Incremental dataflow analysis is a conventional technique adopted in syntax-directed editors, popularly used in Integrated Development Environments (IDEs). However, dataflow anomaly detection during program editing in IDEs remains a challenge due to the interaction with newer functionalities, such as AI-powered plugins like Copilot, which might insert and modify code lines directly. These interactions impact both the efficiency and effectiveness of dataflow anomaly detection processes. This paper introduces an enhanced incremental dataflow analysis approach in IDEs, focused on the analysis of dataflow within program structures. Our approach introduces a modified version of SP-tree, named SP-graph. This modification, involving the addition of supporting edges, facilitates data storage and enhances dataflow analysis incrementally. We also present a mechanism that streamlines dataflow anomaly detection within IDEs by identifying modifications that may impact dataflow, updating relevant data, and conducting immediate analysis. In addition, incremental concurrent anomaly detection in SP-graph shall be studied further. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach through a case study. © 2024 IEEE.

A subscription movie streaming service from the United States, Netflix, has been present in Indonesia since 2016 and provides a wide variety of films without showing any single advertisements that can be viewed from anywhere, as long as there is access to the internet. Despite these advantages, many users have complained through the Google Play Store's comments column. Some of the common complaints include frequent buffering and connectivity issues, dissatisfaction with the limited selection of Indonesian movies, lack of subtitles for specific languages, or pricing concerns have also been raised. In this study developed two combined scenario methods using the InSet and SentiStrength-id dictionary to obtain better performance and compare them against independent InSet and SentiStrength-id. This study collected users' comments for the Netflix app in the Google Play Store as a dataset using web scraping techniques through the Google Collaboration tool. The dataset contains 3250 rows spanning the period from January 22, 2024, through June 6, 2024. To ensure proper processing of the text, data cleaning, lowercasing, normalization, tokenization, stemming, and stopwords removal are conducted. The results show that most user opinions are negative. The InSet dictionary has an accuracy of 92%, SentiStrength-id 78%, Combined scenario 1 is 87%, and scenario 2 reaches the highest among others which is 92.52%. © 2024 IEEE.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are widely used in various applications, from inspection and surveillance to transportation and delivery. Navigating UAVs in complex 3D environments is a challenging task that requires robust and efficient decision-making algorithms. This paper presents a novel approach to UAV navigation in 3D environments using a Curriculum-based Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) approach. The proposed method utilizes a deep neural network to model the UAV's decision-making process and to learn a mapping from the state space to the action space. The learning process is guided by a reinforcement signal that reflects the performance of the UAV in terms of reaching its target while avoiding obstacles and with energy efficiency. Simulation results show that the proposed method has a positive trade off when compared to the baseline algorithm. The proposed method was able to perform well in environments with a state space size of 22 millions, allowing the usage in big environments or in maps with high resolution. The results demonstrate the potential of DRL for enabling UAVs to operate effectively in complex environments. © 2023 IEEE.

This study addresses the Testing Facility Location with Constrained Queue Time Problem. This optimization problem focuses on determining the best places to deploy testing sites and their available testers for infectious diseases, while constraining the maximum time in the queue with a given probability. An integer programming model is introduced and applied to the three biggest counties, in terms of population, of Florida, United States. Moreover, the Monte Carlo method is used to evaluate the model's output, aiming to check if the queueing time constraint is being satisfied. Through the experiments, a testing facility deployment plan can be determined for each county and further validated by the simulation. The results show that the solutions returned by the model behaved successfully when submitted to the Monte Carlo method, not exceeding the time in the queue in more than the predefined probability.

Monitoring and controlling the particle size is essential to reducing the variability and optimizing energy efficiency in mineral process plants. The industry standard utilizes laboratory processes for particle size characterization;the problems that arise here are obtaining representative sample from the bulk and finding a rapid method of particle size assessment. We propose a machine vision concept based on Edge AI architecture and deep convolutional neural algorithms to enable a real-time analysis of particle size, as an alternative to offline laboratory process. The present paper is part of this proposed concept and aims exclusively to validate a deep convolutional neural network algorithm trained from synthetic datasets. The proposed model reached a mean Average Precision (mAP) of 0.96 and processing times of less than 1s. The results demonstrate the feasibility of deep convolutional neural networks for real-time particle size segmentation and establishes the first step towards a novel Edge AI system for particle size measurement in mineral processing plants. Dataset management systems are essential for assisting research and development (R&D) organizations in applying data governance protocols, especially in managing the utilization of datasets. In R&D, datasets are vital sources for producing analysis, machine learning prediction, and supporting decision-making. As such, it is important to deploy dataset management systems with considerations regarding the aspects of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) which is a design principle that emphasized information protection and collaboration facilitation among dataset users. The study proposed an analysis and a design for a dataset management system that takes CIA aspects into account. In the future, the proposed design will be utilized as a benchmark for building a dataset management system. In this study, the Waterfall method was adopted. A use case diagram, an ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), and an activity diagram were constructed in the design stage. In the project implementation stage, the Laravel framework including Laravel Jetstream was considered to be used. © 2024 IEEE.

Racing is one of the most prominent genres in the modern video game industry, where the games within the genre enable players to use any vehicle of their choice and win through doing series of action within gameplay. Thus, it made the genre popular over the years, spawning many famous titles such as Split Second back in 2010. Like every other video game title, Split Second also invokes the player emotion and instinct during its gameplay session. To understand the emotion and instinct aspect present in players of the game, we will use 6-11 framework which focuses on the two aspects. As part of the conclusion, Split Second game involves instincts such as Competition, Collecting, and Survival, with emotions including Fear, Pride, Joy, and Excitement, which can be found from its vast single player game modes.

With the advancement of technology, information systems have become increasingly necessary in almost all areas, including healthcare. One of the technologies used to facilitate this progress is electronic medical records (EMRs). Although EMRs have improved service delivery and patient care in healthcare, they also pose risks to patient data due to cybercrime attacks, which can result in data theft and alteration of medical records. Medical identity theft has become a major issue in healthcare systems around the world, While technology has been beneficial in improving service delivery and patient care in healthcare, it has also introduced numerous risks to patient safety and ultimately impacted patient health. Cybersecurity issues have advanced with technology, thus increasing the rate at which medical identity thefts occur. The healthcare industry lags in curbing cybersecurity issues, and thus, it is vulnerable to many cyberattacks. To address these risks, techniques, and methods are needed to ensure the security of EMR systems against cybercrime attacks. This study used a literature review method and identified eleven articles that met inclusion and exclusion criteria. Through analysis of these articles, several techniques and methods were identified to secure the privacy system in EMRs, such as mIBE-AES, DES, and RSA methods. The literature review revealed that Encryption Data is the safest technique to use, as it is standardized, widely accessible, and cost-effective. Furthermore, mIBE-AES is the safest method for EMRs because it is both secure and efficient for storing medical record documents. Performance evaluations were conducted to test the level of security against cybercrime attacks. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to the disparity in the levels of difficulty presented by the several tasks, doing domain adaptation in an adversarial way may result in an imbalanced learning process. In the MNIST dataset, this phenomenon also manifests itself in the form of domain adaptation for color-shifted distribution. In this particular situation, the domain classifier has a higher tendency to fit more quickly, but the category classifier fits quite poorly in the learning process. In order to address this problem, a new hyper-parameter has been added to the loss function in order to strike a compromise between the learning speed of the domain and the categorical classifier. By using this technique, the categorical classifier may better match the data while still maintaining the same level of performance as the domain classifier. In order to determine whether or not making use of this hyper-parameter is useful, the phenomena in question is examined using three distinct color-shifted settings. Following the evaluations, it was discovered that the newly introduced hyper-parameter is capable of coping with imbalanced learning while simultaneously engaging in domain adaptation. © 2023 IEEE.
