Hyperautomation for Air Quality Evaluations: A Perspective of Evidential Three-way Decision-making

Hyperautomation acts as a real digital transformation with the support of several cutting-edge cognitive computation methods that include robotic process automation, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and other emerging ones, which is conducive to processing complex industrial processes via extending the range of various data-driven cognitive decision-making algorithms. The study of air quality evaluations (AQE) plays a significant role in ensuring healthy atmospheric environments. In view of the objective existence of uncertainties, AQE can be modeled and addressed by a typical data-driven automated decision-making problem, and hyperautomation can provide a reasonable solution via associating with a variety of techniques. This article explores hyperautomation for AQE via evidential three-way large-scale group decision-making (LSGDM) in an intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) setting. First, the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) is incorporated into the paradigm of multi-granularity (MG) three-way decisions (TWD), and the model of adjustable MG IF probabilistic rough sets (PRSs) is developed. Second, an IF clustering analysis with the improved technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method is conducted to affirm representative members within a decision group. Third, a novel IF LSGDM method is built via adjustable MG IF PRSs and the evidence reasoning (ER) method. Finally, a case study in the setting of AQE is studied by using the presented evidential three-way LSGDM method. Corresponding experimental analyses are carried out for illustrating the efficiency of hyperautomation for AQE. In general, the proposed method improves the performance of information fusion by virtue of adjustable MG IF PRSs, and the TOPSIS method avoids the influence of subjective factors on decision results. Modern healthcare systems demand comprehensive information systems but face obstacles during adoption. Organizational and structural complexity, especially decentralized systems, challenges the integrated management and sharing of data across information systems. Interoperability is critical to address these issues effectively in heterogeneous and distributed environments. However, different medical terminology hinders interoperability within health information systems. To address this, a systematic literature review examined various medical terminology standards for national interoperability. From 790 articles, 12 were selected according to PRISMA guidelines with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Standard health terminology is critical to achieving interoperability, and many countries have adopted it, although some have required adaptation to accommodate local contexts. Data models, governance, and maintenance of standards are equally important in achieving national interoperability. In addition, standardized health terminology promotes consistency and uniformity in terminology, which is beneficial for decision-making by stakeholders in the health system. © 2023 IEEE.

An information system is an important part in an organization to support business processes and to achieve its vision and mission. These days,deep learning and computer vision are much-growing fields in this modern world of information *** learning algorithms and computer vision have achieved great success in different applications like image classification,speech recognition,self-driving vehicles,disease diagnostics,and many *** success in various applications,it is found that these learning algorithms face severe threats due to adversarial *** examples are inputs like images in the computer vision field,which are intentionally slightly changed or *** changes are humanly *** are misclassified by a model with high probability and severely affects the performance or *** this scenario,we present a deep image restoration model that restores adversarial examples so that the target model is classified correctly *** proved that our defense method against adversarial attacks based on a deep image restoration model is simple and state-of-the-art by providing strong experimental results *** have used MNIST and CIFAR10 datasets for experiments and analysis of our defense *** the end,we have compared our method to other state-ofthe-art defense methods and proved that our results are better than other rival methods.

Decision support systems have been widely applied in various sectors in which a vast of models and algorithms have been researched and developed based on knowledge graphs. Recently, Fuzzy Knowledge Graph (FKG) has overcome the challenge of handling uncertain, incomplete input data in decision support systems;yet still its performance could be improved through the integration of multiple data sources. This paper proposes a novel conceptual framework of FKG called FKGF based on multiple data sources. The experimental results based on multiple data sources in the healthcare sector (including ***, kaggle, hospital, etc.) show that the proposed framework gives positive results when combining data from many different sources. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Compared to relying only on audio information, incorporating visual information improves speech recognition accuracy in noisy environments. Existing works are prone to design specific architecture for feature extraction, neglecting feature enhancement. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end Mandarin audio-visual speech recognition model with a Feature Enhancement Module. Specifically, we design a Feature Enhancement Module (FEM) that uses deconvolution and up-sampling to obtain the twin enhanced data for generating high-resolution feature representation. We further develop the Visual Feature Enhancement Module (Visual FEM) and Audio Feature Enhancement Module (Audio FEM) to enhance feature extraction from both visual data and audio data. We incorporate the proposed modules into the blocks of the Residual Network for accurate audio-visual speech recognition. We conducted experiments on the CAS-VSR-W1k and Chinese Mandarin Lip Reading (CMLR) datasets. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the selected competitive baselines and the state-of-the-art, indicating the superiority of our proposed modules. © 2023 IEEE.

Data mining is an analytical process of knowledge discovery in large and complex data sets. Many studies wish to explore data, to find information so that knowledge can be obtained through the grouping process, classification, rules discovery, associations and data mining visualization which shows similarity. Periodic data often occurs in business applications and sciences that has big size, high dimension and continuously updated. The similarity in periodic data is based on several approaches. One of common approaches is to transform periodic series into other domains so that dimensions are reduced, followed by index mechanism. Many studies of time series do not give optimal result because limited to extracting data not able to represent time series and its pattern which is then change into rules. Rules can be found in time series data, but they are still constrained by over fitting and difficult to present. It causes time series data and non linier function of data mining decision can't be optimal. The basic idea in the method proposed is to do periodic discretization for sub-sequential formation. These sub-sequences are grouped through a measure of similarity. The simple rule-finding technique is applied to obtain hidden rules in the temporal pattern. The optimal time series data expected to generate the uncertainty trend, previously unknown and can be used to make decisions or forecasting in the future. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The rapid expansion of Instagram content marked by a large volume of photos and comments demands effective methods for discovering topics. While hashtags facilitate the grouping of posts, categorizing these hashtags into specific topics is challenging task due to the multimodal and noisy nature of content on the platform. In this paper, we introduce a novel approach that leverages multimodal features and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for the topic classification of hashtags. To achieve this, we develop a dataset InstaHash which includes 464 hashtags and 12,345 posts spanning five topic categories: army, politics, sports, judiciary, and religion. We extract text features using the TF-IDF algorithm and visual features using HSV, SIFT, ResNet50, and VGG16 algorithms. Additionally, we introduce 34 binary features derived from the VLM of LLAVA through prompt engineering. These prompt engineering features examine the six aspects of images such as people, symbols and objects, buildings, events, uniforms, and embedded text. We train four classifiers of Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression (LR), Decision Tree (DT), and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for topic classification of hashtags. Our analysis reveals that combining text and visual features yields an accuracy of 0.89 for topic classification with the CNN classifier. However, by incorporating additional prompt features into the model, we achieve the highest accuracy of 0.96. Moreover, we notice that prompt features related to aspects of people and symbols are the most important features for the topic classification of hashtags. © 2024 IEEE.

Heart Disease remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide. It alarmingly rises at a quick rate, making early heart disease prediction crucial for effective prevention and timely intervention. Heart disease diagnosis is a difficult process that requires technical skills and accuracy to complete. With improvements in technology, computing has lent its voice to simplify the diagnosis of various health problems. Machine learning uses past or existing history to predict future results. Various machine learning techniques have been developed over the years and used in predicting heart diseases with various levels of performance. Identifying the best-suited machine learning technique to use for prediction purposes can be a challenging task. This research work analyses the performance of seven (7) machine learning techniques, comprising AdaBoost Algorithm, KNN, Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes Classifier, Random Forest, SVM, and XGBoost. The heart disease dataset was downloaded from the UCI repository and analysed using Python programming language in the Jupyter Notebook environment. A comparative analysis of the seven (7) techniques was performed based on Accuracy, Precision, and Recall. From the results obtained, KNN, Random Forest, and XGBoost showed superior performance over the others with an accuracy of 100%, AdaBoost Algorithm followed with an accuracy of 92.2%, SVM followed with an accuracy of 91.71%, Naïve Bayes Classifier followed with an accuracy of 88.29% while Logistic Regression has the least accuracy of 86.34%. KNN, RF, and XGBoost outperformed AdaBoost, SVN, and LR. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Smart Home technology offers technological concepts that can be controlled through smart devices to make it easier for the community. Therefore, smart home technology is starting to seize the home electronics market in Indonesia, especially in the city of Jakarta. This study aims to determine the integration of conventional technology into smart home technology for people in Jakarta. The research model in this study uses UTAUT2 which analyzes nine variables, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Cost, Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, Perceived Compatibility, Trust, Perceived Pleasure, and Effort Expectations, Intention to Use Smart Home technology. After the responses were received, data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM approach with the SmartPLS application. The results of this study show that there are many people who live in Jakarta who are helped by the presence of smart home technology. However, there are some people who don't really know how to use a smart home because of a lack of knowledge about this technology. © 2023 IEEE.
