This research paper focuses on increasing the awareness between taxi users and can help to protect themselves in COVID-19 and take precautions. Since 2019 the global pandemic of Covid-19 is spreading at an astonishing rate and causes a negative impact for economic, social, and cultural factors. Government agencies are warning people to reduce the transportation and to maintain social distance. To stop the spread of COVID-19 required to identify persons who are susceptible to infection and need to trace the COVID-19 positive first contacts. Most people are reduced to using public transportations and taxi services due to unidentifiable health conditions in earlier users. The proposed approach can be used to track the taxi drivers and their passengers previous COVID-19 status as well as navigate the safest route by showing the COVID-19 contamination areas. By using this approach users can be aware of earlier users of the taxi service and COVID-19 status of the taxi driver or passenger before taking the trip as well as if they get touch with any COVID-19 patients, can take immediate precautions. This application helps to increase the usage of taxis by making users trust and confidence against COVID-19 infection. By testing with real users our system was able to trace down 45 passengers and 16 drivers within 3 months. © 2022 IEEE.

An infrared solar spectrum observed by ground-based telescopes is seriously affected by the background radiation both from the telescope and sky,relative to the visible *** accuracy is also influenced by the spectral resolution of the Fourier transform *** the paper,we developed a CO_(2)gas cell and installed it in the sample compartment to calibrate the spectral resolution of the Bruker IFS-125HR at infrared *** measured spectral resolution is 0.00342±0.00086 cm^(-1)and 0.0059±0.00024 cm^(-1)at the wavenumbers of798 cm^(-1)and 2136 cm^(-1),*** also updated a fully reflective sunlight feeding system to observe the solar spectrum near CO 4.66μm and Mg I 12.32μ*** quickly pointing the sunlight feeding system about1 degree away from the solar disk center,we are able to measure the background radiation from the telescope and the sky at Huairou Solar Observing *** removing the background radiation,our observed solar spectrum at CO 4.66μm is consistent with that from the National Solar *** Mg I 12.32μm working line selected by the Accurate Infrared Magnetic Field Measurements of the Sun(AIMS)project is also *** method is helpful not only for the spectral resolution calibration and background radiation correction of AIMS but also for other infrared astronomical telescopes.

In recent years, the number of Thai low-income workers has kept growing, especially workers who work abroad, however, improving their life by connecting them with the government via the MIM (Mobile Instant Messaging) community platform has still not yet been studied. Previously studies were limited to the aspect of the worker's life in healthcare services. This study had two aims. First, could anonymity help engage Thai low-income workers to seek health information or work-related information from the government through the MIM community platform Second, how the MIM community platform helps improve their quality of life in perceiving information. We conducted the survey through questionnaires and interviews focusing on health information and work-related information perceptiveness of workers after being introduced to the MIM community platform (also known as LINE Open Chat). The preliminary results showed that the MIM community, on the user's side, gives a sense of security due to its anonymity feature and sense of trust for real-Time responses along with the sense of belonging from the MIM community model. On managerial contribution, the MIM is cheaper and more convenient for the government to manage. We also included group size suggestion, which is limited based on the purpose of information perceptiveness, to reduce information overload and confusion. © 2023 Owner/Author.

System-level performance evaluation over satellite networks often requires a simulated or emulated environment for reproducibility and low cost. However, the existing tools may not meet the needs for scenarios such as the low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks. To address the problem, this letter proposes and implements a trace-driven emulation method based on Linux's eBPF technology. Building a Starlink traces collection system, we demonstrate that the method can effectively and efficiently emulate the connection conditions, and therefore provides a means for evaluating applications on local hosts. © 2019 IEEE.

Recently, cross-modal hashing has attracted much attention in large-scale image retrieval scenarios. However, most existing methods ignore the potential higher-order relationships and label semantic information between heterogeneous modality data. Besides, the imbalanced training samples could bias the learning process in most classes and affect the retrieval performance. To solve the above problems, we proposed a Joint-semantics Multi-Similarity Hashing method for cross-modal retrieval (JMSH). We first construct a joint semantic similarity matrix, which supervises hash learning by integrating multi-modal features and semantic labels. This method generates higher-order semantic features that maintain semantic correlation effectively. Then, we propose a multi-similarity loss based on adaptive margin, which can collect and weight informative pairs efficiently and accurately, thus producing more discriminative hashing code and improving retrieval performance. Extensive experiments on two benchmark datasets show the superiority of JMSH in cross-modal retrieval tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

Technological advancements are increasingly evident across various sectors, including automobiles, industry, and healthcare. In precision agriculture, significant progress has been made, with AgroTICs and Smart Agriculture gaining substantial traction in the market. However, a gap remains between cutting-edge technology and family farming, presenting a challenge from both social and applied research perspectives. However, there is still a gap between cutting-edge technology and family farming, which creates a challenge from a social and applied research point of view. In this context, this paper proposes a monitoring model based on Fuzzy Logic and sensor automation applied to estimate the health of a corn crop. The proposed Fuzzy inference system involves calculating an indicator of nutrients as well as the average color and area of corn plants. The nutrient indicator is automatically computed by an ESP32 microcontroller using sensor readings, while the average color and area inputs are manually entered via a mobile application. Additionally, the Fuzzy inference is integrated into the ESP32. The model underwent experimental validation on the health of the plantation, and the results were evaluated in four areas: one was designated for testing, and three were for validation. The model achieved an accuracy of 97.5% in Scenario 3, categorized as 'Very Favorable', and an accuracy of 65% in Scenarios 2 and 4, categorized as 'Unfavorable'. The implications of this research contribute to the advancement of AgroTICs among small producers, with the potential to enhance and automate the monitoring of their harvest production. © 2024 IEEE.

Dual Radial-Resonant Wide Beamwidth Circular Sector Microstrip Patch Antennas

In this article, a design approach to a radial-resonant wide beamwidth circular sector patch antenna is advanced. As properly evolved from a U-shaped d ipole, a prototype magnetic dipole can be fit in the radial direction of a circular sector patch radiator, with its length set as the positive odd-integer multiples of onequarter wavelength. In this way, multiple TM0m（m = 1,2,...） modes resonant circular sector patch antenna with short-circuited circumference and widened E-plane beamwidth can be realized by proper excitation and perturbations. Prototype antennas are then designed and fabricated to validate the design approach. Experimental results reveal that the E-plane beamwidth of a dual-resonant antenna fabricated on air/Teflon substrate can be effectively broadened to 128°/120°, with an impedance bandwidth of 17.4%/7.1%, respectively. In both cases, the antenna heights are strictly limited to no more than 0.03-guided wavelength. It is evidently validated that the proposed approach can effectively enhance the operational bandwidth and beamwidth of a microstrip patch antenna while maintaining its inherent low profile merit.

This study focuses on brain tumor detection and segmentation using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with architectures of Fully Convolutional Net-work (FCN) and VGG16. The dataset imported for this study consists of brain MRI images, which were preprocessed to improve the overall image resolution. Data augmentation techniques were applied to heighten the variability and volume of the training data. For feature extraction, CNN models were utilized, specifically the VGG16 architectures. This model was trained on a preprocessed dataset to learn the important features associated with the presence of brain tumor. Image segmentation was performed to precisely outline and identify the tumor region within the brain images. FCN architecture was employed for this task, which allowed pixel-level classification of tumor regions. Finally, image classification was carried out to group brain images based on the absence or presence of a tumor. The trained models were evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall and F1score as the performance metrics. The results of the study demonstrated promising outcomes, achieving an accuracy score of 93% and a precision, recall and f1score ranging from 75% to 100% based on the specific type of tumor enlisted. This indicates that the developed CNN models, with the FCN and VGG16 architectures, effectively detect and segment brain tumors from MRI images. The findings of this study contribute to the field of medical image analysis and gives a foundation for further research and development in brain tumor diagnosis and treatment. The study recommends the use of more deep learning algorithms for the process of detecting brain tumors. © 2024 IEEE.

Despite significant work in HCI on understanding the role of data tools for non-profits and grassroots communities, there has been limited focus on cooperatives. This paper examines the role of financial, social, and building upkeep data in a non-profit cooperative housing organization in Toronto, Canada (alias named NXI). Through a 16-month-long ethnographic study, including 24 interviews, we investigate the role of and tensions in data practices related to NXI's daily maintenance and operations, cooperation, and sustainability. We find that NXI's current data practices are functional and meaningful - sometimes requiring team workarounds - in the short term. However, various tensions and deficiencies in data practices hamper NXI's sustainability. By contextualizing the temporal affordances of data, we propose design implications for data tools to align effectively with the practices of cooperatives and enhance organizational sustainability. Finally, we discuss how data designers and researchers, organizations or grassroots communities, and financial technology designers can benefit from our work, especially with regard to the maintenance and sustainability of small-scale organizations. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Quantum encoding is a process to transform classical information into quantum states. It plays a crucial role in using quantum algorithms to solve classical problems, especially in quantum machine learning tasks. There are many QE methods. It is very difficult to determine which QE method to choose to improve classification accuracy. Therefore, this paper will analyze several QE methods. Training and testing on Iris flower datasets were performed in a architecture quantum circuit and some performances parameters were evaluated. The expected result is that we can compare the classification accuracy of some of these Quantum encodings.
