Currently, the discussion about smart city becomes a trend topic in which the development of the Internet of Thing (IoT) is used in various sectors including in the manufacturing sector where the Indonesian government is intensively increasing the capacity and production quality. The use of IoT in both smart manufacture and smart city become an interesting thing topic for research and the combination of the new technology Blockchain, may proof the reliability of data. Trust, transparent, secure, real time online process as a new phenomenon to merge IoT with Blockchain technology into smart manufacturing technology. However, for maintaining quality and sustainability, required technology governance so the achievement of implementation can be done well. This research uses the method called Systematic Literature Review (SLR) find the Blockchain adoption factors for Smart Manufacturing Technology Governance and the research conducted on several reputable publications. The result found, there are 35 adoption success factors found from the adoption of blockchain technology into smart manufacture industry. Revised JNLPBA corpus: A revised version of biomedical NER corpus for relation extraction task

The advancement of biomedical named entity recognition (BNER) and biomedical relation extraction (BRE) researches promotes the development of text mining in biological domains. As a cornerstone of BRE, robust BNER system is required to identify the mentioned NEs in plain texts for further relation extraction stage. However, the current BNER corpora, which play important roles in these tasks, paid less attention to achieve the criteria for BRE task. In this study, we present Revised JNLPBA corpus, the revision of JNLPBA corpus, to broaden the applicability of a NER corpus from BNER to BRE task. We preserve the original entity types including protein, DNA, RNA, cell line and cell type while all the abstracts in JNLPBA corpus are manually curated by domain experts again basis on the new annotation guideline focusing on the specific NEs instead of general terms. Simultaneously, several imperfection issues in JNLPBA are pointed out and made up in the new corpus. To compare the adaptability of different NER systems in Revised JNLPBA and JNLPBA corpora, the F1-measure was measured in three open sources NER systems including BANNER, Gimli and NERSuite. In the same circumstance, all the systems perform average 10% better in Revised JNLPBA than in JNLPBA. Moreover, the cross-validation test is carried out which we train the NER systems on JNLPBA/Revised JNLPBA corpora and access the performance in both protein-protein interaction extraction (PPIE) and biomedical event extraction (BEE) corpora to confirm that the newly refined Revised JNLPBA is a competent NER corpus in biomedical relation application. There have been many studies conducted related to Smart City, IT Governance and Big Data. In this study aims to find out how the relationship between the three and how to form a framework to explain it. The methodology used is qualitative by looking for some literature on smart city framework, IT Governance framework, and a Big Data framework. From these results, an overall picture of the relationship between the three is concluded, where Big Data has a role in IT Governance. and also the relationship of IT Governance to the realization of Smart City. And the final results of this study produce a framework to explain the relationship between Smart City, IT Governance and Big Data.

Plagiarism in the education sector is as serious issues. In 2015 Indonesia ministry of research, technology and higher education stated to eradicate the plagiarism, and after 2 years the similar statement by Indonesia ministry of research, technology, and higher education. The plagiarism becomes the serious program by the ministry. The plagiarism in higher education happened, the faculty member or even a professor found did the plagiarism. Therefore, this paper research conducted using descriptive analysis methodology to elaborate on deep the correlation plagiarism variables. Hence, warding off the plagiarism might possible to perform using the applications. The aim of this research to find the correlation variables that might use to ward off the plagiarism in the future. The very interesting result from 15 questioners and the report shows there are several significant correlation variables of the plagiarism. © 2018 IEEE.

For damage detection, this research article discusses an easy-to-compute damage index derived from the governing dynamic of the structure that has potential practical application in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). The research uses simplified structural models to explore the sensitivity of the index to damages, to compare the index performance with a traditional but popular damage detection method, and to understand the local/global predictive capability of the index. The research uses two simple models, namely, single- and two-degree-of-freedom systems. The results suggest that the damage index is local, that can only monitor damages occurring near the points of measurements, but it is sensitive to damages, unlike the natural frequency, which is global but less sensitive.

Understanding the reliability of engineering methods is crucial for its adoption and deployment. This research focuses on the reliability of the Power Spectral Density (PSD) method via the use of the F statistic for damage detection. To the author best knowledge, the method is rather classic but its realibility has not been discussed in the context of a large data size. Priory, the research anticipates that the accuracy is a function of the damage level. In this study, we evaluate 3500 cases with five levels of structural integrity, namely, healthy condition and damaged conditions with 1%, 5%, 10%, and 20% damage levels. The dataset is established via a numerical analysis of a seven degree-of-freedom system loaded with a concentrated dynamic force with random magnitude. A spring on the system is reduced in its stiffness to simulate damages. Our significant findings are the following: it is challenging for the PSD-based method to differentiate the healthy condition from the damaged conditions when the damage level is small. However, the reliability is high at 95% probability when the structural integrity has dropped by five percent.

KAGRA, the underground and cryogenic gravitational-wave detector, was operated for its solo observation from February 25 to March 10, 2020, and its first joint observation with the GEO 600 detector from April 7 to April 21, 2020 (O3GK). This study presents an overview of the input optics systems of the KAGRA detector, which consist of various optical systems, such as a laser source, its intensity and frequency stabilization systems, modulators, a Faraday isolator, mode-matching telescopes, and a high-power beam dump. These optics were successfully delivered to the KAGRA interferometer and operated stably during the observations. The laser frequency noise was observed to limit the detector sensitivity above a few kilohertz, whereas the laser intensity did not significantly limit the detector sensitivity.

Laser wakefield acceleration (LWFA) may achieve TeV/m gradients using high-density solid-state plasmas as accelerating media. However, the application of bulk solid materials requires attosecond laser pulses, such as X-ray lasers, to drive wakefields at these high densities. Additionally, the short wakefield wavelengths associated with solid-state plasmas greatly limit the accelerating length. An alternative approach employs 2D carbon-based nanomaterials, like graphene or carbon nanotubes (CNTs), configured into structured targets. These nanostructures are designed with voids or low-density regions to effectively reduce the overall plasma density. This reduction enables the use of longer-wavelength lasers and also extends the plasma wavelength and the acceleration length. In this study, we present, to our knowledge, the first numerical demonstration of electron acceleration via self-injection into a wakefield bubble driven by an infrared laser pulse in structured CNT targets, similar to the behavior observed in gaseous plasmas for LWFA in the nonlinear (or bubble) regime. Using the PIConGPU code, bundles of CNTs are modeled in a 3D geometry as 25 nm-thick carbon tubes with an initial density of 1022 cm−3. The carbon plasma is ionized by a three-cycle, 800 nm wavelength laser pulse with a peak intensity of 1021 W cm−2, achieving an effective plasma density of 1020 cm−3. The same laser also drives the wakefield bubble, responsible for the electron self-injection and acceleration. Simulation results indicate that fs-long electron bunches with hundreds of pC charge can be self-injected and accelerated at gradients exceeding 1 TeV/m. Objective: Mobile nutrition applications (apps) provide a simple way for individuals to record their diet, but the validity and inherent errors need to be carefully evaluated. The aim of this study was to assess the validity and clarify the sources of measurement errors of image-assisted mobile nutrition apps. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study with 98 students recruited from School of Nutrition and Health Sciences, Taipei Medical University. A 3-d nutrient intake record by Formosa Food and Nutrient Recording App (FoodApp) was compared with a 24-h dietary recall (24-HDR). A two-stage data modification process, manual data cleaning, and reanalyzing of prepackaged foods were employed to address inherent errors. Nutrient intake levels obtained by the two methods were compared with the recommended daily intake (DRI), Taiwan. Paired t test, Spearman's correlation coefficients, and Bland–Altman plots were used to assess agreement between the FoodApp and 24-HDR. Results: Manual data cleaning identified 166 food coding errors (12%;stage 1), and 426 food codes with missing micronutrients (32%) were reanalyzed (stage 2). Positive linear trends were observed for total energy and micronutrient intake (all P_trend < 0.05) after the two stages of data modification, but not for dietary fat, carbohydrates, or vitamin D. There were no statistical differences in mean energy and macronutrient intake between the FoodApp and 24-HDR, and this agreement was confirmed by Bland–Altman plots. Spearman's correlation analyses showed strong to moderate correlations (r = 0.834 ∼ 0.386) between the two methods. Participants’ nutrient intake tended to be lower than the DRI, but no differences in proportions of adequacy/inadequacy for DRI values were observed between the two methods. Conclusions: Mitigating errors significantly improved the accuracy of the Formosa FoodApp, indicating its validity and reliability as a self-reporting mobile-based dietary assessment tool.
