IT/OT convergence in the form of a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) presents an opportunity to apply recent information technology (IT) advancements to Operational technology (OT). The IT/OT convergence introduces cyber security threats for OT. The OT communication protocols, for example, have limited or no security capabilities for securing data exchange beyond basic authentication. The RNG (Random Number Generator) function is crucial in PLC for producing the encryption keys or the initial seed for security algorithms. The software-based PRNG (Pseudo RNG) is the most common approach for RNG in OT, instead of hardware-based RNG. This study provides a systematic literature review of the most recent evidence in digital transformation to secure data exchange in smart factories, within OT, or across OT and IT settings. It does this by looking at the PRNG on PLC and identifying the most recent trends and best practices. The findings include up-to-date data on author countries' distribution, published journals, research trends, industries, and industry types. The findings also address whether data flow is encrypted or shared in plaintext to ensure secure data transfer between IT and legacy OT environments. This paper concludes that while there is known RNG implementation in the actual embedded system in ICS, there is no evidence in the literature for using RNG in ICS networks for PLC implementation to secure data transfer with encryption. © 2024 IEEE.

Digital transformation is about transforming processes, business models, domains, and culture. Studies show that the failure rate of digital transformation is quite high up to 90%. Studies show that the transformational leadership model has a significant impact on digital transformation adoption. This paper identifies the positive and negative attributes of transformational leadership including the components that support and are affected for successful adoption of digital transformation. Furthermore, the paper combines several findings related to the attributes and components in the form of a conceptual framework. The conceptual framework can serve as a guide for organizations for their digital transformation journey. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Object Constraint Language(OCL)is one kind of lightweight formal specification,which is widely used for software verification and validation in NASA and Object Management Group *** OCL provides a simple expressive syntax,it is hard for the developers to write correctly due to lacking knowledge of the mathematical foundations of the first-order logic,which is approximately half accurate at the first stage of devel-opment.A deep neural network named DeepOCL is proposed,which takes the unre-stricted natural language as inputs and automatically outputs the best-scored OCL candidates without requiring a domain conceptual model that is compulsively required in existing rule-based generation *** demonstrate the validity of our proposed approach,ablation experiments were conducted on a new sentence-aligned dataset named *** experiments show that the proposed DeepOCL can achieve state of the art for OCL statement generation,scored 74.30 on BLEU,and greatly outperformed experienced developers by 35.19%.The proposed approach is the first deep learning approach to generate the OCL expression from the natural *** can be further developed as a CASE tool for the software industry.

A vehicle has a license plate and can be identified by the license number attached to the vehicle plate. For detection and recognition, multimedia sensors can be used so that it requires a vehicle tracking application that has a vehicle monitoring function and has implications for various fields. One of them is a multimedia sensor that requires an optimal design and method in the form of the number of multimedia sensors to be used, the placement of the multimedia sensor positions and solutions in the event of a system failure. To achieve multimedia sensor performance, research on multimedia sensors is carried out using a camera type with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) technology which is similar to a pair of right and left eyes to see an object. The objects detected were 2 cars, where the car passed the camera sensor at a speed of 10-15 km/hour 20 times. Changes in the distance of the vehicle to the camera affect the disparity value and the object's accuracy value, namely and the object's Accuracy value of the minimum disparity value of 6.20×106 of 16.88×109. © 2022 ACM.

Fetal development needs to be carried out to determine the condition of the fetus in pregnant women. Detection of fetal development can be done using a medical tool called Ultrasonography (USG). Ultrasound images produce color images with varying levels of gray. The problem that occurs in detecting fetal development at this time is that the detection process carried out by medical personnel in identifying fetal development in ultrasound images is still not optimal. Given these shortcomings, image processing is needed to handle problems in the process of measuring fetal development. This research aims to measure fetal development using the image segmentation process. The segmentation process was carried out using thresholding techniques and image morphology, and measurements were continued using the Iterative Randomized Hough Transform (IRHT) algorithm. This research uses test data of 35 ultrasound images in Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) format. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the segmentation process using thresholding and morphology techniques can provide an accuracy of 91.16%. With these results, this research has contributed to minimizing errors, increasing measurement accuracy, and providing a stronger basis for making decisions about fetal development. © 2024 IEEE.

Creating pixel-level ground-truth (GT) masks is quite costly for deep learning-based image segmentation. Specialists in areas such as anomaly detection and medical diagnostics face difficulties in producing many GT masks due to limited resources. To reduce this burden, we propose a cost-effective image segmentation framework with point annotations (CoSPA) that performs image segmentation with only point annotations. Point annotations refer to the partial and sparse labeled coordinates in an image. The key idea is to ensure consistency between the predictions for the same coordinates from the two different networks of CoSPA. This new consistency enables the CoSPA to improve segmentation performance and extend to semi-supervised learning. For the MVTec AD dataset, we verified the cost-effectiveness of CoSPA through an anomaly detection task. We demonstrated that the point annotating costs were reduced by 80% compared to creating GT masks. Subsequently, the CoSPA realized by 87% of the mean Intersection over Union (mIoU) achieved using the fully supervised method, DeepLabV3+. Moreover, the mIoU of CoSPA using only 30% of all point annotations defeated that of the unsupervised method, PaDiM. This study offers a new direction for economic anomaly localization. © 2024 IEEE.

Employee hypertension self-management support with microlearning and social learning

A majority of employees over the age of 40 have hypertension, impacting their health and performance. A two-week self-management support (SMS) intervention was tested, with daily feedback and microlearning cycles to improve health self-management competences. On average, participants (n = 8) reduced their blood pressure from 145/92 mmHg to 126/86 mmHg. User evaluation confirmed the importance of core SMS aspects: information transfer, daily monitoring, enhancing problem solving/decision making, self-treatment using a tailored action plan, coping skills, and skilful coach follow-up. Several lessons are drawn on microlearning, peer coaching, health results, intrinsic motivation, and social learning, which appear useful for other health improvement initiatives. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

The industry is rapidly transitioning from the 4.0 era to the 5.0 era, prompting renewed interest among scholars in scheduling problems. They allow operations to process and assemble various components simultaneously. This bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the diverse research perspectives on the potential challenges of integrated scheduling within the framework. We identified 357 Scopus articles and analysed co-occurrence keyword (CNK) by VOSViewer tools and Global Citation Score (GCS) by Scopus tools. The research data obtained from 1993 to 2023 mainly in the subject areas of Engineering, computer science, Maths, and others. CNK identified six cluster keywords, and nine most cited articles based on normalised GCS. These results contribute to our understanding of the development of scheduling algorithms, shifting from an emphasis on manufacturing transfers to contemporary demand-centric research directions. Furthermore, this research provides a valuable perspective for policymakers, plant personnel, and manufacturing managers to make informed decisions. © 2025 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

This systematic literature review (SLR) study aims to analyze the role of New Media as a Tool to Improve Creative Thinking, with relevant articles from 2018 to 2023 taken from reputable international journals. It uses three research questions (RQ) to explore New Media's relevance in stimulating creativity. The results indicate that interactive platforms such as social media and online collaboration tools positively influence creative thinking skills. Interaction through New Media allows individuals to share ideas, discuss, and be exposed to various points of view, all of which stimulate creative thinking. In addition, New Media also facilitates the creative process of solving problems and generating original ideas. The immersive experiences offered by this technology can enhance the exploration of ideas and increase the ability to think out-of-the-box. While New Media offers great potential to enhance creativity, there are also potential risks, such as false information, media addiction, and privacy concerns. Therefore, awareness of the wise use of New Media needs to be increased, especially in education and everyday life. Overall, this literature review provides in-depth insight into the role of New Media in enhancing creative thinking skills and driving innovation. With the right approach, New Media can be an effective tool in stimulating creative thinking and encouraging the creation of original ideas beneficial for future social and technological developments. © 2023 IEEE.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience. © 2023 IEEE.
