This study investigates the structural, mechanical, and electronic properties of novel two-dimensional (2D) pentaoctite (PO) monolayers composed of group-IV elements (PO-C, PO-Si, PO-Ge, and PO-Sn) using first-principles calculations. Stability is explored through phonon spectra and ab initio molecular dynamics simulations, confirming that all proposed structures are dynamically and thermally stable. Mechanical analysis shows that PO-C monolayers exhibit exceptional rigidity, while the others demonstrate greater flexibility, making them suitable for applications in foldable materials. The electronic properties show semimetallic behavior for PO-C and metallic behavior for PO-Si, while PO-Ge and PO-Sn possess narrow band gaps, positioning them as promising candidates for semiconductor applications. Additionally, PO-C exhibits potential as an efficient catalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), with strain engineering further enhancing its catalytic performance. These findings suggest a wide range of technological applications, from nanoelectronics and nanomechanics to metal-free catalysis in sustainable energy production. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

Technological developments in the current era make use of various media for learning. Learning media can facilitate and support practical activities to improve skills, one of which is by using video tutorial media because the video tutorials show the natural form of real objects to follow the instructions easily. This initial research aims to determine the need to develop video tutorial media used by teachers and students in the learning process to assemble computers at the Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta vocational high school. This study used a descriptive-qualitative method by conducting interviews with one teacher and distributing needs analysis questionnaires to 30 students of class X TKJ as research subjects. The results obtained from the statement questionnaire given to students, 93% agreed to develop a video tutorial to facilitate understanding of the material to assemble a computer used for independent or group study wherever and whenever. This research can be used as a criterion for developing instructional media for video tutorials following the material's characteristics for assembling computers.

Autism Spectrum Disorder is a pervasive developmental disorder that will affect children in terms of interpersonal communication, social interaction, and imaginative levels in play. Many therapies to help the motor neuron performance is one of them Pretend Play. Pretend Play is a therapy that invites children in playing to demonstrate something else and tell how to use objects that are considered in the child's imagination. However, in the era of highly developed technology, many fields have used the Augmented Reality method as a visualization of various aspects. With this method researchers will present the therapeutic visualization of the block to 3D transportation tool that is useful for strengthening motor nerves and visual strength of the child. The system can run well during marker detection, marker movement, and 3D object display with the accuracy of precision angle and distance between virtual world with real world reach 100% with angle 0 at distance 31 cm and the maximum distance from the marker is 46 cm and the maximum angle is 30˚.

At the Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe determining accident-prone areas on roads in Lhokseumawe still using manual systems. Determination of accident-prone areas are less effective because the police Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe just using the data of the last year and had to repeatedly calculate manually accident-prone areas based on the number of human casualties. In this study the system implementation CUSUM method (Cummulative Summary) to determine the accident-prone areas designed using the web-based programming language PHP. In this system there are three processes to determine areas prone to accidents, the accident rate calculations based on the weighted severity, blacksite calculations using the Z-Score method for determining areas prone to accident blackspots and calculations using the CUSUM method to determine the critical points of an accident. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Police Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe years 2009-2013.

We generated electro magnetic transients with a frequency content up to the terahertz regime from Co 2 Fe 0.4 Mn 0.6 Si Heusler alloy/heavy-metal bilayers by excitation with fs-laser pulses. We ascribe the generation process to the inverse spin Hall effect. We compared our results with ferromagnetic resonance measurements to investigate the efficiency of interfacial spin currents. We observed that the efficiency of the THz radiation can be described by the spin-orbit coupling, nonetheless the interface properties play an important role.

Computer and web security system is an attempt to avoid attacks from crackers because a form and method of crime on internet network can not be predicted. Therefore, we just keep trying to use various methods in securing the system that is running. It is the same in web testing that can be accessed online by people who are not responsible from along distance to change and remove the test results or even damage the web testing system. So, the purpose of this paper is to design and implement web security testing system by using semantic comparison method to avoid structured query language injection (SQLI) attack and to do security on web testing application using Message Digest 5 encryption (MD5). Research data were obtained by using direct observation and documentation and literature review. After the design and application of the system, it can be obtained that by using semantic comparison method in web testing can prevent the occurrence of SQL injection attacks and can secure account from web testing users by using MD5.

Effect of Types and Gap on Spark Plugs on Exhaust Emissions on the 110CC Double Wheel Vehicles and Its Dissemination Using Website

Based on the formulation of the problem to be discussed by the writer is to know: the influence of 0.4 mm spark gap variation, and standard spark plug type, to CO and HC, the influence of 0.5 mm spark plug gap variation, and variation of platinum spark plug on CO and HC, influence of spark gap variation 0,6mm, and variation of iridium spark plug type to CO and HC emission Method used to obtain data needed to support the writer that is research method with experiment, literature study method or literature study The result of this research concludes that there is spark gap influence 0.4 mm, with variations of standard plug, platinum and iridium spark plugs against CO and HC emissions, where the lowest CO value is 0.27% and HC 98 ppm, 0.5 mm spark plug with lowest CO 0.15% and HC 46 ppm, 0.6 mm spark plug gap the lowest CO value of 0.19% and HC 24 ppm. The results of this research will be disseminated using the website
