This paper considers video and audio transmission in ICN (Information-Centric Networking)/ CCN (ContentCentric Networking), where each intermediate node can cache content. We have proposed LCD with Prob, combining traditional policies: LCD (Leave Copy Down) and probabilistic caching. This paper assumes a case where multiple video and audio streams exist simultaneously. We assess application-level QoS (Quality of Service) and QoE (Quality of Experience) of video and audio transmission utilizing LCD with Prob. We also add a mechanism for further QoE enhancement called “LCD with Prob deletion.” We assess application-level QoS using a computer simulation with a tree network and QoE by means of a subjective experiment. From the assessment result, we show the effectiveness of LCD with Prob deletion against existing policies.

This research shows that social learning can be used to increase an organization's cybersecurity maturity level. Using a literature study and case study approach. Literature studies are used to identify social learning's key success factors (KSF) and challenges in general. Then, the case study was performed in the context of assessing the maturity level of information security using the NIST Cybersecurity framework at ABC Software House, a small-scale software development company in Indonesia. Assessment activities are performed through FGDs which then also identify the most relevant social learning' KSF to increase the organization's information security maturity level. Next, referring to the selected KSF, a process of identifying and mapping social learning' challenges was carried out. The integration of social learning can help organizations gain better focus and understanding in nontechnical contexts to increase their maturity level. This research highlights that integrating social learning with the NIST cybersecurity framework can provide organizations with better focus and perspective for formulating non-technical solutions. This study also enriches the existing literature on social learning in cybersecurity and offers practical insights for organizations looking to improve their cybersecurity resilience. © 2024 IEEE.

Accurately predicting an owl species based on its sound can be helpful for owl conservation. To build an accurate model for owl sound classification, deep learning is currently the most preferred algorithm, due to its excellent performance for modeling audio data. However, deep learning is generally underperformed for a small dataset, which is the case for recognizing scops owl sound. To overcome the issue, we proposed a transfer learning strategy, which is common for computer vision tasks, that can alleviate overfitting in a deep learning model for the owl sound classification. In our approach, we propose a neural network architecture consisting of the backbone of a EfficientNet model pre-Trained on the massive ImageNet database. The model takes the sound input that has been converted as two image representations: Spectrogram and Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients. Our strategy enables the use of a relatively small size of pre-Trained image classification model, which is widely available, for transfer learning in owl sound classification. Deploying the lightweight model in an automatic sound classifier provides a fast and accurate tool for various owl conservation purposes. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

MOOCs are one of the developments or impacts of e-learning or online learning. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is one of the choices for students to increase their knowledge through non-formal channels. Our research aims to determine the level of readiness of students regarding MOOC learning and opportunities for utilizing recommendation systems in students' decision-making regarding selecting MOOCs that suit their interests and needs. We conducted a survey regarding the constraints and needs of learner readiness through 5 aspects, namely 1) technical aspect, (2) social aspect, (3) communication aspect, (4) lecture readiness aspect, and (5) online discussion. The results of this research show that the main challenges that MOOC participants may face in a MOOC environment are Technical Aspects (28.25%), Social Aspects (21.47%), and Communication Aspects (18.93%). Meanwhile, the greatest strength of online learning in the MOOC environment is the social aspect (21%), the most influential and continued with technical and other aspects. Meanwhile, the lecture readiness aspect is quite good, and the online discussion aspect is the biggest aspect that influences the success of MOOC learning. Other results of this research indicate the importance of a recommendation system for MOOC students to make it easier for students to choose the right MOOC according to their interests and needs. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper explores the development of a multilabel machine learning system for predicting both gender and age from human gait patterns. Gait analysis, a non-intrusive method of identifying subtle nuances in human movement, has proven to be a rich source of information related to demographic characteristics. The research extends beyond traditional single-label classification approaches, adopting a multilabel framework to simultaneously predict gender and age *** study evaluates various multilabel machine learning algorithms, with the Random k-labeLsets (RAKEL) algorithm demonstrating superior performance in predicting gender and age labels from human gait datasets. The accuracy of the algorithm can reach up to 87%. We also compared the multilabel approach with several multiclass algorithms such as Decision Tree, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, K-Neighbors and XGBoost. However, when we also considering the training time, Classifier Chain algorithm showed the best trade off with the accuracy of 86% and the training time is twice faster than the RAKEL algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

In the world of education, learning management systems are currently widely used. The massively open online courses are accessible either via the web or mobile. The Learning Management System (LMS) is one of the learning media that is widely used today in online learning. An LMS with the use of a personalized recommendation system can provide items tailored to the interests and behavior of its users. Items in the recommendation system can be in the form of recommendations for learning models, ways of learning, learning patterns, or learning stages according to the characteristics and profile of the user. The purpose of this study is to identify opportunities for better online learning by utilizing a customized recommendation system based on the history of user interaction with the system, using several factors as determinants or variables. The method used is a review conducted from several stages. The result of this is knowing the factors that influence the user, and the opportunities that exist in the system recommendations on personalized development. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider multi-view video and audio streaming using MPEG-DASH, which enables to transmit video tailored to the network conditions over HTTP communication. This paper uses HTTP/2 instead of HTTP/1.1, which the authors previously used. HTTP/2 manages a series of request-response exchanges called a stream, which is assigned a unique stream ID. We perform a subjective experiment under various network conditions to evaluate application-level QoS and QoE. From the evaluation results, we investigate the effect of the HTTP/2 stream on the video and audio quality of the users in the multi-view video transmission scenario.

Several challenges have emerged as a result of the rapid spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. To combat the pandemic, the government has also issued general guidelines for avoiding/limiting direct contact with common people who do not live with them. However, in some unavoidable cases, such as cash transactions, the social distancing has not yet been followed properly. These type of challenges can be avoided by the introduction of e-wallets and e-money. This research study examines the transactions made using e-wallets and e-money and how these methods are increasing sales in public places. The proposed research study has attempted to utilize both qualitative and a quantitative method to observe the customer behavior while using e-wallet as a substitute for physical money when making a transaction in a shopping mall. Although the parking lot is equipped with CCTV surveillance, car theft incidents still occur occasionally. These thieves exploit a loophole in the system that prevents the identification of the car's brand and model upon entering and exiting the parking lot using the same ticket. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop a system capable of detecting the brand and model of cars. The study utilizes convolutional neural network technology and specifically focuses on the EfficientNet, MobileNet, and MobileNetV2 architectures due to their low resource requirements. Training images for the study are sourced from an online marketplace for used cars, with each of the 20 car brand and model variations consisting of 100 photographs. creates a model after being processed. For the prototype, the approach is put into practice through a mobile application. This study compares EfficientNet, MobileNetV1, and MobileNetV2 as the end result. EfficientNet scored 74%, MobileNetV1 74%, and MobileNetV2 66% on the test of accuracy. The accuracy increases to 80% after the EfficientNet has been tuned. © 2023 The Authors. This paper compares video and audio QoE of OFDMA multi-user transmission and reliable groupcast over wireless LAN. We assume video and audio transmission to several terminals simultaneously. As a reliable groupcast method, we employ Unsolicited Retry, a technique of IEEE 802.11aa GroupCast with Retries. We utilize IEEE 802.11ax for OFDMA transmission. We evaluate application-level QoS by computer simulation. We then assess QoE through a subjective experiment with video and audio streams generated by the output timing obtained from the simulation. We notice that each method has a situation to be applied appropriately.
