Regarding situation of “intangible culture inheritance and activation” of Shengzhou Bamboo Weaving of Zhejiang, this study adopts participant observation and in-depth interview. The results show that: (1) some cultural assets are recorded. Digital preservation and written books are extremely insufficient. Inheritors' following use is not satisfying; (2) policy of “intangible culture program” is outstanding and introduction of intangible culture in elementary school curriculum revives bamboo weaving. However, it does not interact with community life; (3) bamboo weaving industry managers' creative consciousness and network resources are reinforced. However, they lack experience of cultural industry operation and regional activation.

Social design has become a popular topic in recent years. It is designated to solve social or local issues. Any products or services 'design for the society' can be the purpose of design. LaijiVillage faces the social issue to transform due to its outflow of labor force, loss of culture, and difficulty in sustaining traditional agriculture. In this study, over 20 interdisciplinary postgraduates majored in Cultural Industry and Library Management read data on Laiji Village in advance and carried out a 2 Days & 1 Night Workshop in Laiji with the topic of social design and the method of cooperative design in 2016. The social design was conducted centering on four social issues faced by Laiji, that is, cultural preservation, handicraft marketing, organic agriculture, and eco-tourism. They should have fieldwork, interview residents, and discussion with their professors so as to dig out the issues and difficulties of Laiji Villageand propose solutions. This study analyzed the 2 Days & 1 Night Social design Workshop, and explored issues and took action within a short time. The cooperative design and social design are summarized as follows: 1) Interdisciplinary cooperative design has a positive influence on the understanding of the Tribe: Advantages: The students had different expertise and could give full play of their respective strengths. They conducted deep fieldwork and observed from multiple perspectives. Disadvantages: It took much time for them to figure out how to cooperate with each other, which, however, was beneficial for creative thinking. According to different perspectives, they have found that the seemingly ordinary or even problematic status quo is actually the characteristic of the Tribe. 3) Proposal of content of social design: Through the workshop, it has been found that the cultural authenticity of Laiji Village is the best basis for the marketing strategies of Laiji Village. Quantum tunneling phenomenon allows a high-barrier reaction to occur even though thermal energy is not sufficient to surmount the barrier. The phenomenon has been suggested to exist in the isomerization of methylhydroxycarbene which occured at 11 K. Here we study the quantum tunneling that occured in the isomerization of methylhydroxycarbene to acetaldehyde and to vinyl alcohol based on density functional calculations. The isomerization pathways are determined under the effect of various solvents which are modeled by polarizable continuum model (PCM). We use Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation to calculate the tunneling probability (T) and extend the usefulness of T into isomerization rate. The results show that the solvents give a significant effect on the isomerization rate of methylhydroxycarbene to acetaldehyde but an insignificant one on the isomerization rate to vinyl alcohol.

Rice tillering is an important agronomic trait regulated by plant genetic and environmental factors. However, the role and mechanism of the root microbiota in modulating rice tillering have not been explored. Here, we examined the root microbiota composition and tiller numbers of 182 genome-sequenced rice varieties grown under field conditions and uncovered a significant correlation between root microbiota composition and rice tiller number. Using cultivated bacterial isolates, we demonstrated that various members of the root microbiota can regulate rice tillering in both laboratory and field conditions. Genetic, biochemical, and structural analyses revealed that cyclo(Leu-Pro), produced by the tiller-inhibiting bacterium Exiguobacterium R2567, activates the rice strigolactone (SL) signaling pathway by binding to the SL receptor OsD14, thus regulating tillering. The present work provides insight into how the root microbiota regulates key agronomic traits and offers a promising strategy for optimizing crop growth by harnessing the root microbiota in sustainable agriculture. © 2025 The Authors

This work involves experiments using subroutines developed by the author in Fortran language to calculate heat and mass transfer, and ventilation. The simulations were done to check the results of the influence of the application of different materials on a flat roof associated to passive ventilation. The target of this paper is to evaluate the use of subroutines developed to show air temperature changes, the heat transfer through a flat roof and the ventilation on a small prototype. The experiments conducted involved predictable results and that is exactly why they were suitable to check the performance of the subroutine. It is relevant to mention that the heat transfer through a flat roof was checked including a solar gain factor, which changes during the simulation using the subroutines, according to the hour of day (hourly from 7a.m. to 5p.m). The analysis started by solving the air-circulation problem to determine the wind fields, using a mixed stabilized finite element method, like Petrov-Galerkin, applied to the full Navier-Stokes equations. The thermal problem is analyzed through the SUPG - Streamline Up-wind Petrov-Galerkin stabilized finite element method. Computational simulations allow for testing low cost operational interferences before implementing a project. © Copyright 2017 NCEUB.

Traditional puppet performances already have qualities of improvisation. In front of a large audience, the actors rely on the story outline and add their own creative improvisation to complete a perfect performance. In this study, with digital electronic mediums to construct actor-oriented interactive stage, set up the background screen, projector, stereo speakers, XBOX360 detectors, etc. Finally, the purpose is to inject new life for traditional culture. © 2016 IEEE.

The gaming industry has become one of the fastest growing industries in the world. In recent years there have been several studies that have used games, especially computer-based ones to improve the executive function of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) especially in working memory improvements. There are still several obstacles in using computer-based games that have been circulating today in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to develop and create a prototype game that can be used to improve working memory of children with ADHD using Bahasa Indonesia. The prototype game application is a race game with matching colors and memory work tasks; developed using Construct2. Players will play as a driver, delivering certain fruits to specific homes with different colors. The game also included visuospatial tasks such as remembering the objects. For performance test, CPU utilization, average FPS and image memory usage has been tested in several browsers. In conclusion, the performance tests results show that the first type of the prototype game is good enough to be played in desktop or laptop.

Thermoplastic urethane (TPU) nonwoven is characterized by high elasticity, tensile strength, large elongation and structural stability and widely used in biomaterial. However, the hydrophobic nature of TPU nonwoven restricts its application. To improve surface hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity, the surface modification of materials is carried out by plasma treatment or ion-beam irradiation. According to the wettability treatment experiences that substrate usually using two processing or more to get one side hydrophilic and another side hydrophobic. In this study, use of cold plasma treatment in enhancing surface wettability of TPU nonwoven was studied. The surface properties of plasma treated films are characterized by Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), water contact angle measurement, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). This study has demonstrated that Argon plasma treatment produces hydrophobic or hydrophilic surface on the TPU nonwoven. The method is performed by first placing a hydrophobic material on one side of substrate and bring this side to face the lower electrode. By controlling the RF power of the reactor, hydrophilic or hydrophobic surface can be prepared on the other side. Because the advantage of short time for Short Animation. It must be short and powerful in an image and to complete for a plot (drama). How the plot is going in order to achieve drama tension. There is a crucial factor in "conflict" and "twist point". how the plot going on due to achieve drama tension. Due to achieve drama tension how will the plot going on. The author had been found that most of the content analysis is mainly on "story structure" and "plot relationship". However, in the plot on "after the conflict", it is relatively lacking. For this result will have a problem. That's why can't understand when story had been conflict to continue. For this result, there will be a problem. When the story has been conflict and can't understand how the story continues? What kind of reason will let conflict to change and solve? Those confused will be point out another plot that is why it called a "twist point". How to clarify this subject has become the focus on research and analysis. Therefore, these researches based on relevant literature analysis and precede animation case analysis. Among study for "conflict" and "twist point" of structure and relation are used for the "twist point".
