Digital Twin (DT) is a virtual replica that mirrors physical objects, systems, or entities. In the construction sector, DTs play a crucial role in building management, optimizing energy usage, predicting maintenance, and enhancing building lifecycle management. Although effectively integrated into traditional construction practices, its application in the prefabricated construction (PC) field remains relatively limited. Despite its potential to transform the PC, a significant research gap exists in comprehensive literature addressing the approaches, challenges, and requirements specific to this field. This study aims to bridge this gap through a mixed-method research approach that includes bibliometric analysis and systematic review. Publications related to PC and DT are collected from the Scopus database, followed by bibliometric analysis to offer a quantitative insight into the current research trends, prolific authors, and geographical distribution. Furthermore, this study conducts a systematic review that qualitatively analyzes the objectives of DT applications in PC, explores its methodological approaches, identifies challenges and recommendations for practitioners and researchers, and suggests future needs. The findings highlight the pressing need for standardization, robust data management, and scalable solutions to navigate the complexities. Conclusively, this paper presents a comprehensive conceptual framework to facilitate the application of DT in various phases of PC. The critical limitation is the reliance on the publications on the Scopus database and its potential biases. Excluding the need to expand on more emergent publications, discussing empirical DT studies in PC to highlight interoperability and standardization needs is also required for future research. © 2024 ISARC. One of the primary difficulties of Indonesia's banking sector is to ensure that it continues to develop in business, is robust, and can foresee new risks while enhancing governance, risk, and compliance. This study will determine the effect of risk management implementation, absorptive capacity, and digital adoption on organizational resilience. The survey method is being used as a research method, with targeted respondents from senior executives, including C-suites, senior vice presidents, and vice presidents. The results show that digital adoption and absorptive capacity impact risk management implementation and organizational resilience despite the limited research available in the Indonesian banking sector. The study will contribute to understanding how enterprise resilience is affected by risk management. This research has presented an opportunity for both banking management and policymakers to formulate strategies aimed at bolstering organizational resilience within the banking sector. These strategies could aid in navigating unforeseen and disruptive business environments. Furthermore, this study stands to expand the application of concepts such as organizational resilience and dynamic capacity theory, particularly within the banking industry of developing nations. © 2024 IEEE.

Learning Analytics (LA) has the potential to transform the way we learn, work and live our lives. To reach its potential, it must be clearly defined, incorporated into institutional teaching-learning strategies and processes and practices. The main goal of this study is to list indicators to be used in learning analytics in programming teaching and how to expose their views. For the development of the indicator model, this study based on a qualitative analysis, using data visualization and business intelligence tools, in projects focused on Learning Analytics. This article explores the integration of Self-Directed Learning (SDL), Personal Knowledge management (PKM) and the Second Brain (SB) concept within the Knowledge Society scenario. Highlighting SDL as a key contemporary competence, we emphasize the role of PKM in enhancing work efficiency and career development, crucial in an era marked by vast data influx. The SB concept is presented as a digital tool for effective information and knowledge organization, serving as a knowledge base along the CODE workflow and PARA system, also addressing challenges posed by the information age. The synergy between SB, PKM and SDL is examined as a holistic approach for optimizing knowledge management, fostering personal development and enhancing learning processes. We also discuss the implications for Organizational Knowledge management (OKM) and active learning in organizational settings, aiming to cultivate a culture of adaptability and lifelong learning. Efficient production planning requires well-structured models compatible with metaheuristic and other optimization techniques. This study compares three established metaheuristic methods - sanitized-teaching-learning-based optimization (s-TLBO), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Differential Evolution (DE) with a termination criterion of equal number of functional evaluations - for profit-maximizing production planning. The focus is on a single-level problem involving complex constraints, non-linear costs, budget and raw material limitations. The paper presents two solution strategies: a penalty-based and a correction-based approach. Analyzing 300 unique instances of the problem reveals that s-TLBO implemented with correction-based approach consistently outperforms the other methods in devising optimal production plans for two Saudi Arabian petrochemical industries with 24 products, 54 processes, and three raw materials for plant 1 and two raw materials for plant 2. © 2024 IEEE.

To enhance production planning efficiency, it's crucial to have well-structured models that align with metaheuristic and other optimization techniques. This research conducts a comparative analysis of three unique metaheuristic methods: sanitized-teaching-learning-based optimization (sTLBO), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Differential Evolution (DE) with a termination criterion of equal number of functional evaluations. The primary focus lies on profit-maximizing production planning within a single-level framework, encompassing intricate domain constraints, nonlinear costs, budget limitations and raw material constraints. The paper introduces three correction-based solution approaches. Upon evaluating 300 distinct instances of the problem, the study reveals that s-TLBO integrated with correction-based approach 1 and 3 consistently outperforms the other methods when it comes to devising optimal production plans for a Saudi Arabian petrochemical industry. This industry scenario involves 24 products, 54 processes, and three raw materials. © 2024 IEEE.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has demonstrated a wide range of merits over traditional and modern constructions. The integration of generative design (GD) with BIM in the construction industry has become an interesting topic, even though the concept is not very new. Prefabricated construction (PC) offers several advantages over traditional construction and has recently advanced to a new level of study because of the usage of BIM. The synchronization of BIM with PC is becoming simpler to create automatic design solutions in its early phases, thanks to the current breakthroughs in the internet of things (IoT) and its applications. There has been an increase in research interests that are mostly focused on examining tools and applications. However, there are not many studies that have looked at methodological relationships and other factors, which has led researchers to focus more on GD-BIM-based investigations. This study provides a preliminary critical analysis of the software, skill, and methodological requirements for current GD-BIM integration methodologies. The publications are pulled from web of science platform and thoroughly examined in statistical and systematic methods to give a fresh viewpoint on objective-oriented and skill-driven GD-BIM development for PC. New guidance to improve skill learning for GD-BIM development is recommended in this study. The analysis and recommendations might aid the researchers and designers in comprehending the situation and paying attention to future requirements. © ISARC 2023. All rights reserved.

Forest fires have a significant impact on ecosystems and human life, especially in northern Thailand, where Chiang Mai is severely affected. Traditional methods for detecting forest fires have limitations, so there is a need for advanced simulation models. This research uses Agent-Based Modeling (ABM) to develop a forest fire simulation for Chiang Mai. The methodology involves collecting historical data, performing Multiple Regression Analysis, designing the simulation, and testing it. Data from 1998 to 2021, including temperature, relative humidity, wind speed/direction, burn area, and slope, were collected from various sources. Multiple regression analysis identified wind speed as the most significant factor affecting burn area. The forest fire simulation, designed using ZF Wang's spread model and tested with AnyLogic, showed that wind direction and speed are crucial in fire spread. The simulation accurately predicted high-risk areas, helping in proactive planning and response. This study confirms that wind is a critical factor in forest fire spread, providing a valuable tool for fire districts to improve preparedness and management. Future research should focus on refining the model with localized data and integrating real-time detection to improve its accuracy and applicability. © 2024 IEEE.

Ku-band and Ka-band are frequency bands that are widely used for high throughput satellites, in Indonesia Ku-band have been used in several types of satellite services to support bandwidth limitations in the C-band. For this reason, a comparative study of Ku-band and Ka-band was carried out to ensure that the two frequency bands can be used in Indonesia's tropical climate and further evaluate the existing regulations for the implementation of HTS in Indonesia. The results of this study show that Ku-band and Ka-band can be used for HTS satellites in Indonesia. All communication links tested showed C/N values higher than the minimum requirements of C/N. Although both frequency bands can use in Indonesia, in terms of economy and efficiency, Ka-band is greater than Ku-band, the availability of wide bandwidth makes the throughput produced by Ka-band more than Ku-band. Capacity measurement simulation is also carried out with two frequency reuse schemes where higher throughput is present at 8 spot beams per cluster scheme. The scenario requires at least nine times frequency reuse to cover the entire region of Indonesia with total throughput on Ka-band 123.02 Gbps under normal sky conditions and 55.56 Gbps under rain sky conditions. The regulation review process resulted in suggestions for changes to the bandwidth cost index to be used in setting spectrum prices for the use of HTS. The need for this change is based on the consideration that bandwidth cost index was previously the base price for satellite transponders with a small bandwidth and HTS satellites are sensitive bandwidth technology. © 2023 IEEE.

The 2011 flood in Thailand exposed significant vulnerabilities in industrial areas, highlighting the necessity for enhanced disaster risk management through Area-Business Continuity management (Area-BCM). This preliminary study focuses on identifying how stakeholders rely on information from each other to improve disaster preparedness and response. The research involves systematically identifying Area-BCM stakeholders and designing interview questions, which are evaluated by experts using the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) to ensure relevance and clarity. All interview questions surpassed the IOC threshold of 0.5, confirming their effectiveness in capturing information interdependencies. Expert feedback led to refinements in the questions, underscoring the importance of tailored data collection. This initial plan provides a critical foundation for understanding information interdependence and highlights the importance of well-designed data collection methods. The findings have significant implications for developing more resilient disaster management strategies in industrial areas, emphasizing the need for precise and relevant stakeholder communication to enhance Area-BCM effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.
