The utilization of data warehouses in various fields is an absolute necessity. A data warehouse is a database that contains large amounts of data that aims to help organizations, fields, and institutions specifically for decision making. Data warehouses can produce important information in the future. Loading data from various sources and processed through an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process that displays data consistently is the basis for creating a data warehouse architecture. The development of a data warehouse in education will provide significant benefits for the progress of education. Integration of data and processing results stored in the data warehouse can be the basis for evaluating better planning. Development of data warehouse adopt the multidimensional modelling method which consists of four stages: select the business process, declare the grain, select dimensions, and identify facts. This stage produces a data warehouse architecture and influences and contributes to the advanced information technology in education.

Global warming arising from climate change can increase the spread of deadly diseases. Effort is needed to develop a set of policies for the government to stem or reduce health risks from global warming. The purpose of this paper is to examine more detail and comprehensively about the relationship among climate and event disease count in Taiwan using the partial least square latent regression model. The results obtained that of the 17 types of diseases in Taiwan, that has the most significant loading factor is Amoebiasis, Malaria and Chikungunya. At the same time, climate variables that have the biggest most significant factor are Number day with max temp more than 30, Number day Temp more than 25, and Rainfall PH. Cronbach’s Alpha infectious disease 0.9696 and climate 0.2813. At the same time, the value of Dillon Goldstein’s rho infectious disease 0.974 and climate 0.6404, respectively.

The palm oil business employs almost 20 million people, generates USD 21 billion in revenue, and plays a vital role in Indonesia’s social economy. The Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) to Palm Oil Mills (POM) distribution system is one important aspect of fruit quality. Three steps are involved in getting Oil Palm FFB from the plantation to the POM. The first part of the procedure involves cutting FFB from the tree, the second stage involves gathering the fruit at a fruit collection point (FCP), and the third stage involves transporting the fruit to the palm oil mill (POM). As of now, the cost of the FFB transportation is still considerable, accounting for roughly 15% to 20% of the FFB pricing. The use of the Business Intelligence (BI) idea in the oil palm harvesting system is presented in this study as a foundation for creating web-based applications.

The interplay between thermodynamics and information theory has a long history, but its quantitative manifestations are still being explored. We import tools from expected utility theory from economics into stochastic thermodynamics. We prove that, in a process obeying Crooks’ fluctuation relations, every α Rényi divergence between the forward process and its reverse has the operational meaning of the "certainty equivalent" of dissipated work (or, more generally, of entropy production) for a player with risk aversion r = α−1. The two known cases α = 1 and α = ∞ are recovered and receive the new interpretation of being associated to a risk-neutral and an extreme risk-averse player respectively. Among the new results, the condition for α = 0 describes the behavior of a risk-seeking player willing to bet on the transient violations of the second law. Our approach further leads to a generalized Jarzynski equality, and generalizes to a broader class of statistical divergences. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Background: To evaluate the effect of the weighting of input imaging combo and ADC threshold on the performance of the U-Net and to find an optimized input imaging combo and ADC threshold in segmenting acute ischemic stroke (AIS) lesion. Methods: This study retrospectively enrolled a total of 212 patients having AIS. Four combos, including ADC-ADC-ADC (AAA), DWI-ADC-ADC (DAA), DWI-DWI-ADC (DDA), and DWI-DWI-DWI (DDD), were used as input images, respectively. Three ADC thresholds including 0.6, 0.8 and 1.8 × 10^–3 mm²/s were applied. Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) was used to evaluate the segmentation performance of U-Nets. Nonparametric Kruskal–Wallis test with Tukey–Kramer post-hoc tests were used for comparison. A p <.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The DSC significantly varied among different combos of images and different ADC thresholds. Hybrid U-Nets outperformed uniform U-Nets at ADC thresholds of 0.6 × 10^–3 mm²/s and 0.8 × 10^–3 mm²/s (p <.001). The U-Net with imaging combo of DDD had segmentation performance similar to hybrid U-Nets at an ADC threshold of 1.8 × 10^–3 mm²/s (p =.062 to 1). The U-Net using the imaging combo of DAA at the ADC threshold of 0.6 × 10^–3 mm²/s achieved the highest DSC in the segmentation of AIS lesion. Conclusions: The segmentation performance of U-Net for AIS varies among the input imaging combos and ADC thresholds. The U-Net is optimized by choosing the imaging combo of DAA at an ADC threshold of 0.6 × 10^–3 mm²/s in segmentating AIS lesion with highest DSC. Nowadays, current video coding standards like the High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) implement several complex coding tools, like the Fractional Motion Estimation (FME). An alternative to improve performance and save power is allying the hardware acceleration with approximate computing solutions, focusing on such complex tools. In this work, we present a low-power and memory-aware hardware architecture for the HEVC FME interpolator, proposing the development of two novel hardware designs for the interpolation filters, called Approximate Unified FME Filters (AUFF). These solutions exploit the usage of approximate computing at both algorithmic and data levels, leading to a reduction in dissipated power and memory bandwidth. The proposed design is capable of real-time interpolation of UHD (Ultra High Definition) 4K and 8K videos when synthesized using a 40 nm standard-cell library, with a power dissipation ranging from 22.04 to 62.06 mW.

This full paper presents the Multi-Agent Recommendation System for Recommending Accessible Learning Objects developed to attend students with disabilities and professors' computation area. The system was proposed based on the qualitative analysis of the questionnaires applied and answered by the professors of the area, to classify, organize and provide the most appropriate Learning Objects according to professors' preferences. In this way, the professor informs the type of impairment (visual, physical, hearing and/or cognitive), discipline and content, based on these requirements, receives the best recommendations of the intelligent agent. The methodology that we use is Multiagent Systems Engineering. The web page was developed using the Laravel Framework PHP, the data repository was created using the MySQL database, and to perform the implementation we used the Java Agent Development Framework. As a result of the research, we present a recommendation system of accessible learning objects using intelligent agents and communities of practice through the recommendation mechanism based on trust. The results obtained through the implementation of the system provide a new motivational practice trough accessible educational content, which contributes significantly to the teaching-learning process of the computation course and to inclusive education.

Massive infrared dark clouds (IRDCs) are considered to host the earliest stages of high-mass star formation. In particular, 70 μm dark IRDCs are the colder and more quiescent clouds. At a scale of about 5000 au using formaldehyde (H₂CO) emission, we investigate the kinetic temperature of dense cores in 12 IRDCs obtained from the pilot Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array Survey of 70 μm dark High-mass clumps in Early Stages (ASHES). Compared to the 1.3 mm dust continuum and other molecular lines, such as C¹⁸O and deuterated species, we find that H₂CO is mainly sensitive to low-velocity outflow components rather than to quiescent gas expected in the early phases of star formation. The kinetic temperatures of these components range from 26 to 300 K. The Mach number reaches about 15 with an average value of about 4, suggesting that the velocity distribution of gas traced by H₂CO is significantly influenced by a supersonic nonthermal component. In addition, we detect warm line emission from HC₃N and OCS in 14 protostellar cores, which requires high excitation temperatures (E _u/k ∼ 100 K). These results show that some of the embedded cores in the ASHES fields are in an advanced evolutionary stage, previously unexpected for 70 μm dark IRDCs. © 2024. The Author(s). Fragmentation during the early stages of high-mass star formation is crucial for understanding the formation of high-mass clusters. We investigated fragmentation within 39 high-mass star-forming clumps as part of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array Survey of 70 μm Dark High-mass Clumps in Early Stages (ASHES) survey. Considering projection effects, we have estimated core separations for 839 cores identified from the continuum emission and found mean values between 0.08 and 0.32 pc within each clump. We find compatibility of the observed core separations and masses with the thermal Jeans length and mass, respectively. We also present subclump structures revealed by the 7 m array continuum emission. Comparison of the Jeans parameters using clump and subclump densities with the separation and masses of gravitationally bound cores suggests that they can be explained by clump fragmentation, implying the simultaneous formation of subclumps and cores within rather than a step-by-step hierarchical fragmentation. The number of cores in each clump positively correlates with the clump surface density and the number expected from the thermal Jeans fragmentation. We also find that the higher the fraction of protostellar cores, the larger the dynamic range of the core mass, implying that the cores are growing in mass as the clump evolves. The ASHES sample exhibits various fragmentation patterns: aligned, scattered, clustered, and subclustered. Using the Q -parameter, which can help distinguish between centrally condensed and subclustered spatial core distributions, we finally find that in the early evolutionary stages of high-mass star formation, cores tend to follow a subclustered distribution. © 2024. Autism Spectrum Disorder is a pervasive developmental disorder that will affect children in terms of interpersonal communication, social interaction, and imaginative levels in play. Many therapies to help the motor neuron performance is one of them Pretend Play. Pretend Play is a therapy that invites children in playing to demonstrate something else and tell how to use objects that are considered in the child's imagination. However, in the era of highly developed technology, many fields have used the Augmented Reality method as a visualization of various aspects. With this method researchers will present the therapeutic visualization of the block to 3D transportation tool that is useful for strengthening motor nerves and visual strength of the child. The system can run well during marker detection, marker movement, and 3D object display with the accuracy of precision angle and distance between virtual world with real world reach 100% with angle 0 at distance 31 cm and the maximum distance from the marker is 46 cm and the maximum angle is 30. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
