In 2023, we proposed a hypothetical knowledge management framework that incorporates science fiction prototyping (SFP) into the traditional roadmapping (RM) method to make RM more innovative and create a future beyond what we can currently imagine. Our main objective is to create a new organizational knowledge co-creation method for generating innovative ideas by incorporating humanistic factors utilizing SFP into RM. In the current article, we present the exploratory study we conducted to examine the hypothetical framework. Experimental workshops were held in November 2023 to compare the integrated method, in which SFP is applied to RM, with the original RM method. We followed a crossover design in the workshops and analyzed the results qualitatively and quantitatively following the perspectives proposed in the hypothetical framework. The qualitative analysis revealed successful integration regarding diverse and broader perspectives. The quantitative analysis utilizing Wilcoxon signed rank tests showed that the scores of the integrated method were significantly higher than those of RM for variables evaluating the effectiveness of the integration, while not for variables related to participants' feelings and satisfaction with the workshops, and sustainability. These findings indicate that the integration was successful in terms of its effectiveness as a method, while participants' subjective feelings toward the workshops were not different in both methods. As for sustainability, which requires a long-term perspective, no apparent differences were observed in these short-term workshops. © 2024 PICMET.

The security of digital images is an essential and challenging task on shared communication Model. Generally, high secure working environment and data are also secured with an encryption and decryption method by using secret and public keys. In this paper, the innovative encryption technique for image security, ie, Multiple key-based Homomorphic Encryption (MHE) technique is proposed. For increasing the security level of encryption and decryption processes, the optimal key is selected using Adaptive Whale Optimization (AWO) algorithm. Fitness function was considered for optimization as PSNR of plain and cipher images. The original image was transformed into blocks and then rearranged utilizing encryption process, this work achieved maximum security, much better than other encryption techniques. From the outcomes, one can achieve incredible quality of the proposed model, the maximum PSNR, and the minimum MSE contrasted with other encryption schemes. © 2018 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

I-DCOP: Train Classification Based on an Iterative Process Using Distributed Constraint Optimization

This paper presents an iterative process based on Distributed Constraint Optimization (I-DCOP), to solve train classification problems. The input of the I-DCOP is the train classification problem modelled as a DCOP, named Optimization Model for Train Classification (OMTC). OMTC generates a feasible schedule for a train classification problem defined by the inbound trains, the total of outbound trains and the cars assigned to them. The expected result, named feasible schedule, leads to the correct formation of the outbound trains, based on the order criteria defined. The OMTC also minimizes the schedule execution time and the total number of roll-ins (operation executed on cars, sometimes charged by the yards). I-DCOP extends the OMTC including the constraints of limited amount of classification tracks ant their capacity. However, these constraints are included iteratively by adding domain restrictions on the OMTC. Both OMTC and I-DCOP have been measured using scenarios based on real yard data. OMTC has generated optimal and feasible schedules to the scenarios, optimizing the total number of roll-ins. I-DCOP solved more complex scenarios, providing sub-optimal solutions. The experiments have shown that distributed constraint optimization problems can include additional constraints based on interactively defined domain.

Autism Spectrum Disorder is a pervasive developmental disorder that will affect children in terms of interpersonal communication, social interaction, and imaginative levels in play. Many therapies to help the motor neuron performance is one of them Pretend Play. Pretend Play is a therapy that invites children in playing to demonstrate something else and tell how to use objects that are considered in the child's imagination. However, in the era of highly developed technology, many fields have used the Augmented Reality method as a visualization of various aspects. With this method researchers will present the therapeutic visualization of the block to 3D transportation tool that is useful for strengthening motor nerves and visual strength of the child. The system can run well during marker detection, marker movement, and 3D object display with the accuracy of precision angle and distance between virtual world with real world reach 100% with angle 0 at distance 31 cm and the maximum distance from the marker is 46 cm and the maximum angle is 30. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Computer and web security system is an attempt to avoid attacks from crackers because a form and method of crime on internet network can not be predicted. Therefore, we just keep trying to use various methods in securing the system that is running. It is the same in web testing that can be accessed online by people who are not responsible from along distance to change and remove the test results or even damage the web testing system. So, the purpose of this paper is to design and implement web security testing system by using semantic comparison method to avoid structured query language injection (SQLI) attack and to do security on web testing application using Message Digest 5 encryption (MD5). Research data were obtained by using direct observation and documentation and literature review. After the design and application of the system, it can be obtained that by using semantic comparison method in web testing can prevent the occurrence of SQL injection attacks and can secure account from web testing users by using MD5. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

At the Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe determining accident-prone areas on roads in Lhokseumawe still using manual systems. Determination of accident-prone areas are less effective because the police Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe just using the data of the last year and had to repeatedly calculate manually accident-prone areas based on the number of human casualties. In this study the system implementation CUSUM method (Cummulative Summary) to determine the accident-prone areas designed using the web-based programming language PHP. In this system there are three processes to determine areas prone to accidents, the accident rate calculations based on the weighted severity, blacksite calculations using the Z-Score method for determining areas prone to accident blackspots and calculations using the CUSUM method to determine the critical points of an accident. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Police Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe years 2009-2013. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Computing systems have been playing an important role in various medical fields, notably in image diagnosis. Studies in the field of Computational Vision aim at developing techniques and systems capable of detecting various illnesses automatically. What has been highlighted among the existing exams that allow diagnosis aid and the application of computing systems in parallel is Computed Tomography (CT). CT enables the visualization of internal organs, such as the lung and its structures. Computational Vision systems extract information from the CT images by segmenting the regions of interest, and then recognize and identify details in those images. This work focuses on the segmentation phase of CT lung images with singularity-based techniques. Among these methods are the region growing (RG) technique and its 3D RG variations and the thresholding technique with multi-thresholding. The 3D RG method is applied to lung segmentation and from the 3D RG segments of the lung hilum, the multi-thresholding can segment the blood vessels, lung emphysema and the bones. The results of lung segmentation in this work were evaluated by two pulmonologists. The results obtained showed that these methods can integrate aid systems for medical diagnosis in the pulmonology field.

Based on the formulation of the problem to be discussed by the writer is to know: the influence of 0.4 mm spark gap variation, and standard spark plug type, to CO and HC, the influence of 0.5 mm spark plug gap variation, and variation of platinum spark plug on CO and HC, influence of spark gap variation 0,6mm, and variation of iridium spark plug type to CO and HC emission Method used to obtain data needed to support the writer that is research method with experiment, literature study method or literature study The result of this research concludes that there is spark gap influence 0.4 mm, with variations of standard plug, platinum and iridium spark plugs against CO and HC emissions, where the lowest CO value is 0.27% and HC 98 ppm, 0.5 mm spark plug with lowest CO 0.15% and HC 46 ppm, 0.6 mm spark plug gap the lowest CO value of 0.19% and HC 24 ppm. 8-Hydroxyquinoline (8HQ) compounds have been reported to possess diverse bioactivities. In recent years, drug repositioning has gained considerable attention in drug discovery and development. Herein, 8HQ (1) and its derivatives (2-9) bearing various substituents (amino, nitro, cyano and halogen) were investigated for their antimicrobial against 27 microorganisms (agar dilution method) and antioxidant (DPPH method) activities. The parent 8HQ (1) exerted a highly potent antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria including diploid fungi and yeast with MIC values in the range of 3.44-13.78 μM. Moreover, the halogenated 8HQ, especially 7-bromo-8HQ (4) and clioquinol (6), displayed a high antigrowth activity against Gram-negative bacteria compared with the parent compound (1). Apparently, the derivatives with a relatively high safely index, e.g., nitroxoline (2), exhibited strong antibacterial activity against Aeromonas hydrophila (MIC=5.26 μM) and selectively inhibited the growth of P. aeruginosa with the MIC value of 84.14 μM;cloxyquin (3) showed a strong activity against L. monocytogenes and P. shigelloides with MIC values of 5.57 and 11.14 μM, respectively. Most compounds displayed an antioxidant activity. Specifically, 5-amino-8HQ (8) was shown to be the most potent antioxidant (IC₅₀=8.70 μM) compared with the positive control (α-tocopherol) with IC₅₀ of 13.47 μM. The findings reveal that 8HQ derivatives are potential candidates to be further developed as antimicrobial and antioxidant agents. © 2016 The Authors.

This Emotions play a significant role in determining human behavior, including the involvement and motivation of students, in the learning process. A digital game have become an important option, as a pedagogical tool, for the development of skills currently required for the insertion of an individual in labor market. This paper reports a research on a computational architecture, based on the techniques and methods of Learning Analytics, to assist educators, who use digital games as pedagogical tools, in assessing the impacts of a player's emotional states on his motivation to play and, consequently, in their learning. Such architecture aims to identify data on players' emotional states, through their facial expressions, and cross them with data on the players `actions, game events or states, which can evidence their learning. A deep learning neural network is used in the identification of the playerś facial expressions, through images of the faces of the students playing. The capture of these images is done by a webcam, installed on the computer where the game is playing, which is triggered by an intelligent software agent, according to pre-established conditions. This intelligent software agent also captures the data about the learning evidences. A software module, to analyze learning and the possible impacts of players' emotional states on their learning, completes the proposed computational architecture. The work was developed in the discipline on digital games applied to education in a postgraduate course in Computer Science.
