Patrimonialization is the process through which an object is integrated within a heritage institution’s collection. More than a simple and bureaucratic process of listing an object, of registering it in the registry book, patrimonialization is the process through which a primary object has its cultural value recognized, is integrated into the scope of a specific discipline, and thus, to culture in general, becoming witnesses and representatives of the original context from which they came from, becoming secondary documents or objects. A conceptual model of the patrimonialization process through which an object became a heritage object is proposed. The model emphasizes the role of the Patrimonialization Justification, a paradata dossier in documenting the decisions, criteria, and justifications of a curator to assign to an object the status of a cultural heritage object and incorporate it in the collection of a heritage institution. The model reuses classes and properties of other ontologies to contextualize the patrimonialization process and the documents involved, including the references that support the curator’s decision to patrimonialize an object and include it in a heritage collection. © 2024 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

Since the emergence of Pokémon Go in 2016, the world has been introduced to Augmented Reality (AR) games. Many IT companies have begun developing augmented reality (AR) games due to the great commercial potential in this industry. Certain products may have managed to remain viable in the market, while others were forced to close due to one or two factors. Since the emergence of Pokémon Go, no other game has managed to surpass its unprecedented success. The company responsible for developing Pokémon Go has decided to shut down one of their games due to a lack of consumer interest. The technology of augmented reality (AR) is consistently associated with the concept of immersion. Immersion is a key aspect of the game that allows users to deeply engage and feel fully involved in the experience. This study will employ a quantitative methodology, utilising a questionnaire that will be distributed to and completed by those who have engaged in augmented reality (AR) games. The data will be analysed using Smart PLS to examine the impact of user experience on immersion, which in turn influences intention. After gathering over 200 participants by spreading google form questionnaires and doing data analysis, the findings indicate that only a few aspects of user experience, namely Brand Experience and User Need Experience, have an impact on reasons. Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, was unable to replicate their success with a similar augmented reality game called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The initial release occurred on June 21, 2019, and the shutdown took place on December 21, 2021. In the beginning, they shown a profound enthusiasm for the game but were unable to sustain it, much as Pokémon Go. In a computer supported cooperative work (CSCW), data consistency between collaborating users is a crucial issue. Based on the type of the application, ensuring data consistency can be a lengthy process that takes time and affects the system’s performance. In most 3D application, terrain data are massive due to its size. Exchanging this data may be expensive and may cause significant delay. In a real-time collaborative terrain editor, this issue becomes more significant due to terrain data exchange is consistently occurred between collaborating users. We present a solution to perform a conflict-free dynamic terrain data exchange in a real-time collaborative terrain editor. Our objective is to develop a method that able to ensure data consistency amongst collaborating peers in real-time manner. The main idea of our method is to split the terrain into smaller patches and synchronize the changes efficiently by only exchanging the modified patches. We applied our solution to a collaborative terrain editor application to test its performance in a real-time collaborative editing session. The tests were done in multiple scenarios, using different patch model, brush size (in the terrain editor), and connection setup between server and collaborating clients. The result shows that our protocol is capable to maintain data consistency between collaborating clients in a real-time terrain edition session. The delay is varied and highly depends on the data size and client-server environment setup. The overall test shows that it is possible to perform a collaborative terrain editing with an acceptable response time delay. In this paper, we present our proposed method, the implementation, and the result data from the test. © 2022 Slovene Society Informatika. All rights reserved.

Banking and Fintech are encouraged to collaborate to fill each other's deficiencies and further grow the digital economy. This collaboration will create benefits for both banks, Fintech, and customers. However, this collaboration also comes with risks. The Financial Services Authority has stated that several risk phenomena can occur in the collaboration of banks and Fintech. First, no law guarantees the protection and exchange of customer personal data. Second, the risk of customer data leakage. Third, the risk of cyberattacks. The fourth is the risk of outsourcing. This research aims to analyze the risk phenomenon of bank and fintech collaboration through the Enterprise Risk management Framework approach. This study uses a phenomenological research approach, which is a study to study how individuals subjectively experience and give meaning to the phenomenon. Data analysis based on this phenomenon data uses qualitative methods involving banking and fintech practitioners. The results of this study describe the phenomenon of risks that occur in banking-fintech collaboration, as approached by the Enterprise Risk management framework. Proper risk management will minimize risks when the Bank collaborates with FinTech. This study hopefully contributes to making brief policy recommendations on bank and fintech collaboration risk management for Indonesian financial regulators. © 2023 IEEE.

Smart Home technology offers technological concepts that can be controlled through smart devices to make it easier for the community. Therefore, smart home technology is starting to seize the home electronics market in Indonesia, especially in the city of Jakarta. This study aims to determine the integration of conventional technology into smart home technology for people in Jakarta. The research model in this study uses UTAUT2 which analyzes nine variables, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Cost, Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, Perceived Compatibility, Trust, Perceived Pleasure, and Effort Expectations, Intention to Use Smart Home technology. After the responses were received, data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM approach with the SmartPLS application. The results of this study show that there are many people who live in Jakarta who are helped by the presence of smart home technology. However, there are some people who don't really know how to use a smart home because of a lack of knowledge about this technology. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, the authors investigate the current state of the lighting design and control sector in Thailand's creative industry. The government aims to promote the creative industry as a key source of income, but there needs more skilled professionals in the industry. The authors have found that successful cases have used the Internet for remote controlling in the creative industry in other countries. Therefore, the paper will explore the potential of using technology to improve professional efficiency and assess the feasibility of implementing remote lighting control systems via the Internet with Thai lighting designers and lighting console operators. Data will be collected through qualitative in-depth interviews and quantitative surveys. The results have shown a promising acceptance rate of wireless devices for lighting control due to their mobility, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and positive attitudes toward adopting Internet technology. The authors have also proposed a concept design for an internet-based control system tailored to Thai users, focusing on simplicity, ease of connection, and user-friendliness to accommodate those with limited network configuration knowledge. The proposed system aims to reduce professionals, save time, and increase convenience, leveraging Thailand's extensive wireless internet coverage. These systems could significantly benefit Thailand's creative industry by addressing the shortage of skilled professionals and improving efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

This study embarked on a rigorous examination of the factors driving user satisfaction and usage behavior in the context of telehealth applications. Utilizing a well- structured Google Form survey, distributed through an array of social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Discord, Instagram, and Line, the research gathered 251 responses. The purposive sampling technique was employed to ensure that the data captured the experiences of individuals who had actively engaged with telehealth services. One hypothesis, relating to the influence of Online Reviews, was found to be unsupported. This surprising result suggests that, contrary to expectations, the opinions and reviews shared online do not significantly affect users' satisfaction or their behavioral decisions in the context of telehealth applications. This finding highlights the need for a more nuanced understanding of the factors influencing user preferences and choices in this rapidly evolving sector. Conversely, other hypotheses examining factors such as Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Perceived Reliability, Price Value, and Purchase Intention were substantiated. The positive influence of these factors on customer usage behavior underscores their significance in shaping user experiences and satisfaction within the telehealth ecosystem. Furthermore, the study posits that facilitating conditions should be closely aligned with technological advancements, as this alignment is conducive to the development of enhanced application features. This insight suggests that telehealth providers should continuously innovate and integrate advanced technologies to ensure that the facilitating conditions meet the ever-evolving needs and expectations of users. © 2023 IEEE.

The 2011 flood in Thailand exposed significant vulnerabilities in industrial areas, highlighting the necessity for enhanced disaster risk management through Area-Business Continuity management (Area-BCM). This preliminary study focuses on identifying how stakeholders rely on information from each other to improve disaster preparedness and response. The research involves systematically identifying Area-BCM stakeholders and designing interview questions, which are evaluated by experts using the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) to ensure relevance and clarity. All interview questions surpassed the IOC threshold of 0.5, confirming their effectiveness in capturing information interdependencies. Expert feedback led to refinements in the questions, underscoring the importance of tailored data collection. This initial plan provides a critical foundation for understanding information interdependence and highlights the importance of well-designed data collection methods. The findings have significant implications for developing more resilient disaster management strategies in industrial areas, emphasizing the need for precise and relevant stakeholder communication to enhance Area-BCM effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.

This article describes the architecture of software services that provide registration of small boat data to build maritime safety. The proposed system architecture which so-called SIMKAPEL aims to support small boat registration for maritime safety. It is developed from a conventional service-oriented architecture (SOA) with an open standard for data interoperability between elements. The goal of this research is to implement and evaluate the proposed architecture to support small boat registration and e-certification. Several parts of the architecture have been implemented as a platform that provides core services and data sources to be used by Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Sea Transportation, and other government agencies. Finally, the proposed SIMKAPEL platform with the SOA architecture is evaluated for its benefits to users through the expert opinion survey to measure its efficiency. The analysis results showed that SOA-based SIMKAPEL is feasible to use as a boat e-certification system. Furthermore, experiment results provide three parameters (e.g., maritime safety, namely, cargo/passengers, boat safety facilities, and maritime safety systems) with efficiency values of 42%, 46%, and 42%, respectively. The parameter with the highest efficiency shows a big effect on the level of safety of the boat and passengers. Thus, the parameters that need to be prioritized and need boat owners’ attention are cargo/passenger, boat safety equipment, and maritime safety system. © 2023, The Author(s).

This study aims to envision the future of banking and the FinTech industry collaboration by the triggers for change based on trends watching in current conditions. Envisioning is the ability to describe the impact of changes in the business environment caused by the various trigger changes observed in trend watching. The current conditions and the triggers of change based on trend-watching are issues and considerations in envisioning collaboration between banking and the Fintech industry. The research methodology uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The study surveyed 100 respondents, each representing the banking and FinTech sectors, who understand the issues related to the collaboration of the two industries. In addition, to complement the survey data, this study also conducted Focus Group Discussions and In-depth Interviews as a qualitative approach. The study's results by analyzing current conditions and triggers of change based on trend watching will represent a picture of the future of banking and FinTech industry collaboration. This research will expect a significant contribution to government regulations/policies and a positive contribution and support on the IT/IS side, especially in applied technology and architecture/business models for collaboration in the future of collaboration banking and the FinTech Industry that follow. © 2022 IEEE.
