The improvement of some aspects in tourism industry needs further study through aspect-based sentiment analysis based on tourist experience. The aim of this study is presenting the empiric results of aspect-based sentiment analysis to extract some useful aspects of services for leveraging tourism industry development based on user's feedback. The study uses customer review data from TripAdvisor website for developing classification model using machine learning algorithms including Decision Tree (DT), Random Forest Classifier (RFC), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) models. Each machine learning model under study is trained using K-Fold Cross Validation. The empiric results found that accuracy of RFC achieved the highest result (99.5%) followed by XGBoost (87.3%), DT (82.9%), and SVM (80.5%). The extracted meaningful aspects from customer feedback give many valuable insights for service quality improvement in tourism industry in the effort to strengthening the rising-up of sustainability economic growth through tourism industry. © 2022 IEEE.

The use of technology nowadays does not feel strange. Everyday people who use technology for their daily needs, starting with each other, seeking knowledge, can even earn income by doing business using technology. Social media is a tool that can be used by people to become with each other by creating, sharing, and exchanging information virtually through a network. However, in the current era, the notion of social media is not only about exchanging information, but also to support business products. The problem is how to compete tightly in this modern era in increasing the selling value of business products. The positive impact of social media for sales in business products are huge such as, increase sales, increase product promotion, greater market distribution. On the other side, the negative impact also takes part such as, the more competitors, the products compete fiercely in the market. This research aims to identify more the impact of social media on sales of business products that focused on business, benefit, and factor. The research method that we used is quantitative which focuses on the number of samples of respondents to support the research results and the results are in the form of a graphic that shows the answers of the respondents to the questionnaire. © 2023 IEEE.

Primary dysmenorrhea (PD), characterised by chronic pelvic pain during menstruation, significantly impairs the quality of life for many women. This paper presents a modelling and clinical validation study of the novel Nettle™ device for at-home transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) for alleviating PD symptoms. Specifically, we aimed to investigate the electric field patterns induced by Nettle™ and its immediate efficacy in reducing menstrual pain and improving functionality. Finite element method (FEM) simulations, using realistic head models, assessed the electric field distribution, targeting key brain regions involved in pain processing. A single-centre triple-blinded, sham-controlled study involving 34 women was conducted to compare the effects of active and sham tDCS. Results demonstrated a clinically meaningful decline in menstrual pain symptoms in the active group, with medium effect sizes for both pain reduction (Cohen's d=0.53) and functionality (Cohen's d=0.47), based on Nettle™'s protocol focused on the electric field within the medial prefrontal cortex. Limitations include the use of generalised brain models and small sample size, highlighting the need for further research with comprehensive modelling and larger clinical trials to validate and understand the effects of Nettle™ as a menstrual neuromodulation therapy. Clinical Relevance - This study underscores Nettle™'s potential as a non-invasive, cost-efficient intervention for PD, with implications for broader applications in women's health. © 2024 IEEE.

Double-double (DD) lay-up is a new configuration strategy for the design of composite laminates, which allows the use of simplified stacking sequences that leads to potential advantages, such as improved manufacturability and design optimization, as compared to traditional quadriaxial laminates (Quad), which are limited to ply angles of 0°, ±45° and 90°. With the double-double concept, through-the-thickness homogenization is facilitated using thinner sub-laminates and, consequently, profile optimization through thickness tapering becomes possible. In this work, damages after impact and after CAI tests of a double-double laminate (+50/0/-50/0)10 and a hard conventional laminate of equivalent in-plane stiffness (03/90/±45/02/±45)2S are compared. According to the data presented, maximum delaminated areas were of the same order of magnitude for the quad and for the DD laminates, under both conditions: after impact and after CAI tests. The results contribute to the understanding of potential benefits of the double-double concept to damage resistance and damage tolerance of composite laminates. © 2023 International Committee on Composite Materials. In the high-performance computing domain, Field programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is a novel accelerator that exhibits high flexibility and performance characteristics distinct from other accelerators such as the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). Recent advanced high-end FPGA is equipped with multiple channels of high speed optical link up to 100Gbps performance for each. This is a crucial feature when we construct PC clusters with FPGAs as accelerators, however it is not easy to utilize from user kernels because this feature is implemented in low level and simple direct communication between neighboring FPGAs. In order to provide the communication feature between FPGAs for accelerated PC clusters, we developed a communication system named CIRCUS which implies a user-friendly API from OpenCL and is equipped with routing function over multi-hop communication on multi-dimensional torus network of FPGAs. However, current CIRCUS only provides a point-to-point communication between source and destination FPGAs. In ordinary parallel processing environment such as MPI, the user program the message passing with various collective communication functions for parallel algorithm, for instance Allreduce, Allgather, etc. In this paper, we implement the collective communication function over CIRCUS for user-friendly programming of ordinary parallel algorithms on FPGAs. As the first target, we implement Allreduce function which is the most essential and important function. The paper describes the CIRCUS system briefly followed by the design, implementation and preliminary performance evaluation on Intel Stratix10 FPGAs. © 2023 ACM.

Hypertension is a noncommunicable disease (NCD) that causes global concern, high costs and a high number of deaths. Internet of Things, Ubiquitous Computing, and Cloud Computing enable the development of systems for remote and real-time monitoring of patients affected with NCDs like hypertension. This paper reports on a system for monitoring hypertension patients that was built by employing these techniques. This system allows the vital signs of a patient (blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature) to be captured via sensors built in a wearable device similar to a wristwatch. These signals are transmitted to the patient's mobile device for processing, and the generated clinical data are sent to the cloud to be properly presented and analysed by the health professionals responsible for the patient. To deal with semantic interoperability issues that arise when multiple different devices and system components must interoperate, a semantic model was conceived for this system in terms of ontologies for diseases and devices. This paper also presents the semantic module that we developed and implemented in the cloud to perform reasoning based on this model, demonstrating the potential benefits of incorporating semantic technologies in our system. With the growing demands for Precision Agriculture (PA) in Indonesia, researchers have evaluated the utilization of Machine Learning for predicting oil palm yields and determining variables affecting them. Previous studies showed that meteorological variables, including rainfalls and wind speed, are associated with oil palm yields. In this research, the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) model and the Shapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) were deployed for analyzing the importance of 15 agrometeorological variables in predicting oil palm yield. The best model attained 1.911 RMSE and 0.855 RRʹ. By analyzing the weights and gains of the XGBoost model along with the SHAP values, it was found that the yield in the previous year, the age and number of plants, the area of peat lands, and meteorological parameters such as rainfall rates and the number of rainy days in the previous three years were considered important. The previous year's yield in particular possesses the greatest weight and gain values according to the model, and the highest SHAP value among all input variables. However, the meteorological data used in this research are only limited to rainfall rates and the number of rainy days. In the future, more diverse variables can be analyzed. © 2023 The Authors. Navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape requires a sophisticated platform that is not only comprehensive but also user-friendly and enables seamless analysis and document comparison in the legal realm. To address this challenging requirement, this research is dedicated to the user experience (UX) design of state-of the-art cloud-native mobile applications specifically designed for legal and regulatory harmonization. The methodology used is based on design thinking principles and takes advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, reliability, and security. The result is a solution that is not only powerful but also cost-effective. The core of this application follows a user-centered design philosophy and involves potential users closely in the design process. A comprehensive evaluation is performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology to measure the effectiveness and usability of the application. The results of this comprehensive approach are convincing. The application has an impressive 95.5% usage rate, indicating strong user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction ratings are particularly high and transformative impact of this application in a complex environment of legal harmonization. Through its innovative design, seamless functionality, and user-centric approach, this application has proven to be not only a technical solution, but also a catalyst for positive change in the legal and regulatory harmonization process. © 2023 IEEE.

High availability (HA) in MySQL databases remains a critical challenge, particularly due to risks such as single point of failure (SPOF) and limited scalability in existing setups. Previous studies have explored various approaches to address these issues. One study implemented ProxySQL and Orchestrator for query routing and failover but relied on a single server instance, creating a SPOF that could disrupt client access during failures. Another study implemented HAProxy to balance traffic and couple database servers with specific web applications. While effective for certain use cases, this approach reduced resource efficiency and scalability, because it relies on HTTP protocol and database server are coupled to each application, making it less suitable for dynamic, shared environments requiring high flexibility. These limitations highlight the need for a more robust and scalable HA solution. This paper proposes an improved HA architecture that eliminates SPOFs and enhances scalability by combining redundant ProxySQL instances synchronized with Keepalived managed Virtual IP (VIP) and automated failover using Orchestrator. The architecture allows shared database resources across multiple applications while decoupling them from specific application servers. Test results confirm the system's ability to maintain seamless failover, consistent query routing, and uninterrupted client access through dynamic Virtual IP reassignment to backup server. By addressing the issues of previous studies, this solution provides a practical and scalable framework to achieve high availability in the MySQL cluster by combing ProxySQL, Orchestrator, and Keepalived, making it suitable for modern enterprise environments.

In this paper, the authors investigate the current state of the lighting design and control sector in Thailand's creative industry. The government aims to promote the creative industry as a key source of income, but there needs more skilled professionals in the industry. The authors have found that successful cases have used the Internet for remote controlling in the creative industry in other countries. Therefore, the paper will explore the potential of using technology to improve professional efficiency and assess the feasibility of implementing remote lighting control systems via the Internet with Thai lighting designers and lighting console operators. Data will be collected through qualitative in-depth interviews and quantitative surveys. The results have shown a promising acceptance rate of wireless devices for lighting control due to their mobility, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and positive attitudes toward adopting Internet technology. The authors have also proposed a concept design for an internet-based control system tailored to Thai users, focusing on simplicity, ease of connection, and user-friendliness to accommodate those with limited network configuration knowledge. The proposed system aims to reduce professionals, save time, and increase convenience, leveraging Thailand's extensive wireless internet coverage. These systems could significantly benefit Thailand's creative industry by addressing the shortage of skilled professionals and improving efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.
