The technique of calculating the work required for software development is known as software development estimation. The objective cost estimating technique for organizing and carrying out Multi Account Partner (MAP) software projects, COCOMO II, was employed in this study. The MAP software is a software architecture designed to support brokerage cryptocurrency exchanges using the order book and liquidity of established crypto exchanges. This research uses data sets from MAP project development at Indonesia Crypto Exchange Platform. It aims to create a software cost estimation model for MAP software using COCOMO II so that the resulting estimation model can be used as input or reference for estimates of subsequent MAP software development. The result estimated that MAP software finished in about four to five months, with a price range for software development of $7,441 to $8,780. Further research is needed with datasets from other crypto exchanges tested to increase cost estimation accuracy using COCOMO II. © 2023 IEEE.

The insurance industry faces a significant challenge concerning insurance claims, particularly due to the prevalence of fraudulent insurance claims. To address this issue, one potential solution is the implementation of a computer-based decision model. This research presents a fuzzy decision model based on object-oriented method development. The study involves seven stages (i.e. case analyzing, parameter analyzing, objects-parameters linking, detail object relation constructing, parameter exchange analyzing, OOFDM constructing, and model verifying and validating), with an object-oriented approach serving as the foundational method for constructing the model, and fuzzy logic as the primary method for assessing claim risks in proposing the best decision. The model has the capability to simulate insurance claims and offers objective decisions based on 19,611 claims data, categorizing them into two decision categories: acceptance and pending. © 2023 IEEE.

Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is useful for converting speech into text. ASR is needed to display automatic subtitles on movies or when conducting video conferencing. The use of deep learning in ASR applications is currently still dominated by Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). Several previous studies used the Transformer deep learning model in building the ASR model. The accuracy results obtained are better than the LSTM or RNN models. However, ASR research using the Transformer model is still very limited. This paper will discuss the use of the Transformer model for ASR in Indonesian. The dataset used is the Indonesian language private speech dataset. The experimental results show that the Word Error Rate (WER) and Character Error Rate (CER) produced by the proposed model using the Indonesian language primary dataset are almost the same as using the English language public dataset where the resulting WER and CER are 27.34 and 7.96 for Indonesian and 25.28 and 6.02 for English. © 2023 IEEE.

Real-world practical systems inherently exhibit non-linearities in their dynamics. Also, it is known that a time-varying delay exists in the system state or input-output. Combined, it affects the stability of the closed-loop system. It also increases the complexity of the controller design. In-depth controller design research on the class of Nonlinear Systems with Time-Varying Delay (NSTVD) has been the focus of the control community for many years. However, there is a lack of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and classifications of the papers on this topic. This paper aims to review controller design utilizing a neural network model for the class of NSTVD systems. The study employs Kitchenham's SLR method to gather, analyze and synthesize published papers from reliable databases between 2017 and 2021. The bibliometric analysis for the selected 38 papers reveals the prolific authors, countries, affiliations, publishers, co-authorship network, co-occurrences of keywords, and ten most-cited papers. Finally, this paper developed a conceptual map outlining six multi-layered findings: the addressed problem, control design method, nonlinear system properties, time-varying delay properties, system constraint properties, and actuator limit properties. A brief qualitative analysis of the ten most-cited papers is performed based on the map. The findings highlighted that the proposed methods have shown encouraging results in the simulation domain and can be used as a source of inspiration for future studies and implementation of the neural controller design of the NSTVD system. © 2023 IEEE.

Visual impairment is a condition that affects the sense of sight. In Indonesia, around 1.5% of the 4 million people are blind. In their daily activities, the visually impaired rely on their sense of touch to recognize the value of money by feeling the double lines on the right and left sides of the rupiah banknote. However, if the money is in bad condition, they are unable to recognize it, so they have to involve the help of others with the risk of fraud. Research is underway to develop a paper currency detection tool to assist the visually impaired in everyday transactions and reduce the risk of fraud. The research in this paper focuses on creating a classification model for detecting Indonesian rupiah banknotes. The method approach used in this research involves using a custom architecture Convolutional Neural Network model that combines elements from the AlexNet and VGGNet architectures, along with the RMSProp Optimizer. Before training the model, the private dataset that has been collected is augmented to increase the dataset and then split data. Next, the model is trained and tested using a private dataset of 800 images of rupiah banknotes for 2016, 2020, and 2022 emissions years, divided into eight classes of banknotes with denominations of IDR 1000, IDR 2000, IDR 5000, IDR 10,000, IDR 20,000, IDR 50,000, IDR 75,000, and IDR 100,000. Finally, the model's performance is evaluated using loss function, accuracy, precision, recall, and AUC-ROC evaluation metrics. The model evaluation results show a value loss function of 1.28, an accuracy of 95.31 %, a precision of 95.24%, a recall of 93.75%, and an AUC-ROC value of 0.99. This evaluation result indicates that the model is highly effective for use in the rupiah currency nominal detection system for the visually impaired. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, many people are starting to care about early investment. One of the most popular investments lately, especially for millennials, is a stock investment. In investing, there are advantages and risks of loss. One way to reduce the risk of loss is by using price predictions before investing in stocks. This paper proposes the use of deep learning in making stock predictions. We conducted research by calculating the performance of six deep-learning algorithms to predict stock closing prices. The application of the CNN-LSTM-GRU hybrid algorithm combination produces the best performance compared to other methods, based on the value: Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) decreased by 1.100 by 14%, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) was successfully reduced by 0.798 by 13.4%, and R Square increased by 0.957 by 3.9%. In predicting stock prices on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, especially in the energy sector, CNN-LSTM-GRU is more appropriate for investors than using a single algorithm to make decisions in investing in stocks.. © 2023 IEEE.

Because financial time series forecasting is sensitive to political, economic, and social factors, it is not a simple task. As a result, those who make investments in currency exchange and financial markets typically search for reliable models that can guarantee they will maximize their profile and minimize their losses. Fortunately, many studies have used a method from Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) called Backpropagation, could improve the predictive accuracy of the behavior of the financial data over time. This paper aims to forecast stock share prediction from closing value of PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk, and PT. Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk. The results show that the using Backpropagation gives the closest result. And for the rating of judgement for cast accuracy, it exceeded 10% accuracy, which means high accurate from the prediction. For further checking, comparing the results of research from Victor's results, it almost hits the same accuracy percentage. Which means, these prediction are accurate enough to do time series forecasting. © 2023 IEEE.

The matching and linear matroid intersection problems are solvable in quasi-NC, meaning that there exist deterministic algorithms that run in polylogarithmic time and use quasi-polynomially many parallel processors. However, such a parallel algorithm is unknown for linear matroid matching, which generalizes both of these problems. In this work, we propose a quasi-NC algorithm for fractional linear matroid matching, which is a relaxation of linear matroid matching and commonly generalizes fractional matching and linear matroid intersection. Our algorithm builds upon the connection of fractional matroid matching to non-commutative Edmonds' problem recently revealed by Oki and Soma (2023). The characteristics of the disease that spreads quickly, the number of sufferers, and the severity of sufferers of Coronavirus Disease 2019 are components of uncertainty during the pandemic. In an uncertain situation, prediction models for the need for drugs and medical devices are of great concern to policymakers in government, drug manufacturers, distributors, and pharmaceutical installation managers to maintain drug availability. Drug need prediction models that rely on historical data components on drug use are no longer reliable. Learning from the COVID-19 case, epidemiological variables correlate with predicting drug demand. This research includes data on ten major diseases in private hospital units for 2017-2022 to complete historical data on drug use. This study implements the Random Forest algorithm. The research method uses literature studies and processing field data from pharmaceutical installations. The analysis process uses KNIME software. The level of accuracy in predicting drug demand from historical drug use data was 77.272%, increasing to 81.818% with a model for predicting drug demand based on consumption cycles and classification of drug therapy groups. Furthermore, predictions of drug demand can consider variables recorded in medical records related to the seasonal frequency of diseases. © 2023 IEEE.

Motivation. Short DNA sequences of length k that appear in a single location (e.g., at a single genomic position, in a single species from a larger set of species, etc.) are called unique k-mers. They are useful for placing sequenced DNA fragments at the correct location without computing alignments and without ambiguity. However, they are not necessarily robust: A single basepair change may turn a unique k-mer into a different one that may in fact be present at one or more different locations, which may give confusing or contradictory information when attempting to place a read by its k-mer content. A more robust concept are strongly unique k-mers, i.e., unique k-mers for which no Hamming-distance-1 neighbor with conflicting information exists in all of the considered sequences. Given a set of k-mers, it is therefore of interest to have an efficient method that can distinguish k-mers with a Hamming-distance-1 neighbor in the collection from those that do not. Results. We present engineered algorithms to identify and mark within a set K of (canonical) k-mers all elements that have a Hamming-distance-1 neighbor in the same set. One algorithm is based on recursively running a 4-way comparison on sub-intervals of the sorted set. The other algorithm is based on bucketing and running a pairwise bit-parallel Hamming distance test on small buckets of the sorted set. Both methods consider canonical k-mers (i.e., taking reverse complements into account) and allow for efficient parallelization. The methods have been implemented and applied in practice to sets consisting of several billions of k-mers. An optimized combined approach running with 16 threads on a 16-core workstation, yields wall-clock running times below 20 seconds on the 2.5 billion distinct 31-mers of the human telomere-to-telomere reference genome.
