Bibliometric mapping of the research trends on software architecture for e-Health systems

The association between technology and social development is particularly important in the health field, pointing to research in e-Health to optimize health services. This paper aimed to carry out a bibliometric mapping of software architecture for e-Health systems, so an exploratory and descriptive study was performed, with a quantitative approach and based on secondary data from ISI Web of Science. The bibliometric indicators showed 127 different papers in 97 sources, with 16.92 citations per paper and a collaboration index of 4.18 with higher scientific productivity from Europe and North America. Scattered networks of co-citation of the sources and co-occurrence of the keywords were identified, pointing to three main approaches in the research theme, including (i) a managerial view of e-Health systems based on the development of frameworks; (ii) data privacy in health services; (iii) and application of digital technologies, especially Big Data, IoT, Cloud Computing, and Blockchain as corroborated by the word cloud. In addition, for the evaluation of the countries that have the largest number of scientific production and to assess the most used keywords, a descriptive statistical analysis was performed to organize the dataset and to obtain the measures of centrality, dispersion, and frequency. This paper contributes to direct the discussion about software architecture and its multifaceted aspects in the health field, guiding architects and practitioners in their e-Health projects.

Food innovations have become crucial for manufacturing's business performance;however, new food product still has low consumers adoption rate even with extensive of research and new knowledge. While the outcomes of innovation may appear random, but the development of invention is not. Key elements such as managerial strategy, internal collaboration, and resources are complicated to fully understand and manage. An organization should take a systematic and practical approach to comprehend the associated factors for innovation management. innovation management has grown in popularity in study and practice. Despite the rising number of studies on management innovation, there is still a gap in research that combines this body of knowledge, specifically for product innovation for food manufacturing. Therefore, this study undertakes a systematic review of product innovation management for food manufacturing during 1980-2020 to better understand the management of food product innovation. The review concluded the six key success factors of product innovation management for food manufacturing, which are top management, organizational structure and culture, resources (human, finance, technology), process management, collaboration, and environment and market orientation. © 2022 ACM.

Industry 4.0 (I4.0) is a transforming and global phenomenon based on connectivity and improvement of the industrial data usage. I4.0 relies on some technological pillars, such as computer simulation, in order to optimize processes in real time and maximize their efficiency. However, there are uncertainties on how these technologies must be implemented at a strategic, technical, and human capital level. In fact, a gap can be found in scientific literature regarding how different I4.0 technologies will support the automotive electrification process. That said, this paper first provides a comprehensive review of the challenges associated with automotive electrification, which then allows the proposition of a preliminary correlation to I4.0 features, frameworks, and their benefits.

Propranolol hydrochloride can be considered a persistent and bioaccumulative pharmaceutical in the *** drug and its by-products are potentially toxic and have adverse effects,since these compounds have been associated with endocrine-disrupting effects,reproductive deficiencies,embryo abnormalities and pericardial ***_(2)–La 0.05%–carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin(CMCD)nanoparticles were successfully prepared by a simple two-step method,which consists of sonification and *** characterization analyses reveal that lanthanum is dispersed on the semiconductor surface,probably forming Ti–O–La bonds,which can induce oxygen vacancies and surface defects that effectively restrain the recombination of photogenerated electron/holes *** efficiency of TiO_(2)–La 0.05%–CMCD samples in degradation of propranolol under UV-light irradiation is higher than that of pristine TiO_(2) within 20 min reaction,probably due to complex formation between theβ-blocker and the oligosaccharide,which allows us to propose a photocatalytic mechanism based on the formation of intermediates and competition of these compounds to the radicals and CMCD cavities.

This study aims to identify the factors influencing knowledge transfer within companies transitioning from the internal combustion engine (ICE) industry to the electric vehicle (EV) industry through an extensive literature review. In addition to summarizing findings and proposing strategies for utilizing artificial intelligence in knowledge transfer, our framework reveals the relevance of three key knowledge transfer factors and three distinct forms of artificial intelligence, including machine learning, in facilitating knowledge transfer. These insights can prove invaluable to entrepreneurs operating within the internal combustion engine automotive sector, offering essential guidance for enhancing the knowledge transfer process and navigating the transition to the electric vehicle industry. The cannabis industry is facing challenges with the traceability of product standards and regulations, including lack of trust, visibility, and tracking system immutability. Blockchain technology (BCT) is a potential driver of cannabis supply chain traceability for improving the tracking system process, credibility, immutability, and decentralized application of the development process. This research focuses on exploring blockchain-based traceability in supply chain management (SCM) and developing an appropriate model. The findings of this study highlight the various elements involved in cannabis supply chain traceability. A conceptual framework for blockchain-based cannabis traceability in SCM is proposed in this paper, comprising four layers: (I) cannabis supply chain, (II) data interface, (III) traceability system, and (IV) blockchain. This approach can be integrated into the smart contract, consensus algorithm, blockchain application, and digital storage. © 2022 IEEE.

Today's pluralistic and globalized society requires a global perspective in how we think, view ourselves, and relate to others to collaborate successfully with people with different cultural backgrounds. To support the development of a global perspective, universities cultivate international co-operations to enable international mobility for students, faculty, and staff. However, in-person mobility can be inhibited due to various reasons. To support a wider pool of students gaining international experience, modern digital mediated course formats can be used to offer virtual instead of in-person mobility. This contribution evaluates a digital mediated course for mechanical engineering students (Global engineering, GE) held in co-operation between an US and a Portuguese university, where internationally mixed student groups working on design projects in an Hyflex setting. Asides a literature driven discussion about the need for Global Engineers and a detailed description of the GE course, a longitudinal analysis was performed to assess the impact of the GE course on the students' development of a global perspective. The longitudinal analysis showed strong statistical support that the digitally mediated GE course improved the participating students' global perspective, assessed with the Global Perspective Inventory (GPI), tremendously. The observed improvements were in three of the six GPI dimensions comparable to an in-person semester abroad. Limitations of the study and future investigations are discussed. © 2023 IEEE.

International publication trends in Lean Agile management research: a bibliometric analysis

Challenged by complex problems and the speed of technological, social, and environmental change, the joint approach of Lean management and the Agile Mindset has been explored in business as a management model. This paper aimed to carry out a bibliometric analysis of Lean Agile management, pointing out trends in scientific research. To this end, an exploratory and descriptive study was developed, with a quantitative approach and based on secondary data from the Web of Science and Scopus, between 1994 and 2022. Bibliometric indicators pointed to 1808 different papers in 897 sources, with 18 citations per paper, and higher scientific productivity of U.S. (276), India (221), and UK (191), with production peaks in 2018 and 2021, suggesting the diffusion and contemporaneity of the research topic. The laws of bibliometrics were not met for this research subject, and dense networks of collaboration and co-citation among researchers were identified, mainly in four application domains, including supply chain, manufacturing, sustainability, and software development as corroborated by the word network.

Patent has been an increasingly important role in the world because it is not only significant to protect the invention of the company's business but also to generate revenue from the commercialization. WIPO (2018) reports that the repository has many patents so, to assess patent, it consumes time and requires various expertise. Generally, several models have been developed to address this matter, which to assess using a questionnaire tool for portfolios by human. Perhaps, there is not precise because it is assessed base on personal bias or previous experience of expertise. So that, occurs bias any limitation exists that our research will address by artificial intelligence. Thus, this research applies a Natural Language programming to assess for commercial of the patent. Then, the obtained data is used to assigned factors and calculate the model for assessing the commercialization of patent. This finding should deliver an alternative effective patent assessment, which is tool addresses, some current deficiency patent assessment for commercialization. © 2022 PICMET.

Assessment of the impact of Industry 4.0 on the skills of Lean professionals

Manufacturing has evolved over the past few centuries, both in technological and managerial terms; for the latter, Lean Manufacturing (LM) has been widely used to maximize value for customers and minimize waste. The broad use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in manufacturing forms the concept of Industry 4.0 (I4.0), connecting physical and digital systems and integrating value chains. Although with different approaches, LM and I4.0 share the same goals of increasing flexibility and productivity. In fact, two views on their interaction can be extracted from literature: LM serves as a basis for I4.0 and I4.0 improves LM effectiveness. The novelties presented by I4.0 comprise not only the technical scope, but also the behavioral one. It has been unclear, however, how I4.0 affects LM soft practices, especially when it comes to the skills required for Lean professionals to face this new environment. In this regard, this paper addresses the impact of I4.0 on the skills of Lean professionals. One could observe that in addition to technical skills linked to programming and data science, analytical and interpersonal skills make up the sociocultural skills necessary for the professional of the future in the context of I4.0.
