dry feed (DCF), calculated from the determination of metabolizable energy (ME) requirements based on the animal’s metabolic weight (BW). The experiment lasted 45 days, with 40 days of adaptation and health assessment and days of feces collection from animals in metabolism cages. At the end of this first phase, after a 10-day interval, the experiment was repeated;however, in this phase, the animals from the DCF group were transferred to the DNF group so that all animals received both feeds. During the 40 days, the animals were weighed, and blood was collected. On the other 5 days, total feces were collected, and the feces score was calculated. The animals in the DNF group showed higher digestibility of digestible fiber and mineral matter and lower digestibility of ether extract and dry matter. The dogs from the DNF group had a higher volume of excreted feces, with higher humidity and a score of 3;for the DCF group, the score was 2. DNF dogs had lower blood leukocyte and granulocyte counts;however, there was a tendency toward increased lymphocytes on day 40. Dogs in the
