Several challenges have emerged as a result of the rapid spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. To combat the pandemic, the government has also issued general guidelines for avoiding/limiting direct contact with common people who do not live with them. However, in some unavoidable cases, such as cash transactions, the social distancing has not yet been followed properly. These type of challenges can be avoided by the introduction of e-wallets and e-money. This research study examines the transactions made using e-wallets and e-money and how these methods are increasing sales in public places. The proposed research study has attempted to utilize both qualitative and a quantitative method to observe the customer behavior while using e-wallet as a substitute for physical money when making a transaction in a shopping mall. The result of the proposed research work will be compared with the existing literature to provide a conclusion based on existing research data and literature. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Industry 4.0 has driven the need for information Technology (IT) & Operational Technology (OT) convergence to modernize OT by leveraging IT. The challenges for manufacturing operations are utilizing and converting years of scattered data into valuable information integrated into the company's digital transformation strategy. This paper aims to provide a systematic literature review of current evidence in digital transformation for acquiring automation & control technologies data in manufacturing operations, such as programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control system (DCS), and Manufacturing Execution system (MES), for analytics purposes and identify the current trends and best practices in this area. The findings cover current information on influential researchers, published journals, research trends, industries, industry types, types of analytics applications, methods, and frameworks for acquiring automation & control technologies data from the legacy OT infrastructure. © 2023 The Authors. SMEs, as part of the country's economic driver, make a significant contribution to increasing the country's economic growth by absorbing labour and developing development results. However, SMEs experience many obstacles in developing their businesses, and one of the problems is financial limitations. Several efforts have been made to strengthen SMEs' finances, but financial assistance cannot help SMEs develop their businesses. The cause is weak supervision over the use of funds originating from government assistance or other institutions, so that these funds are not used effectively to develop SME businesses. Thus, the aim of this research is to increase transparency in the monitoring of MSME financial assistance using blockchain technology. The adoption of blockchain technology for MSME financial assistance involves creating a consensus about the source and use of financial assistance stored in smart contracts. All stakeholders must be registered as blocks that will join the blockchain network. The research uses a qualitative approach through a literature review to analyse phenomena and identify problems with financial assistance for MSMEs. The result of this research is a model for adopting blockchain technology to increase transparency in the use of financial assistance for SMEs. The research results also show examples of data simulations using the Hyperledger framework. The research conclusion shows that the application of blockchain in the distribution of funds for SMEs can increase transaction transparency for the government, banks, and SMEs.

The increasing data volume given by the exponential growth of digital devices, cloud platforms, and the Internet of Things (IOT) had become an attractive target for attackers. This makes the search for innovative defense mechanisms intensified leading to a renewed focus on the utilization of honeypots to improve data security. This systematic Literature Review (SLR) examines the usage and contributions of honeypots in data security field across diverse sectors and environments. Analyzing 38 selected articles from 2018 to 2023, the study highlights the growing adoption of honeypots as tools for detecting and preventing data breaches, exfiltration, and other security incidents. Our finding found that honeypots, with their deceptive capabilities, have proven could be deployed in sectors like healthcare, cloud computing, and industrial control systems and effective in detection and prevention data breaches, exfiltration, and other data breaches, making them as a crucial tool in the data security protection. The future of honeypots lies in their integration with machine learning and AI, to predict and counteract sophisticated. Moreover, evolving honeypots into tools for deterrence and corrective action opens new avenues for cybersecurity strategies. Their ability to act as deterrents by increasing perceived risks for attackers, coupled with their role in aiding recovery from data breaches through detailed forensic analysis, positions honeypots as a cornerstone in the development of resilient data security frameworks. This study paves the way for a more adaptive, proactive, and comprehensive approach to data security, highlighting the indispensable role of honeypots in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity. © 2023 IEEE.

This study reviews factors affecting AR-based chemistry learning with the BIM model. Although there have been many kinds of research explaining the application of augmented reality (AR) and building information modeling (BIM) in learning, no research has been found that discusses the factors affecting the integration of BIM in AR-based learning. This study adopted the SLR method with the PRISMA protocol by scanning articles written in English or articles written in Indonesian from accredited online databases, and fully accessible by the authors. The articles reviewed were related to AR, BIM, Virtual Reality (VR), and chemistry learning. The predefined strings were used to extract the 156 articles. Only 41 articles met the inclusion criteria that were used as the reference for this study. Six factors were found that affect the AR-based chemistry learning with the BIM model. They are AR work performance, accessibility, user interaction with the system, presentation of material, understanding, and models. This study implies that the factors extracted can be considered as a model in developing learning media to improve chemistry learning. The limitation of this study is the absence of further analysis of which critical factors should be addressed. Researchers recommend further research by reviewing more literature. © 2022 IEEE.

This study investigates the impact of a variety of mobile service quality dimensions on the e-satisfaction of customers in the Indonesian food and beverage mobile application sector. The data were collected from 400 active consumers of these applications through purposive sampling, utilising a quantitative methodology. The study identified critical service quality factors—application design, simplicity of use, ease of ordering, privacy, and contact—that have a substantial impact on the quality of mobile services. The research indicates that the most significant positive effects on the quality of mobile services are from enhanced application design and simplicity of use, with privacy and contact following closely behind. In contrast, the quality of the service is not substantially influenced by the convenience of ordering. Based on these findings, it is recommended that stakeholders in Indonesia's food and beverage sector concentrate on the enhancement of visual appeal, intuitive navigation, robust privacy measures, and accessible customer support in order to enhance customer satisfaction and experiences.

This research examines the impact of mobile service quality on customer e-satisfaction in Indonesia's food and beverage mobile application sector. Using a quantitative methodology, data were collected via questionnaires from 400 active users through purposive sampling. The study found that application design, ease of use, privacy, and contact significantly enhance mobile service quality. Improved service quality positively correlates with higher customer e-satisfaction. The research encourages stakeholders in Indonesia's food and beverage industry to focus on these quality dimensions to boost customer e-satisfaction.

This article describes the architecture of software services that provide registration of small boat data to build maritime safety. The proposed system architecture which so-called SIMKAPEL aims to support small boat registration for maritime safety. It is developed from a conventional service-oriented architecture (SOA) with an open standard for data interoperability between elements. The goal of this research is to implement and evaluate the proposed architecture to support small boat registration and e-certification. Several parts of the architecture have been implemented as a platform that provides core services and data sources to be used by Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Sea Transportation, and other government agencies. Finally, the proposed SIMKAPEL platform with the SOA architecture is evaluated for its benefits to users through the expert opinion survey to measure its efficiency. The analysis results showed that SOA-based SIMKAPEL is feasible to use as a boat e-certification system. Furthermore, experiment results provide three parameters (e.g., maritime safety, namely, cargo/passengers, boat safety facilities, and maritime safety systems) with efficiency values of 42%, 46%, and 42%, respectively. The parameter with the highest efficiency shows a big effect on the level of safety of the boat and passengers. Thus, the parameters that need to be prioritized and need boat owners’ attention are cargo/passenger, boat safety equipment, and maritime safety system. © 2023, The Author(s).

Many individuals now trade online utilizing trading software in the digital world. Binomo is one of Indonesia's most popular trading platforms. This is because some influencers made several promises to Binomo customers. Since many customers were deceived, this case became quite popular. This study was executed to see how Indonesians felt about the Binomo application after the case went viral. The solution taken was in the form of sentiment analysis because there had been no previous research on sentiment analysis that discussed the Binomo case. The data was scanned using Netlytic tools, a cloud-based text and social network analyzer capable of identifying any talks on social media sites such as Twitter. The sentiment analysis of Binomo trading tweets by using the Multi-Perspective Question Answering lexicon utilized the KNIME tool. But unfortunately, the accuracy of sentiment analysis results is low. Furthermore, the Support Vector Machine technique is also being conducted. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method is applied to perform feature extraction whilst the chi-square approach is utilized to identify features that are thought to be useful for inclusion in the classification process and to exclude features that are irrelevant to the target class. The obtained accuracy is 86%. The study proposes that words from the algorithm's outputs can be utilized to improve the quality of sentiment analysis using the lexicon. As an outcome of the algorithm, positive and negative terms are added to the lexicon, increasing the accuracy of sentiment analysis using the new vocabulary from 58.984% to 71.146%. © 2023 IEEE.

Immersive learning has gained significant attention with the rising trend of spatial computing, particularly in the after-pandemic era. Numerous research has explored the potential of immersive learning in higher education, primarily on the educational sector. However, prior research has frequently focused too narrowly on the effects of technology and neglected to address the crucial element influencing successful immersive learning in higher education. This study seeks to pinpoint the crucial element contributing to the development of immersive learning experiences. The methodology uses a systematic literature review (SLR) from 2018 up to 2023 to investigate the critical factors of immersive Learning in Higher Education. From the 728 papers initially retrieved, 274 were considered potential candidates, and ultimately, 86 articles were selected based on their relevance to the research question. The results reveal that the critical factors include learning design, technology, immersion, engagement, interactivity, and usability. Academic interests will benefit from this SLR's consequences as institutions create models for designing suitable immersive learning, especially within the context of higher education. © 2023 IEEE.
