In today's environment, financial knowledge is vital and should be possessed by everyone. Numerous people are financially disadvantaged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This serves as a reminder of the critical nature of financial investment in the future. However, many Indonesians, particularly students, are still unfamiliar with capital market investing. In reality, investing in the stock market can provide a variety of benefits, including financial security, capital appreciation, and passive income. Financial literacy concerns can result in a lack of financial awareness among pupils. Indeed, financial literacy is widely available online and can be accessed at any time and from any location. We employed a quantitative method with a non-experimental research design for this study. A questionnaire survey is used to obtain data. The goal of this study is to determine whether there is a correlation between student interest in capital market investment and their digital financial literacy. As a result, extensive action is required to increase student interest in the capital market, which is precisely what this study wants to do. According to our findings, students who have access to digital financial and investment information have increased their financial literacy and developed a greater interest in investing in the capital market. Individuals are also encouraged by social media trends to try their hand at investing in the stock market. Additionally, students prefer to invest in stocks and mutual funds over other investing options. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

One of the electronic media that provides a source of entertainment and information for its audience is television programs. The quality of television programs is assessed based on ratings. In addition, public opinion also has a crucial role, and this is because this opinion can be used as data to carry out sentiment analysis by classifying whether the opinion is included in the category of positive or negative sentiment. The problem requires an efficient decision-making system, such as a machine learning algorithm. This study aims to develop a classification of sentiment analysis using Random Forest and Decision Tree algorithms. The dataset used is a public opinion tweet dataset on Twitter for four television programs with five attributes: the number of retweets, id, sentiment, tv show, and tweet text. The results of testing the two algorithm models show that the Random Forest and Decision Tree models have different performance levels. The Decision Tree has lower performance with an accuracy of 74.66%, precision of 76.13%, recall of 78.75%, and an f1-score of 76.73%. Meanwhile, Random Forest has higher performance with an accuracy of 84.06%, precision of 83.65%, recall of 82.80%, and f1-score of 82.32% with a comparison of test data and training data of 20:80. Based on these results, the Random Forest model has the best performance compared to the Decision Tree in classifying television program sentiment based on user opinions in social media. © 2023 IEEE.

Tourist destination reviews on Google Maps have become a valuable point of reference for visitors seeking enjoyable spots to visit. Additionally, users can gain insight into the reasons for writing reviews. Text classification is used to determine the motivation behind these reviews. The aim of this study is to compare machine learning (ML) text classification techniques for identifying the intent behind sentiments expressed as complaints (0), suggestions (1), opinions (2), statements(3), and awards (4). The ML techniques assessed are Multinomial Naive Bayes (MNB), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). To achieve this, tourist destination review data sets, comprising 738 reviews, were collected using web scraping from the Google Maps website. Preprocessing stages, including case-folding, tokenisation, filtering and stemming, are executed prior to the data being prepped for feature extraction with TF-IDF. The employed classification models perform well with KNN achieving 1.00 accuracy on a 90:10 data split, and SVM obtaining 0.90 on the same data split. Although, the Multinomial Naive Bayes algorithm with 0.70 accuracy on a 90:10 data split is classified as fair. Comparison of methods was conducted by means of a Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) diagram. The testing accuracy for the SVM method was found to be 95%, MNB at 91%, and KNN at 84%. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid development of technology and ease of information today greatly affects all aspects of life. During the COVID-19 pandemic, technology played an important role in maintaining community activities continued smoothly despite being hampered by several health policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many phenomena develop with new technologies in several fields, one in the economic field is e-commerce. E-commerce is a site that makes it easier for buyers to get the goods desired by the community, as well as the various interesting promos that are the attractiveness of the community to constantly shop in e-commerce so that the community applies consumptive behavior. So that the problem that will be discussed in this study is the development of e-commerce technology that affects people’s behavior in shopping which tends to be consumptive and hedonic. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact or effect of the use of e-commerce on consumptive behavior during the pandemic period and provide an overview of the potential regarding e-commerce in the future. This research method is quantitative. The data collection technique used for this study is to use a questionnaire. Thus, this research is expected to minimize the negative impacts that can be caused by the increasing consumptive behavior of society during the pandemic and provide wise e-commerce use. The results of this study can be seen from calculations using a formula that respondents tend to be more extravagant during the pandemic and for future potential, respondents will certainly enjoy the convenience provided by e-commerce. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Transfer learning-based methods for Channel State information (CSI) feedback can achieve a good CSI reconstruction performance with small amounts of computation time and cost. However, for higher efficacy, such methods need to fine-tune a properly selected source channel model each time. This is because fine-tuning a model trained on drastically different data will suffer from slow convergence and non-optimal performance, which defies the purpose of transfer-learning. In this paper, we use a one-stage algorithm utilizing k-nearest neighbors (k-NN) and Deep Neural Network (DNN) methods to classify the downlink Clustered Delay Line (CDL) channels into one of 5 channel models with the help of a selected set of features. Based on the classification results, the appropriate source channel model for fine-tuning is selected, and the model is fine-tuned on the received data. To demonstrate the usefulness of our method, we compare its results to those of existing methods. Through simulation, we show that the overall classification accuracy for 5 CDL channel models using the one-step algorithm is 80.73%. Upon classification, and by selecting the proper source model, our method can reach a better normalized mean square error (NMSE) of CSI feedback performance in a shorter time and with fewer samples. © 2025 IEEE.

People’s perspectives and behaviors altered in a variety of ways during the pandemic period, most notably in areas related to health, environment, and most notably waste management. Many people still prefer to work from home and this in turn leads to a large accumulation of garbage without having any proper means of disposal. As a result, the garbage area will serve as a breeding ground for illness. Garbage is usually composed of a residual waste generated from a product or object that has outlived its useful life, but can still be recycled into a valuable item. On this basis, the solution is to use a waste bank;it is a collection point for sorted garbage. It is claimed that using a waste bank can help in preventing the garbage accumulation. The main purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of the waste bank to end garbage accumulation. The information gathered through a review of the literature and direct interviews with multiple informants. According to the findings of the literature review, waste banks can provide a variety of benefits to users, as well as the community and surrounding environment. The proposed research study's findings show that the changes in community activity patterns contribute to an increase in garbage, and that the community plays an important role in waste control. From the performed research study, it is evident that m any individuals are interested about garbage banks and their benefits based on this presumption. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The objective of Multimodal Knowledge Graph Completion (MKGC) is to forecast absent entities within a knowledge graph by leveraging additional textual and visual modalities. Existing studies commonly utilize a singular relationship embedding to depict all modalities within an entity pair, thus connecting several relationships derived from diverse modalities. However, this coupling may introduce interference from conflicting information between modalities, as the relationships between modalities for a given entity pair can be contradictory. Moreover, existing Ensemble Inference methods fail to dynamically adjust modal weights based on their differences and importance, despite the varying contributions of different modalities. In this paper, we propose the Multimodal Decouple and Relation-based Ensemble inference (MDRE) model. For each modality, we construct corresponding relationship embeddings and build separate triple representations to avoid interferences among modalities. During the training phase, we employ confidence-constrained training with temperature scaling to alleviate conflicting information in textual and visual modalities. For inference, we utilize the Relation-based Ensemble Inference method to adjust modal weights at the relationship level, thus achieving improved prediction results. Experimental results on two datasets demonstrate that MDRE outperforms existing single-modal and multimodal knowledge graph completion methods in terms of performance. © 2023 IEEE.

The aim of this paper is to predict the extent to which students will accept robotics technology in future teaching plans. The study involves students engaging in a two-week project-based learning program on robotics technology, after which they will decide whether it is suitable for them. To achieve this, the paper uses several prediction algorithms based on Machine Learning (ML), including Linear Regression (LR), Ridge Regression (RR), Elastic Net (EN) regression, and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) models. The sample group consists of 35 students from STEM high schools in Egypt. The research findings indicate that the students have gained confidence and satisfaction in robotics technology and believe it will have significant value in the future. The prediction results obtained from the ML regression models support these findings. The dataset used in the study includes seven input features and one target output representing the total prediction values of accepting and rejecting robotics technology in STEM schools. The regression models LR, RR, EN, and KNN achieve determination coefficients (R2) of 99.99%, 98.80%,99.20%, and 85.60%, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

Speaker diarization plays a vital role in speech transcription involving conversations as it improves the transcribed content's accuracy, comprehension, and usability. By having a speech transcription diarized, the conversation data has a more structured presentation, allowing for a variety of applications that rely on accurate speaker attribution. Even so, speaker diarization is a field that has been less explored for low-resourced languages, as current resources that have been optimized and applied in speaker diarization are mostly for more developed and well-resourced languages, such as English, Spanish or French. In this paper, we propose an approach to using pseudo-labelled speech data to perform self-training on the x-vector models to improve diarization accuracy. The proposed method uses almost 13 hours Sarawak Malay unlabeled conversational speech corpus obtained from the Kalaka: Language Map of Malaysia website for training, as well as 1 hour and 26 minutes of manually labeled Sarawak Malay speech data for testing and evaluation. We demonstrate how speaker diarization models can be fine-tuned with the pseudo-labeled data. © 2023 IEEE.
