The purpose of this study is to develop and investigate a new rough clustering based on optimization. We propose a restructured algorithm using only one variable, instead of the algorithm described using two variables in existing methods. We also perform numerical examples using artificial data and the Iris and Wine datasets. This research has the potential to be used as a method for determining false negatives and false positives in cancer diagnosis.

information engineering strategies play a significant and transformative role in shaping the landscape of digital agriculture. It drives innovation and efficiency in modern farming practices, with a specific focus on enhancing the value of agricultural commodities, such as sugarcane. The application of mobile technology plays a crucial part in achieving increased sugarcane productivity. Mobile applications, equipped with advanced developer features, offer rapid and user-friendly access to vital information. Traditional methods of estimating sugarcane production relied on manual data recording on paper, followed by data transfer to computer systems, typically managed by sugar factory junior plant officers. This conventional approach presents several inherent weaknesses, including time and effort intensiveness during data recording and entry. Additionally, the potential for errors in calculation and data input is a concern. The storage capacity for paper-based documents is finite, and farmers are often unable to autonomously assess their production potential. The objective of this research is to confront these obstacles by creating a sugarcane production application for Android. This application functions as an information engineering approach focused on forecasting sugarcane yields for plantation owners and their assistants. The development procedure adhered to the systematic waterfall method, following the principles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. Data collection was carried out through observations, while interviews with junior plant officers provided valuable insights into sugarcane estimation techniques. Analysis involved the synthesis of observational and interview data to inform the design of the application's interface and algorithmic system. The resulting application significantly simplifies the process of estimating production potential for farmers, enabling them to access sugarcane productivity data during harvest. Consequently, sugar

This research explores the vital role of penetration testing in cybersecurity, specifically its alignment with ISO 27001:2022, COBIT 2019, and NIST CSF standards in the context of crypto asset exchange management. These sectors grapple with rapidly evolving threat landscapes, necessitating robust cybersecurity strategies. However, the integration of penetration testing with these standards remains underexamined. Through a comprehensive approach, including literature reviews, surveys, case studies, and interviews, this study investigates the incorporation of penetration testing into an organization's cybersecurity. It unveils the current state of penetration testing practices, interprets ISO 27001:2022, COBIT 2019, and NIST CSF perspectives, and pinpoints integration challenges and opportunities. This study offers practical insights and best practices for integrating penetration testing into cybersecurity frameworks by emphasizing alignment. It underscores the importance of aligning penetration testing with information security standards in the crypto asset exchange management sector, enhancing security, proactively identifying vulnerabilities, and effectively mitigating risks in the context of growing crypto asset importance. Data mining is an analytical process of knowledge discovery in large and complex data sets. Many studies wish to explore data, to find information so that knowledge can be obtained through the grouping process, classification, rules discovery, associations and data mining visualization which shows similarity. Periodic data often occurs in business applications and sciences that has big size, high dimension and continuously updated. The similarity in periodic data is based on several approaches. One of common approaches is to transform periodic series into other domains so that dimensions are reduced, followed by index mechanism. Many studies of time series do not give optimal result because limited to extracting data not able to represent time series and its pattern which is then change into rules. Rules can be found in time series data, but they are still constrained by over fitting and difficult to present. It causes time series data and non linier function of data mining decision can't be optimal. The basic idea in the method proposed is to do periodic discretization for sub-sequential formation. These sub-sequences are grouped through a measure of similarity. The simple rule-finding technique is applied to obtain hidden rules in the temporal pattern. The optimal time series data expected to generate the uncertainty trend, previously unknown and can be used to make decisions or forecasting in the future. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Air pollution makes it worse in populated regions. Indonesia's major cities are also impacted by air pollution. Due to rising traffic, material consumption by vehicles, industrial growth, land burning, and garbage collection, air quality has altered significantly. Accurate measurement and classification of air quality are required. Results of accurate classification aid in forming governmental regulations. To reach the criteria for livable air quality, we intend to manage controls. Some of the characteristics of air pollution include particulate (PM10) or PM25, sulfides (in the form of SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), and nitrites (NO2). Using the XGBoost algorithm and synthetic minority oversampling (SMOTE) methods based on the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) category, this study seeks to uncover factors that affect air quality. XGBoost, an ensemble machine learning approach built on a decision tree and applying a gradient reinforcement framework, is the classification algorithm in use. Air quality categorization has been tested and shown to work with the XGBoost algorithm. The dataset used in this study is air quality in 2021 which was collected by the Jakarta Environmental Ministry The proposed classification model will be evaluated using the Repeated k-fold cross-validation method for objective results. The results of the study prove that SMOTE and XGBoost have better performance than using only the XGBoost method in predicting air quality, where the overall accuracy value of SMOTE with XGBoost is 99.60%, The overall precision value is 99.60%, the overall recall value is 99.60% and the overall f1-score is 99.60% and the overall ROC AUC value is 99.96%. The overall SMOTE method with the proposed XGBoost has given better performance in air pollution prediction. © 2022 IEEE.

To enhance the sense of reality in the VR environment, it is essential to incorporate not only visual and hearing but also tactile feedback. Previous studies related to tactile sensation have only focused on object classification to identify the object in contact with the tactile sensor. When people encounter a new object, they can use tactile perception information, such as roughness, to understand the object’s attributes and functions. Therefore, for tactile research to be applicable in real-life scenarios, tactile perception classification is essential not only for classifying an object but also for recognizing its attributes and functions. This study aims to investigate the possibility of predicting roughness, one of the important human tactile perceptions, using deep learning models. We created 63 tactile samples, measured the vibration data of each sample using an acceleration sensor, and investigated how humans perceive the roughness of the tactile samples with five different levels. Object classification was performed using five deep learning models, among which the Shallow ConvNet achieved the highest performance, confirming its suitability as the most appropriate model for analyzing vibration data. Using the Shallow ConvNet, we attained a high accuracy of $\mathbf{9 8. 6} \pm \mathbf{5. 6 \%}$ for the identification of five levels of roughness, demonstrating that different levels of tactile perception information can be discriminated with high performance.

Clustering is a typical unsupervised learning method for classifying unsupervised data. One of the clustering meth-ods, even-sized clustering based on optimization (ECBO), is a clustering algorithm that imposes a constraint to equalize the size of each cluster. ECBO has been suggested to be effective in delivery and other problems. However, it is limited to Euclidean space. On the other hand, spectral clustering with a wide range of applicability for partitioning graph data has been proposed. In this paper, we propose even-sized spectral clustering, which imposes a size-equal constraint on spectral clustering, and show that it is an extension of the graph partitioning problem. We also verify the validity of the results through numerical examples.

Since Covid outbreak in 2020, Indonesian Ministry of Health (MoH) has intensively embraced digital transformation initiatives in healthcare management and decision-making process. The latest healthcare digital transformation roadmap 2024, has emphasized the use of AI technology in data analytics and support policy making. The article examines the use of common Machine Learning (AI) algorithms, such as: Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree, and XGBoost. The article applies these algorithms to analyse the common diseases faced by Indonesian such as Measles, Malaria, Leprosy, and Diphtheria. Those diseases are classical diseases, however, still infecting many people in large areas. The article takes a case study of national health profile within period 2017–2022, to study the data model of those diseases. The outcome of the article is expected to be used for further policy making.

Microsatellite instability (MSI) is a pivotal genetic marker influencing the efficacy of immunotherapy in colorectal cancer. Traditional MSI examination often requires additional genetic or immunohistochemical tests, whereas histology images, widely available in colorectal cancer diagnosis, offer a valuable alternative for MSI prediction. Although Transformer-based models have demonstrated promising outcomes in predicting MSI from histology images, they are hampered by traditional local attention mechanisms that struggle to capture long-range interdependencies and establish a comprehensive global receptive field. In this study, we introduce DiNAT-MSI, a novel framework for histology-based MSI prediction that incorporates the Dilated Neighborhood Attention Transformer (DiNAT). This model enhances global context recognition and substantially expands receptive fields, all without additional computational burden. Our results demonstrate that DiNAT-MSI achieves a superior patientwise AUROC compared to ResNet18 and Swin Transformer, along with commendable explainability. Our work not only illustrates a more accessible diagnostic tool for leveraging histological data but also underscores the potential of Transformerbased models with sophisticated attention designs in advancing precision medicine for colorectal cancer patients. © 2024 IEEE.
