Fish handling conditions on the market nowadays mainly in the traditional market is less a principle handling with caution, fast, and clean, making the selling fish polluted with chemical, physical, and microbiological pollutants. The fish handling on the modern market is generally better than the traditional markets. Puncak Permai and Simo Gunung Market provide fresh fish more than any other market in Surabaya, making these markets become the main destination for consumers, therefore this study was conducted to observe the fish freshness in both markets. The purpose of this study was to compare the freshness and observe the handling way of traders situating in both markets. This research used a survey method that was conducted for seven times sampling with three days of interval sampling. This study took three types of marine fish. The main parameters observed were pH and organoleptic values, while the supporting parameters were interviewed data. The result showed that the handling method had a significant effect (p0.05) on the pH level. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Background: The association of breaks in sedentary time with outcomes of physical function can vary according to the time of day. We examined the association of the diurnal pattern of breaks in sedentary time with physical function outcomes in older adults. Methods: A cross-sectional analysis was conducted among 115 older adults (≥60 years). The overall and time-specific breaks (morning: 06:00–12:00;afternoon: 12:00–18:00;evening: 18:00–24:00) in sedentary time were assessed using a triaxial accelerometer (Actigraph GT3X+). A break in sedentary time was defined as at least 1 min where the accelerometer registered ≥100 cpm following a sedentary period. Five physical function outcomes were assessed: handgrip strength (dynamometer), balance ability (single leg stance), gait speed (11-m walking), basic functional mobility (time up and go), and lower-limb strength (five times sit-to-stand). Generalized linear models were used to examine the associations of the overall and time-specific breaks in sedentary time with the physical function outcomes. Results: Participants showed an average of 69.4 breaks in sedentary time during the day. Less frequent breaks in the evening (19.3) were found than that in the morning (24.3) and the afternoon (25.3) (p < 0.05). Breaks in sedentary time during the day were associated with less time on gait speed in older adults (exp (β) = 0.92, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.86–0.98;p < 0.01). Time-specific analysis showed that breaks in sedentary time were associated with less time on gait speed (exp (β) = 0.94, 95% CI 0.91–0.97;p < 0.01), basic functional mobility (exp (β) = 0.93, 95% CI 0.89–0.97;p < 0.01), and lower-limb strength (exp (β) = 0.92, 95% CI 0.87–0.97;p < 0.01) in the evening only. Conclusion: A break in sedentary time, particularly during the evening, was associated with better lower extremity strength in older adults. Speed and simplicity in the process of finding documents and information have become a necessity in the campus library. The speed in finding a skripsi document that is currently still very long to find the data and more simple in displaying what you are looking for then we aim to search and find skripsi documents in a digital library at a private university in Jakarta more quickly and display what which is searched precisely. An approach is needed using the VSM method that encourages without complete keywords, and to see the effectiveness of research searches. The results of the VSM method can be applied for the development of prototype applications. Peatland Plays A Pivotal Role In Providing Natural Resource Production And Environmental Services For Human Welfare. However, Many Studies Have Mentioned The Impact Of Dryland Cultivation In Peatland On The Shifting Carbon Balance In The Ecosystem That Clearly Will Alter The Interaction Of These Two Ecosystem Services. The Goal Of This Study, Conducted Under The Framework Of The System Of Environmental-Economic Accounting (Seea) Was To Monetary Value The Ecosystem Services (Es) Of Provisioning And Carbon Regulating Services Of The Gaung-Batang Tuaka Peat Hydrological Unit (Khg). We Focused On Khg In Response To Regulation No.57/2016, Which Highlights Ecosystem Boundary As A New Basis For Peatland management. Under The Seea Framework, Ecosystem Services Become A Benefit When Utilized By Ecosystem Beneficiaries. In This Case, Provisioning Services Will Be Valued Only For Cultivated Land, While Carbon Services Calculated For The Entire Study Area (Global Beneficiaries). Chronic wounds have a significant impact on patients’ quality of life, necessitating the management of pain, infection, bleeding, and emotional challenges. Debridement, which involves the removal of nonviable tissue, is crucial for promoting wound healing. In addition to surgical methods, cost-effective alternatives such as local solutions and ointments with biological properties have been explored. The use of natural compounds with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and collagen-synthesizing abilities holds promise for wound healing. This in vitro and in vivo preclinical study aimed to assess the safety and effectiveness of a wound healing ointment containing bioactive ingredients derived from medicinal plants (extracts, essential oils, and vegetable oils). The chemical composition of the ointment was characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy to gain insights into its synergistic action. Preclinical tests were conducted following standardized protocols. FTIR analysis revealed similarities between the product’s spectrum and that of bioactive compounds. The in vitro tests demonstrated that all formulations of the ointment induced no cell death, DNA damage, or acute toxicity in cell cultures (p < 0.05). No lethal dose was observed, indicating the safety of the ointment at all concentrations. The ointment also stimulated a notably more organized, significantly higher collagen production compared to control groups (p < 0.05). In vivo preclinical analyses also demonstrated no adverse responses being effective in the healing process compared to the control group (silver sulfadiazine) in terms of wound contraction and ulcer re-epithelization (p < 0.05). Significantly higher means of wound contraction were observed in the groups treated with the bioactive-containing ointment when compared to both the positive control group (sulfadiazine) and the control untreated groups (p < 0.05). In 21st century, problem solving, computational thinking (CT) and collaborative skills are essential skills to achieve. In this study, problem-solving aptitude including five CT dimensions and STEM attitudes were examined through questionnaires. Total of ninety-nine 5th-graders were involved in the interdisciplinary robotic game , which is designed to enhance the effectiveness of the new learning structure in the context of Great Voyage. It is found that CT dimensions has intersected correlations to the STEM aspects. Interdisciplinary education has positive effects to the students, and the curriculum would lead them to have better performance in the complex problem-solving situations. © ICCE 2019 - 27th International Conference on Computers in Education, Proceedings. Standard notions of an “Earthlike” planet rely solely on physical and material properties, like planetary mass, radius, and surface temperature. Here, we introduce a novel, relational perspective on what defines “Earthlikeness.” In our process-based framework, rocky planets are local pockets of free energy that have the potential to drive the emergence of dynamically persistent systems that coevolve with one another. Examples of dynamically persistent planetary phenomena include magnetic dynamos, mantle convection, tectonic regimes, deep volatile cycles, global climate feedbacks, biogeochemical cycles, and the biosphere. When two or more processes couple to one another such that they gain causal efficacy over one another's persistence, some degree of planetary-scale homeostasis may emerge. In astrobiology, Earthlike exoplanets are often considered to be priority targets for the search for life elsewhere. We suggest that a process-based framework for Earthlikeness has the potential to widen our search space and inspire novel planetary-scale biosignatures, or “Gaiasignatures,” that may be essential for detecting exoplanetary biospheres. Additionally, a process-based view of life can influence the development of agnostic biosignatures at all scales. In contrast to the dominant scientific perspective, which has tended to engender a materialistic worldview, relational ontologies may contribute to our scientific understanding of Earth as a network of dynamically persistent systems, humanity as an integral part of nature, and the search for life in the universe. The interactions of charged particles with carbon nanotubes may excite electromagnetic modes in the electron gas produced in the cylindrical graphene shell constituting the nanotube wall. This wake effect has recently been proposed as a potential novel method of short-wavelength high-gradient particle acceleration. In this work, the excitation of these wakefields is studied by means of the linearized hydrodynamic model. In this model, the electronic excitations on the nanotube surface are described treating the electron gas as a 2D plasma with additional contributions to the fluid momentum equation from specific solid-state properties of the gas. General expressions are derived for the excited longitudinal and transverse wakefields. Numerical results are obtained for a charged particle moving within a carbon nanotube, paraxially to its axis, showing how the wakefield is affected by parameters such as the particle velocity and its radial position, the nanotube radius, and a friction factor, which can be used as a phenomenological parameter to describe effects from the ionic lattice. Assuming a particle driver propagating on axis at a given velocity, optimal parameters were obtained to maximize the longitudinal wakefield amplitude. © 2023, CC BY.

The area of the rice harvest in Banten Province in 2021 was 319,558 ha with a production of 1,63 million tons of unhusked rice or with a productivity of 5.1 tons/ha (CBS,2022). The objectives of this study were: 1) to optimize the target of rice and corn production in Banten Province, and 2) to optimize the target farmers' income in Banten Province. The study method used was a survey, with purposive sampling at the farmer level. Data were analyzed qualitatively (uses descriptive tabulation) and quantitatively (uses goal programming). The results of this study were:1) The target of rice production in the Banten Province of 2.1 million tons of unhusked rice can be achieved with the optimal area of irrigated paddy of 299,755.7 ha and the optimal area of field/dry land of 87,750.9 ha. The target for maize production of 1.75 million tonnes in Banten Province can be achieved with an optimal planting area of 342.211.7 ha of dry land. 2) The optimal area of food crops to achieve the farmer's income target in Banten Province in 2018 is IDR. 8.79 trillion comes from the planting area of lowland rice covering an area of 391,222.1 ha, the corn planting area of 169,059.9 ha, soybean planting area of 23,074.82 ha and cassava planting area of 2,832.77 ha. © 2023, The Authors. Background: Physicians’ values about what constitute their professional identities are integral in understanding how they ascribe meaning to their practice. However, there is no general consensus on the conceptualization and measurement of physicians’ professional identities. This study developed and validated a values-based scale for measuring physicians’ professional identities. Methods: A hybrid research method was used to gather both qualitative and quantitative data. We employed literature review, semi-structured interview, Q-sorting exercise to examine the conceptualization of emergency physicians’ professional identities and to initially develop a 40-item scale. A panel of five experts assessed the scale’s content validity. Using 150 emergency physicians as our sample, we conducted Confirmatory Factor Analyses (CFA) to test the fit of our hypothesised four-factor model based on our preliminary findings. Results: Initial CFA suggested revisions to the model. Following theoretical assumptions and modification indices, the model was revised and adjusted to a four-factor 20 item Emergency Physicians Professional Identities Value Scale (EPPIVS) with acceptable fit statistics χ2 = 389.38, df = 164, Normed χ2 = 2.374, GFI = 0.788, CFI = 0.862, RMSEA = 0.096. The Cronbach’s alpha, McDonald’s Omega reliability and composite reliability of the subscales ranged from α: 0.748 to 0.868, Omega: 0.759 to 0.868 and CR: 0.748 to 0.851, respectively. Conclusion: The results indicate that the EPPIVS is a valid and reliable scale for measuring physicians’ professional identities. Further research on the sensitivity of this instrument to important changes over career progression in emergency medicine is warranted. © 2023, The Author(s).
