Technology advancement generates new opportunities to make current business flow simpler and efficient, especially in P2P lending business model. Many companies create online digital platforms to promote new customer experience as marketplace or mediator between lender and borrower to make it easier to interact with each other's. Often transactions that happen inside the platform is not transparent that many lenders accidentally lend their money to problematic borrowers, resulting the lender cannot get their money on time. The purpose of this research is to design a smart contract system in marketplace lending using blockchain technology. The lack of lender control and trust in P2P lending platforms to select the right borrowers can be overcome by implementing blockchain systems and smart contracts. The findings of the field study and literature review show that not only blockchain and smart contracts can provide lenders with better information when selecting borrowers to carry out various transparent transactions, but also speed up the lending business process itself. In the blockchain system, all historical data is stored and thus can improve the process of checking data in the system. Implementing a blockchain and smart contract system on a P2P lending platform can increase trust, reduce delays and be more transparent. © 2023 IEEE.

Education stands out as one of the most impactful applications of the metaverse, holding immense potential for the future. Within the realm of satellite communication system science education, the integration of immersive learning through the metaverse adds a layer of interest and interactivity to the teaching and learning process. Numerous design and evaluation techniques have been employed in a growing body of research, aiming to understand how immersive learning via the metaverse can effectively contribute to specific educational objectives. Hence, this research is dedicated to delving into the development of an immersive learning metaverse model for the science of satellite communication systems. The research contributes a model that advocates for a holistic learning approach by integrating metaverse technology, VR, the 6E Instructional Process Model, and the MSLQ evaluation instrument. The objective of this model is to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and interactivity of learning within the field of satellite communication systems science. © 2024 IEEE.

The present of Covid pandemic has introduced the significance of telemedicine as an important tool to assist wider patients and reduce contact risks. The article takes a case study of SG Hospital Indonesia (SGH) that has many affiliate health cares around Indonesia that aggressively to have further collaboration with local health care such as clinics, laboratories and pharmacies. Although it delivers many benefits, scholars addressed the implementation of telemedicine poses many security risks especially within outdated security procedures that have been implemented in many health cares. The article proposes the development of Telekami (SGH telemedicine app) by using smart contract feature in Hyperledger Fabric blockchain technology. Hyperledger solution has been adopted widely in B2B application. The use of smart contract is expected to provide secure and more health business services. © 2023 IEEE.

Community Development (Comdev) program is one of the key activities that needs to be undertaken by all higher education institutions. Comdev is designated to maximize knowledge transfer from academicians to communities and industries. Comdev endeavors typically involve a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including lecturers, students, local communities, corporate entities, and government bodies. Each stakeholder has a different interest, and in many cases, collaboration does not work well. Collaboration, at times, encounters roadblocks due to differing interests and levels of commitment. Some lecturers and students may not take the Comdev project seriously and only viewed it as a mere obligation, which can negatively impact results. This research discusses an innovative solution to address this challenge: Creating a Community Development (Comdev) system infused with gamification using the MDA framework. By incorporating gamification, community development programs can be more exciting and engaging, motivating individuals to actively participate. Additionally, it offers a real-time, data-driven system for monitoring program progress, helping program coordinators identify areas that require attention or improvement, ultimately contributing to more efficient and effective community development initiatives. © 2023 IEEE.

This research examines the potential impact of using a new credit scoring model that incorporates factors beyond the traditional FICO credit score model to address the issue of predatory lending and financial inclusion for "credit invisible," "credit unscorable," "unbankable," and "underbankable" individuals. The lack of credit history for such borrowers creates a challenge for lenders to assess their creditworthiness, leading to the use of unfair lending practices. The research analyzed a dataset containing credit reports and loan information for 1000 applicants to investigate the shortcoming of the FICO score and the impact of new attributes in a new credit scoring model. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Team management is essential to achieve common goals. Although it sounds important, many organisations do not have appropriate framework to support developing an effective teamwork. As a result, organisations face high dissatisfactions, poor quality of work and high turnover. The article takes a case study of Spectrum Radio-Frequency Monitoring (SRFM) department, Ministry of Communication and Information, Pangkal Pinang, Riau. The SRFM has around 25 staff (divided into 6 task forces) are provided around 104 tasks to complete annually. There was no proper task management structure is found to manage those tasks. The stress level amongst staffs is quite along with dissatisfactions and high turnover. The article proposes improving collaboration mechanism by using MDA (gamification) method. The gamification is selected due to its popularity in promoting motivation and morale of staff in business. The outcome is expected to provide effective teamwork to reach common goals. © 2024 IEEE.

This study comprehensively describes the application of linear electromagnetic actuators in automotive suspension systems, focusing on the electromagnetic force necessary in suspension systems operating in passive, semi-active, and active modes and their capability for energy regeneration. The use of electromagnetic actuators as an alternative to traditional shock absorbers makes easy the energy harvesting that is typically lost during vertical vehicle displacement. An initial sizing technique for dimensioning electromagnetic actuators is applied to estimate the requirements for heavy vehicles. Experimental tests are conducted to validate the proposed method and assess the performance of the electromagnetic actuator in the suspension system for passive, semi-active, and active operations. A suitable extrapolation of the validated data is performed to determine the feasibility of the application of the proposed solution for heavy vehicles and identify potential applications and markets based on the road conditions of the ISO 8608 standard. This study offers a comprehensive approach to determining the actuator force for the suspension system and/or studying its potential for energy regeneration. As a result, it becomes possible to analyze the viability of the actuator replacement and provides important insights for further research and development. © 2023 SAE International. The important role of Information systems in a company is to support business processes so that they become more effective and efficient, but information technology performance factors are also important to know so that the contribution of information technology infrastructure in the company can be truly measured with certainty. This study was conducted to provide an overview of how to determine key performance indicators in performance measurement through the IT Balance Scorecard. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) approach was used to process the data, several respondents were asked to provide their opinions through a questionnaire built with the development of research instruments based on the IT Balance Scorecard measurement theory. The results of the study showed that there were 4 (four) new factors that could be used as key performance indicators related to the four perspectives in measuring IT Balance Scorecard performance, namely: quality of information activities, application usability, IT division support, and information system integration. In particular, the usability of the application system proved to be an important element that influenced application performance. However, existing applications are generally criticized for providing inadequate quality information. The impact of this study will increase understanding of information technology performance measurement because the formation of a picture of the current measurement model that can be used to determine better implementation strategies in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

Nearly the whole Indonesian Archipelago is threatened by earthquake hazards, both on a small and large scale. This indicates Indonesia's susceptibility to earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and other geological calamities. With the assistance of other pertinent ministries and institutions, the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) in Indonesia is in charge of carrying out disaster management at the national level. In order for mitigation to function effectively and efficiently, this research is vital since it is based on the establishment of an evaluation model for an urban knowledge management system in Indonesia. The goal of the project is to create an assessment model for Indonesian urban knowledge management systems that can be applied to the deployment of autonomous socialization programs for disaster mitigation. Factor analysis and regression analysis are the primary techniques used in this work. Regression analysis is used to create a model that can represent the current state of mitigation socialization and be used to develop implementation strategies in the future. Factor analysis is used to identify dominant factors in the implementation of knowledge management systems that support independent socialization. © 2024 IEEE.

This research was conducted in Indonesia during a sampling period from February to October 2024. This study successfully collected data from 444 participants, predominantly situated in Jakarta. This research utilizes purposive sampling. It classifies individuals based on gender, occupation, monthly income, educational background, age, and housing location. This study assesses societal awareness of climate change and the propensity to adopt behavioural intentions for utilizing E-commerce to support green consumption. Adopting green products has been essential in mitigating the growing global climate change issue. The results of this research can significantly assist businesses, professionals, and scholars dedicated to employing sustainable practices to combat climate change. In contemporary society, individuals predominantly rely on social media. Consequently, it can function as a conduit for enhancing knowledge of environmental concerns. Prior studies demonstrate that Generation Z generally allocates an average of 6 to 7 hours daily to interact with various social media sites, such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Facebook. Individuals today depend on digital channels as their principal source of information. Moreover, the utilization of user-generated content on digital platforms can affect and encourage users to participate in specific behaviours or make targeted acquisitions. This research aims to illustrate the significant impact of user-generated content in enhancing environmental awareness, acknowledging its intrinsic potential. Consequently, it is essential to promote society's shift towards sustainable products. © 2024 IEEE.
