To increase profitability, airlines are starting to focus on generating revenue not only from ticket sales, but also from the sale of ancillary products. The research focuses only on ancillary seat upgrade products and aims to create a Machine Learning (ML) model to predict economy class passengers who are likely to accept a seat upgrade offer to business class based on historical data on seat upgrade offers received by airline passengers in the 2023 period. The challenge faced in developing a Machine Learning Prediction model is that the number of passengers who take the upgrade offer and those who do not take it is very unbalanced. In previous literature, most investigations covered European, United Kingdom, China routes, most of which use hub and spoke route networks, while in this research try to fill this gap, especially for airlines operating in Indonesia that have domestic routes and use a point to point route network model. The background of domestic routes is the object of research because 80% of the routes flown are domestic routes between cities in Indonesia, and the top 10 routes that contribute the most to ancillary seat upgrade sales are also domestic routes. To build the model, the author uses machine learning for classification, which is combined with Feature Engineering, Data Balancing and Data Dimension Reduction Techniques. Based on an empirical analysis of a historical dataset of passengers who upgraded their seats, it was found that the best combination was provided by Random Forest, PCA, and Stratified Sampling to predict Indonesian passengers who would receive a seat upgrade with 95.6% accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly impacted various industries, including the banking sector. AI-powered chatbots have emerged as a promising tool to enhance customer service and satisfaction. This research delves into the factors that influence customer satisfaction with banking chatbot services. Specifically, the study examines the impact of system quality, information quality, service quality, trust, and social presence on customer satisfaction. A purposive sampling technique was employed to collect data from fifty-one respondents who had prior experience utilizing banking chatbot services. Data analysis techniques were used to assess the relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable, customer satisfaction. The findings in this study revealed that system quality, information quality, service quality, trust, and social presence exhibited positive impacts on customer satisfaction on using chatbot services. The results of this study can contribute to several practical implications for Indonesian banks. By understanding the factors that drive customer satisfaction, banks can optimize their chatbot systems to enhance user experience, build customer loyalty, and gain a competitive advantage. Specifically, banks can focus on improving system reliability, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of information provided by the chatbot, enhancing the chatbot's ability to understand and respond to customer queries, building trust through transparent communication and data privacy practices, and developing chatbots that can engage in natural and empathetic conversations. Furthermore, this research provides a foundation for future studies in the field of AI-powered chatbot services in the Indonesian banking sector. © 2024 IEEE.

This study investigates the impact of a variety of mobile service quality dimensions on the e-satisfaction of customers in the Indonesian food and beverage mobile application sector. The data were collected from 400 active consumers of these applications through purposive sampling, utilising a quantitative methodology. The study identified critical service quality factors - application design, simplicity of use, ease of ordering, privacy, and contact - that have a substantial impact on the quality of mobile services. The research indicates that the most significant positive effects on the quality of mobile services are from enhanced application design and simplicity of use, with privacy and contact following closely behind. In contrast, the quality of the service is not substantially influenced by the convenience of ordering. Based on these findings, it is recommended that stakeholders in Indonesia's food and beverage sector concentrate on the enhancement of visual appeal, intuitive navigation, robust privacy measures, and accessible customer support in order to enhance customer satisfaction and experiences. © 2024 IEEE.

SMEs, as part of the country's economic driver, make a significant contribution to increasing the country's economic growth by absorbing labour and developing development results. However, SMEs experience many obstacles in developing their businesses, and one of the problems is financial limitations. Several efforts have been made to strengthen SMEs' finances, but financial assistance cannot help SMEs develop their businesses. The cause is weak supervision over the use of funds originating from government assistance or other institutions, so that these funds are not used effectively to develop SME businesses. Thus, the aim of this research is to increase transparency in the monitoring of MSME financial assistance using blockchain technology. The adoption of blockchain technology for MSME financial assistance involves creating a consensus about the source and use of financial assistance stored in smart contracts. All stakeholders must be registered as blocks that will join the blockchain network. The research uses a qualitative approach through a literature review to analyse phenomena and identify problems with financial assistance for MSMEs. The result of this research is a model for adopting blockchain technology to increase transparency in the use of financial assistance for SMEs. The research results also show examples of data simulations using the Hyperledger framework. The research conclusion shows that the application of blockchain in the distribution of funds for SMEs can increase transaction transparency for the government, banks, and SMEs. © 2024 IEEE.

SMEs are small and medium-scale businesses that play an important role in the country's economy. However, SMEs have many limitations that hinder their development. Limitations in knowledge, finance, technology, marketing, and human resources are fundamental problems that hinder the development of SMEs. Several efforts have been made to help SMEs develop their businesses, one of which is a partnership program with large companies. Large companies can provide support in terms of financing, training, marketing, and product development to SMEs as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and also involve the government. However, currently there is no monitoring mechanism that provides transparent and valid information regarding collaboration activities involving SMEs, large companies, and the government. Thus, the aim of this research is to build a blockchain model to increase the transparency of information on collaboration/ partnership activities involving SMEs, large companies, and the government. The research uses a qualitative approach through a literature review to identify SME partnership problems. Literature reviews are also used to study the concept of blockchain technology, which can be adopted as a solution to SME partnership problems. The research result is a model for adopting blockchain technology to support SME partnerships. The research results also present examples of SME partnership data simulations using the Fabric Hyperledger framework. © 2024 IEEE.

Education stands out as one of the most impactful applications of the metaverse, holding immense potential for the future. Within the realm of satellite communication system science education, the integration of immersive learning through the metaverse adds a layer of interest and interactivity to the teaching and learning process. Numerous design and evaluation techniques have been employed in a growing body of research, aiming to understand how immersive learning via the metaverse can effectively contribute to specific educational objectives. Hence, this research is dedicated to delving into the development of an immersive learning metaverse model for the science of satellite communication systems. The research contributes a model that advocates for a holistic learning approach by integrating metaverse technology, VR, the 6E Instructional Process Model, and the MSLQ evaluation instrument. The objective of this model is to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and interactivity of learning within the field of satellite communication systems science. © 2024 IEEE.

This research examines the impact of mobile service quality on customer e-satisfaction in Indonesia's food and beverage mobile application sector. Using a quantitative methodology, data were collected via questionnaires from 400 active users through purposive sampling. The study found that application design, ease of use, privacy, and contact significantly enhance mobile service quality. Improved service quality positively correlates with higher customer e-satisfaction. To ensure the sustainability of their operations, higher education institutions have to establish a robust strategic plan. Higher education institutions have an obligation to continuously assess the quality of their educational offerings in every program to comply with the standards established by the government and other educational entities. The implementation of intelligent decision support systems is a feasible approach among other techniques for addressing the aforementioned challenges. An intelligent decision support system has the potential to enable the business to uphold its adherence to regulations, enhance operational effectiveness, and optimize overall performance. This study aimed to determine the current state of intelligent decision support systems through the implementation of a comprehensive literature review. The second goal is to evaluate the best practices, methods, and implementation of intelligent decision support systems within higher education institutions. The findings indicate that intelligent decision support systems have the capacity to serve as a viable option for higher education, particularly in terms of enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of decision-making processes. Intelligent decision support systems exhibit a strong correlation with the fields of data mining and computational intelligence techniques. Nevertheless, the amount of research conducted on this subject is limited. © 2023 IEEE.

Higher education worldwide has adopted Video-Based Learning (VBL) over the past decade. They have tried to build a VBL system to improve services to students. However, the researcher's topic was not fully explored, especially in making the video itself. What features are mandatory and must be considered in making a video lecture to increase student engagement. A systematic review of the literature (SLR) is a way to identify these features. This study provides a critical analysis of the current research in VBL over the last five years (2017 - 2021). It presents a general trend examining 1336 journals and many literary works related to VBL design in Higher Education, selected through a stepwise process based on PRISMA Framework guidelines, using pre-defined selection criteria. We carefully selected 32 journals and found 22 features referring to the Lecture Video Design succession. © 2023 ACM.

Indonesia is currently the 8th largest fruit-producing country in the world with production reaching 24.9 million tons per year (World Fruit Map Data) and is supported by various supporting environmental factors such as soil suitable for the needs of fruit plants that can growth, agrarian soil conditions and other factors. However, currently many farmers are harvesting fruit but the results are many that do not meet standards such as lack of water content, soil conditions, or other things. For this reason, regular control is needed so that it can benefit farmers and also make it easier for them to farm fruit. One way that can be done is to use a fruit sensor to monitor the condition of the fruit and take action if something happens to the condition of the fruit or the plant. By implementing an IoT service system as an application that can improve the quality of fruit produced from these plants. © 2023 IEEE.
