Post-pandemic and globalization have accelerated the implementation of Industry 4.0, aided by rapid technological and information advancements. Industry 4.0 has significant consequences for all institutions in developing ICT infrastructure, one of which is educational institutions. Despite the enthusiasm in all educational institutions for using ICT to improve teaching and learning, particularly in universities, integrating technology is becoming problematic. Integrating ICT infrastructure in universities is a multidimensional process involving technology and curriculum, pedagogy, institutional readiness, lecturer competence, and long-term financial planning. Membership function (MF) in process of fuzzy logic is very meaningful. It depicts the core of model. It can be adopted from the expert judgment and also coming from the configuration of data behavior. The study is an experimental research by analyzing time-series data behavior in developing the MF by using the programming language Python. The MF academically produced called as floating MF (FMF). Such a FMF operated to realize the fuzzy logic conception in an evaluation model. The constructed model is a model in simply measuring the student's performance. By using the ten series-data of student's grade point average (GPA) and absence per annual (APS) values, the model can simulate the moving students' performance per semester. When compared to the conventional FL based model, the proposed model has a similarity average 85%.

Tracking a vehicle in real time usually requires the transmission of the geographical coordinates of its route to the Internet. As part of a partnership to develop smart cities applications, a prototype vehicle tracking system has been developed and evaluated. The algorithm records the geolocation of the vehicle every 30 seconds, which can lead to unnecessary coordinates being sent and the communication network being overloaded. The aim of this work is to develop an algorithm that is able to determine the location of a moving object based on its angular position. The proposed algorithm uses an inertial measurement unit sensor to determine the change of direction and is able to correctly determine the route even if a coordinate is lost. We conducted an experimental study comparing the periodic approach with angular position-based approach on a route of a public bus in the city of Toledo/PR. The results show that the angle-based algorithm reduces the number of transmitted coordinates by up to 30%.

This study aims to identify the processes of UX designing a mobile application, Augmented Reality based on Gamification for Cultural Heritage Tourism, and to provide the prototype design and the testing result; this research employs the Design Thinking Method to design the prototype and uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) to identify and validate the testing result; the author establishes two research questions for this study, then explains the answers through a clear description of the stages of making a prototype which consists of the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing stages, then to find out the testing results, the author uses the SUS method, scoring 88.5 in the excellent and acceptable categories; the originality of the research, this study provides the Design Thinking method to investigate the process of UX designing and the SUS Score method to calculate the resting result, helps build a complete understanding of developing the prototype and validation through testing comprehensively.

Biomedical knowledge graph reasoning is capable of discovering hidden new knowledge based on existing biomedical data, providing ideas and references for new drug discovery, disease research, and so on. The entire graph topology structure formed by triplets and the attribute descriptions for each entity are crucial information for discovering new knowledge. Some add a variety of additional information to aid reasoning, namely multimodal reasoning. However, current multimodal reasoning techniques often rely solely on vector space distance inferences based on triplets themselves, making it difficult to capture more complex relationships and dependencies between facts. This work integrated triplet entity relations, graph topology structures, and attribute descriptions for each entity to incorporate richer information, and utilized logical rules as external knowledge for relational reasoning in biomedical knowledge graphs. We have evaluated our approach on PharmKG.

The application of information technology in addition to making internal business processes more effective and efficient, is also to improve customer service. This role is important for companies to maintain the sustainability of information systems as a strategic tool for competitive advantage so system availability is absolutely essential. Research related to the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) needs to be carried out to see the readiness of a corporation to build a backup system in different places and locations. By using the method of factor analysis and regression analysis to form an evaluation model, it will obtain an overview of what factors must be considered and what the current conditions are. The results of the study show that there are Core Technical DRP, Organizational Preparation, and Costing factors which are the main variables in supporting DRP readiness. The conclusion from this study, through these three new factors a mathematical model can be built as a reference for improving DRP implementation in corporations.

For wind power systems to operate successfully and efficiently, accurate forecasting is critical. The integration of large wind farms with smart grid technology mainly depend on accurate models for wind power output prediction. This study introduces a neural basis expansion approach named N-BEATS (neural basis expansion analysis for interpretable time series forecasting) for time series multi-step wind power forecasting. N-BEATS is a deep neural network architecture composed of multiple fully connected layers, arranged with both forward and backward residual connections. The performance of N-BEATS was benchmarked using classical approaches including AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Seasonal AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA), Holt-Winters, and the recurrent neural network named Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). All models hyperparameters were tuned by Bayesian optimization. The N-BEATS model demonstrated superior forecasting scores and outperformed traditional methods in metrics such as mean absolute error and root mean square error for different forecasting horizons.
