In this study, a combined approach using the Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is employed to evaluate an e-commerce application's usability and user acceptance. Usability plays a significant role in shaping consumer satisfaction, while user acceptance is crucial for the application's success in a competitive market. This research explores how users interact with the platform, aiming to identify usability issues and factors influencing user acceptance. Key usability criteria, including visual appeal, information clarity, and ease of navigation, are analyzed alongside TAM constructs such as perceived usefulness and ease of use. The study's primary objective is to uncover the platform's strengths and weaknesses, providing insights into functionality, design, and user acceptance. By addressing identified usability concerns and understanding the factors driving user adoption, the research aims to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement. Ultimately, the findings are expected to guide the development of a more user-friendly interface, improving the e-commerce platform's overall effectiveness, user experience, and market competitiveness. © 2025 IEEE.

Discord has evolved from a gaming-centric communication tool into a platform widely used in education, professional settings, and community building. This systematic literature review explores the critical success factors (CSFs) driving Discord's growth from 2019 to 2024, focusing on ease of use, cross-platform compatibility, customization, and integration with tools like GitHub and YouTube. In education, Discord's real-time and asynchronous communication features enhance student engagement, support remote learning, and foster interactive classrooms. In professional contexts, its adaptability aids project collaboration, workflow efficiency, and remote team management, making it a valuable workplace tool. User satisfaction averages 85%, with a reported 20% increase in workflow efficiency among teams. However, challenges such as information overload and privacy concerns limit its effectiveness, underscoring the need for improved protocols and security. These findings highlight Discord's user-centered design and feature versatility as key success factors. Despite its strengths, research gaps remain regarding its long-term impact on productivity and user satisfaction outside gaming. Addressing these through future studies is crucial for maximizing Discord's potential in reshaping communication, collaboration, and community building. © 2024 IEEE.

This study examines the state of affairs now and what lies ahead in terms of technology from the viewpoint of pilot projects, which are crucial in promoting the adoption of Industry 4.0. The program culminates in the development of a dynamic platform designed to evaluate and contrast many customized solutions that cater to the distinct needs of enterprises. Industry 4.0 developments present a plethora of design options, but businesses must develop internal solutions that best fit their requirements, taking into account factors like safety, affordability, and the possibility of requiring specialist knowledge that may need to be outsourced. The platform, which is now in use, has a cloud-based system for tracking control loop performance (CLPM), which serves as an all-inclusive communication module that efficiently collects and manages data. The document provides specific technical information about the pilot-scale module's implementation, providing an overview of ongoing work. The project's scope has expanded to encompass the system's integration of new capabilities, including live data analysis, job supervision, and a CLPM scheme that can handle factories with dispersed operations across several regions. As such, the discussion delves into the platform's incremental evolution, emphasizing the progress made in the technologies utilized. © 2024 IEEE.

This manuscript provides an overview of building a mathematical model to formulate the conditions of a company's knowledge management system that is currently running. Tight competition in the business world makes efforts to seek innovation from several knowledge assets owned by organizations to maximize the use of intangible asset resources available to each individual and organization. Through optimal management, a competitive advantage will be obtained for the company by obtaining innovative ideas based on knowledge management theory. The use of factor analysis methods can be used to look for determining factors for the success of implementing a knowledge management system (KMS) and regression analysis methods can also be used to build mathematical models. The research results provide strategies to improve success factors in KMS implementation and contribute to the development of more effective and efficient implementation strategies for knowledge management and organizational goals toward corporate competitive advantage. © 2024 IEEE.

Team management is essential to achieve common goals. Although it sounds important, many organisations do not have appropriate framework to support developing an effective teamwork. As a result, organisations face high dissatisfactions, poor quality of work and high turnover. The article takes a case study of Spectrum Radio-Frequency Monitoring (SRFM) department, Ministry of Communication and information, Pangkal Pinang, Riau. The SRFM has around 25 staff (divided into 6 task forces) are provided around 104 tasks to complete annually. There was no proper task management structure is found to manage those tasks. The stress level amongst staffs is quite along with dissatisfactions and high turnover. The article proposes improving collaboration mechanism by using MDA (gamification) method. The gamification is selected due to its popularity in promoting motivation and morale of staff in business. The outcome is expected to provide effective teamwork to reach common goals. © 2024 IEEE.

Community Development (Comdev) program is one of the key activities that needs to be undertaken by all higher education institutions. Comdev is designated to maximize knowledge transfer from academicians to communities and industries. Comdev endeavors typically involve a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including lecturers, students, local communities, corporate entities, and government bodies. Each stakeholder has a different interest, and in many cases, collaboration does not work well. Collaboration, at times, encounters roadblocks due to differing interests and levels of commitment. Some lecturers and students may not take the Comdev project seriously and only viewed it as a mere obligation, which can negatively impact results. This research discusses an innovative solution to address this challenge: Creating a Community Development (Comdev) system infused with gamification using the MDA framework. By incorporating gamification, community development programs can be more exciting and engaging, motivating individuals to actively participate. Additionally, it offers a real-time, data-driven system for monitoring program progress, helping program coordinators identify areas that require attention or improvement, ultimately contributing to more efficient and effective community development initiatives. © 2023 IEEE.

This study investigates the impact of implementing a village digitalization app called Simpledesa on the acceleration and improvement of public services in Baturinggit Village, Karangasem, Bali, Indonesia. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with village officials and a quantitative survey of 111 villagers who used the Simpledesa app. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine the influence of service improvement, efficiency, effectiveness, and functionality on village digitalization and the quality of public services. The results reveal that all hypothesized relationships, except for the link between service efficiency and village digitalization, were statistically significant. The findings suggest that village digitalization apps can enhance public service delivery by improving service quality, effectiveness, and functionality, even in resource-constrained rural contexts. The study contributes to the literature on e-government and public service innovation in developing countries and offers practical implications for village governments seeking to leverage digital technologies for better governance and service delivery. © 2024 IEEE.

Technology advancement generates new opportunities to make current business flow simpler and efficient, especially in P2P lending business model. Many companies create online digital platforms to promote new customer experience as marketplace or mediator between lender and borrower to make it easier to interact with each other's. Often transactions that happen inside the platform is not transparent that many lenders accidentally lend their money to problematic borrowers, resulting the lender cannot get their money on time. The purpose of this research is to design a smart contract system in marketplace lending using blockchain technology. The lack of lender control and trust in P2P lending platforms to select the right borrowers can be overcome by implementing blockchain systems and smart contracts. The findings of the field study and literature review show that not only blockchain and smart contracts can provide lenders with better information when selecting borrowers to carry out various transparent transactions, but also speed up the lending business process itself. In the blockchain system, all historical data is stored and thus can improve the process of checking data in the system. Implementing a blockchain and smart contract system on a P2P lending platform can increase trust, reduce delays and be more transparent. © 2023 IEEE.

The ubiquitous nature of online platforms has fostered the proliferation of personalization technologies. These technologies, powered by the collection and analysis of user data through cookies, are employed by organizations to enhance user experience by tailoring content and recommendations. While personalization offers the potential to improve user satisfaction and engagement, it also raises significant privacy and security concerns. This research delves into the intricate relationship between perceived privacy and security risks and user intentions to engage with personalized services. Drawing upon the dual-factor theory, this study posits that individuals' perceptions of privacy and security risks associated with data collection act as inhibitors, while the perceived benefits of personalization serve as enablers. To empirically examine these relationships, a comprehensive survey was conducted. The findings underscore the significant impact of privacy and security concerns on users' willingness to embrace personalized experiences. As individuals become increasingly aware of the potential risks associated with data sharing, organizations must adopt strategies to mitigate these concerns and foster trust. The implications of this research are far-reaching. By understanding the factors that influence users' decisions to engage with personalized services, organizations can develop effective strategies to balance the benefits of personalization with the need to protect user privacy and security. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the intersection of technology, privacy, and consumer behavior, providing valuable insights for both academic researchers and industry practitioners. © 2024 IEEE.

This study aims to identify the determinants of information system strategic planning in companies that are considered not in line with corporate strategic planning. There is a discrepancy between performance targets and their achievement, it is urgently necessary to carry out an evaluation related to the performance indicators used and the method of measuring performance. So that the long-term targets that are not achieved, the annual targets for the current year, can be identified with certainty the causal factors. Once these factors are identified, a model that succeeds in achieving the strategic goals developed by the company will provide steps for the company that can be used as a reference in the future. A quantitative approach through a questionnaire as a research instrument was carried out and data processing used factor analysis and regression analysis. The results obtained indicate that there are three factors that affect alignment between corporate strategic planning and corporate information system strategic planning, namely new factors related to the leadership model & company support, the target of achieving business performance, and awareness of understanding company policies and directives. The existence of this new factor is important for the success of companies engaged in the management of clean water and sanitation because it achieves alignment between the company's planning strategy and the company's information system planning strategy and can be modeled. © 2023 IEEE.
