Anderson:has a bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering from Florida Technological University and a master's degree in environmental engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a graduate of the Naval Sea Systems Command's Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Program. Mr. Anderson was instrumental in introducing the collective protection system (CPS) in the U.S. Navy developing the initial forward-fit package for the USS Gunston Hall and the engineering change proposal (ECP) for the USS Wasp. In 1990 he joined the Human Systems Integration (HSI) Division (SEA 55W5) where he was task leader for auxiliary ships. He is currently the HSI manager for the future technology variant of the SeaLift ship and the future carrier. Association of Scientists and Engineers 33rdAnnual Technical Symposium 26 April 1996. Fred R. Oberman:has B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Chicago and Loyola University (experimental psychology) and an M.S. degree in industrial engineering and operations research from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI). He is currently responsible for NavSea HSI generic research and tool development efforts. 作者: FAIRHEAD, DL HALL, CC Since graduating from Cleveland State University in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics he has worked for the Navy at Annapolis participating in several different automation efforts ranging from design aids to surface ship bridge control. Mr. Fairhead has completed graduate work in Computer Science at the University of Maryland has a certificate in Computer Programming holds a patent and is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Upon graduation from Morgan State in 1962 Mr. Hall was employed as a physicist at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division Annapolis until 1994. During that time period he served as program technical manager for propulsion technology and as senior project scientist for several automation projects including the Automated Ships Bridge project. Mr. Hall also served as a member of the initial Technical Director's Technology Application Team and of the Autonomic Ship Innovation Center Team. Mr. Hall is a member of the American Institute of Physics and Sigma Pi Sigma (National Physics Honor Society).

作者: MITTLEMAN, J SWAN, L John Mittleman:is a mechanical engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Coastal Systems Station in Panama City Florida. His Primary Responsibilities are in the development of underwater nondestructive testing equipment for use by fleet divers and inspectors. He also performs research in the characterization of metal microstructure through ultrasonic scattering measurements. Mr. Mittleman received his BS from Cornell University in 1969 and science master's in ocean engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1970. His research currently supports doctoral studies with Iowa State University. Mr. Mittleman received the American Society of Naval Engineer's Solberg Award in 1981 for his contributions to underwater ship hull inspection. Mr. Mittleman is a member of ASNE ASNT ASTM IoD Sigma Xi Tau Beta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi. Lisa Swan:is a mechanical engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City Florida. She is involved in nondestructive testing engineering primarily in the underwater arena. Ms. Swan holds a bachelor of science in materials engineering from North Carolina State University. She is a graduate of the Federal Women's Executive Leadership Program. Ms. Swan is a member of ASNT.
