Minimizing time wastage is a crucial objective for all production operations. Reliable manufacturing scheduling The objective is to mitigate time-based production waste caused by excessive processing, waiting, and transportation. Industry 4.0 promotes technological innovation across all industrial sectors to increase efficiency and effectiveness while preserving high competitiveness. The implementation of artificial intelligence in Industry 4.0 is expected to result in a reduction in time wastage. Non-dominance sequencing genetic algorithms (NSGA), genetic algorithms (GA), and evolutionary algorithms (EA) are the three most common scheduling approaches, according to literature-indexed research summaries from the past five years. The examination of production scheduling in the flexible packaging business, which involves the utilization of different machines and processes and is produced on demand, had not been conducted before in this study. A mathematical scheduling model will be developed in this research to ascertain the shortest production time span in the flexible packaging industry. As a form of technological innovation, this mathematical model will be utilized in experiments employing a genetic algorithm approach. For the genetic algorithm to generate a minimum makespan in the flexible packaging industry's production scheduling process. © 2023 IEEE.

Demand fluctuation is a critical factor in the everyday operating choices made by a restaurant. The aim of this study is to investigate menu demand forecasting in restaurants using Multiple Regression and Support Vector Regression Machine (SVR) algorithms to forecast potential visitors and menu demand using point-of-sale (POS) data. A model for predicting store-specific demand is proposed that takes into account variables such as seasonality, public holidays, and order peak times. The model's verification using fundamental restaurant data demonstrates that SVR will produce a percentage error of as low as 14.84 percent when forecasting restaurant guests and 31.2 percent when predicting restaurant menu demand. The results demonstrate that this approach is practical for forecasting revenue and consumer counts, as well as demonstrating that managers will learn about the variables that influence customer behaviors. There are extensive discussions and suggestions for potential studies on predicting and planning management in chain restaurant operations. © 2021 IEEE.

Blockchain, Metaverse & NFT are technologies that were booming during the Pandemic. As a derivative product of blockchain, the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is one of the technologies that has attracted the most interest from investors and the public because of its potential benefits and has always been closely associated with the Metaverse as a main purposes research of the NFTs. This paper is to explore the possibilities and provide an overview of the current use of NFT technology so that it can provide insight for further research & gap with the big picture that it is trying to present in this paper. However, after exploring further related to NFT in this research, it was found that the problem that most people are trying to solve through NFT is related to the topic of Decentralization & Web3 not as a Metaverse main backbone. © 2023 IEEE.

Agriculture has long been recognized as pivotal to economic development, offering avenues to alleviate poverty, foster prosperity, and sustainably meet the food demands of a burgeoning global population projected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050. However, persistent inefficiencies within agricultural supply chains, particularly in sectors like rice production, pose formidable challenges. Addressing these inefficiencies is imperative to avert a surge in hunger and malnutrition. Failure to do so could condemn 815 million people to hunger and leave 3 out of 10 individuals malnourished. Thus, investigating solutions to enhance the resilience of rice supply chains is paramount. This research endeavors to identify and analyze challenges inherent in tracing the rice supply chain, offering a conceptual model proposal as a potential remedy. Employing a methodology centered on scholarly discourse and extensive literature review, our study reveals various impediments facing rice commodity supply chains in Indonesia. Furthermore, this study leverages blockchain technology, specifically the Sawtooth Hyperledger platform, to streamline the tracing process for rice commodities and rationalize the supply chain by reducing intermediary actors. From the proposed model, there is great hope that it can provide implications for the rice supply chain to run more efficiently.

Real-world practical systems inherently exhibit non-linearities in their dynamics. Also, it is known that a time-varying delay exists in the system state or input-output. Combined, it affects the stability of the closed-loop system. It also increases the complexity of the controller design. In-depth controller design research on the class of Nonlinear systems with Time-Varying Delay (NSTVD) has been the focus of the control community for many years. However, there is a lack of systematic Literature Review (SLR) and classifications of the papers on this topic. This paper aims to review controller design utilizing a neural network model for the class of NSTVD systems. The study employs Kitchenham’s SLR method to gather, analyze and synthesize published papers from reliable databases between 2017 and 2021. The bibliometric analysis for the selected 38 papers reveals the prolific authors, countries, affiliations, publishers, co-authorship network, co-occurrences of keywords, and ten most-cited papers. Finally, this paper developed a conceptual map outlining six multi-layered findings: the addressed problem, control design method, nonlinear system properties, time-varying delay properties, system constraint properties, and actuator limit properties. A brief qualitative analysis of the ten most-cited papers is performed based on the map. The findings highlighted that the proposed methods have shown encouraging results in the simulation domain and can be used as a source of inspiration for future studies and implementation of the neural controller design of the NSTVD system.

Courier services are a means of transport that can be used to deliver orders to customers or claim orders from them, and customers can use technology from the courier service like track order to track their order. The use of courier service nowadays is common that every day, people use courier service as their daily means of transport for delivering goods. However, in situations like pandemic, the courier services need to put more effort into their services, so that customers can use courier services with trust. The courier service must be more careful to deliver customer orders or send orders to customers. For this research methodology, the data collection technique using Google Forms and collecting data directly from people about their opinion toward the research have been employed. The result of the data collecting technique is depicted as the usage of the courier service during COVID-19 pandemic starting from March 2020. The results vary every month because not everyone uses the courier service every day. Moreover, the conclusion on why the months starting from March to June do not show high usage of courier service is that the pandemic has not been that worse than the later months, and so, people were going out to deliver or to do activities like shopping or buying groceries on their own. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Personalised Integrated Healthcare Monitoring system (PIHMS) has received major attention from the healthcare industry. With large population and strong growth of Indonesian middle class, PIHMS is certainly a big market for major healthcare providers. Although Indonesia has strong growth of middle-class, ironically, it is not supported with adequate physician ratio. Indonesian Ministry of Health (MoH) reported in 2020 the ratio of physicians per 1.000 patients is 0,62, far below WHO standard. As consequence, many Indonesian patients prefer to go abroad to have better healthcare services. The article supports the government's initiative to develop PIHM design by implementing IoT devices and blockchain networks. The use of PIHMS is essential to reach large patients that spread in remote areas, that suits to Indonesian condition. The article proposes PIHM based on blockchain solution (MedDApp) that enables to utilise IoT devices to carry out remote monitoring and medical consultation. The article examines the use of blockchain architecture to support developing data interchange between patients, healthcare providers and third parties such insurances and ministry of health (MoH). Data gatherings from respective stakeholders from Data and information Centre division (Pusdatin), MoH and state-own hospitals to support developing smart health care architecture (MedDApp). The MedDApp design is expected to provide secure access between patients with healthcare professionals and third parties (national insurance companies and researchers in MoH). The outcome of the article is expected to be used as a reference for major healthcare providers to provide better services for their large patients.

Typhoid fever is an endemic disease that burdens Indonesia and has a potentially fatal infection multisystem. Salmonella typhi bacterium is responsible for typhoid fever disease. Poor sanitation, crowding, and slums are the main factors of increasing typhoid fever incidences. Environmental factors directly connected to meteorological factors are the main factor in breeding the Salmonella typhi bacterium. This study aims to identify the correlation between meteorological parameters and typhoid fever disease occurrence. The study was carried out in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the Bureau of Meteorological, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) provided the meteorological parameter data. In addition, the Jakarta health surveillance office provided information on typhoid fever hospitalizations from 2019 to 2021. Pearson's concept was utilized d to investigate the correlation between typhoid fever incidences and the meteorological parameters. Humidity, precipitation, and wind speed are the meteorological parameters that significantly affect in contribute to the occurrence of typhoid fever disease. These findings might be used as a reference for Indonesia's government in making public policy to prevent typhoid fever in Indonesia.

The 2011 flood in Thailand exposed significant vulnerabilities in industrial areas, highlighting the necessity for enhanced disaster risk management through Area-Business Continuity Management (Area-BCM). This preliminary study focuses on identifying how stakeholders rely on information from each other to improve disaster preparedness and response. The research involves systematically identifying Area-BCM stakeholders and designing interview questions, which are evaluated by experts using the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) to ensure relevance and clarity. All interview questions surpassed the IOC threshold of 0.5, confirming their effectiveness in capturing information interdependencies. Expert feedback led to refinements in the questions, underscoring the importance of tailored data collection. This initial plan provides a critical foundation for understanding information interdependence and highlights the importance of well-designed data collection methods. The findings have significant implications for developing more resilient disaster management strategies in industrial areas, emphasizing the need for precise and relevant stakeholder communication to enhance Area-BCM effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.
