The industry is rapidly transitioning from the 4.0 era to the 5.0 era, prompting renewed interest among scholars in scheduling problems. They allow operations to process and assemble various components simultaneously. This bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the diverse research perspectives on the potential challenges of integrated scheduling within the framework. We identified 357 Scopus articles and analysed co-occurrence keyword (CNK) by VOSViewer tools and Global Citation Score (GCS) by Scopus tools. The research data obtained from 1993 to 2023 mainly in the subject areas of Engineering, computer science, Maths, and others. CNK identified six cluster keywords, and nine most cited articles based on normalised GCS. These results contribute to our understanding of the development of scheduling algorithms, shifting from an emphasis on manufacturing transfers to contemporary demand-centric research directions. Furthermore, this research provides a valuable perspective for policymakers, plant personnel, and manufacturing managers to make informed decisions. © 2025 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

This systematic literature review (SLR) study aims to analyze the role of New Media as a Tool to Improve Creative Thinking, with relevant articles from 2018 to 2023 taken from reputable international journals. It uses three research questions (RQ) to explore New Media's relevance in stimulating creativity. The results indicate that interactive platforms such as social media and online collaboration tools positively influence creative thinking skills. Interaction through New Media allows individuals to share ideas, discuss, and be exposed to various points of view, all of which stimulate creative thinking. In addition, New Media also facilitates the creative process of solving problems and generating original ideas. The immersive experiences offered by this technology can enhance the exploration of ideas and increase the ability to think out-of-the-box. While New Media offers great potential to enhance creativity, there are also potential risks, such as false information, media addiction, and privacy concerns. Therefore, awareness of the wise use of New Media needs to be increased, especially in education and everyday life. Overall, this literature review provides in-depth insight into the role of New Media in enhancing creative thinking skills and driving innovation. With the right approach, New Media can be an effective tool in stimulating creative thinking and encouraging the creation of original ideas beneficial for future social and technological developments. © 2023 IEEE.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience. © 2023 IEEE.

The use of covert communications has become more widespread recently as a solution to the information security issue. information security can be partially solved by the discovery and creation of covert routes. Covert channel use is still in its early phases, even though information security concerns are growing as a result of quick technology advancements. As a result, several problems and concerns need to be resolved, and the future plan is foggy. This paper seeks to give a thorough comparison of earlier and more recent attempts in this field. It offers a survey of the literature on the drawbacks and gaps in conventional detection techniques, emphasizing the most recent techniques for discovering and creating these covert channels while carefully considering machine learning and deep learning-based detection techniques. Additionally, it broadens the topic to cover the crucial function that these channels play in technology. Timing channels, storage channels, and hybrid channels are just a few of the ways covert channels may be utilized to transfer data. They can be used to get around security measures like intrusion detection systems and firewalls. Additionally, they may be used to steal confidential data from a system, including passwords, credit card numbers, and intellectual property. System security is seriously threatened by covert channels, and more study on covert channel production and detection is required to stay up with the changing threat environment. © 2023 IEEE.

Multimodal attention-driven visual question answering for Malayalam

Visual question answering is a challenging task that necessitates for sophisticated reasoning over the visual elements to provide an accurate answer to a question. Majority of the state-of-the-art VQA models are only applicable to English questions. However, applications such as visual assistance and tourism necessitate the incorporation of multilingual VQA systems. This paper presents an effective deep learning framework for Malayalam visual question answering (MVQA), which can answer a specific natural language question about an image in Malayalam. As there is no available dataset in English–Malayalam VQA, a MVQA dataset was created by translating English question–answer pairs from the visual genome dataset. The paper proposes an attention-driven MVQA model on the developed dataset. The proposed MVQA model uses a deep learning-based co-attention mechanism to jointly learn the attention for images and Malayalam questions. A second-order multimodal factorized high-order pooling is used for multi modal feature fusion. Different VQA models using combinations of classical CNNs and RNNs were experimented on the developed MVQA dataset, and the performance was compared against the proposed attention-driven model. Experimental results show that the proposed attention-driven MVQA model achieves state-of-the-art results as compared to other models for MVQA on the custom Malayalam VQA dataset. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Many individuals now trade online utilizing trading software in the digital world. Binomo is one of Indonesia's most popular trading platforms. This is because some influencers made several promises to Binomo customers. Since many customers were deceived, this case became quite popular. This study was executed to see how Indonesians felt about the Binomo application after the case went viral. The solution taken was in the form of sentiment analysis because there had been no previous research on sentiment analysis that discussed the Binomo case. The data was scanned using Netlytic tools, a cloud-based text and social network analyzer capable of identifying any talks on social media sites such as Twitter. The sentiment analysis of Binomo trading tweets by using the Multi-Perspective Question Answering lexicon utilized the KNIME tool. But unfortunately, the accuracy of sentiment analysis results is low. Furthermore, the Support Vector Machine technique is also being conducted. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method is applied to perform feature extraction whilst the chi-square approach is utilized to identify features that are thought to be useful for inclusion in the classification process and to exclude features that are irrelevant to the target class. The obtained accuracy is 86%. The study proposes that words from the algorithm's outputs can be utilized to improve the quality of sentiment analysis using the lexicon. As an outcome of the algorithm, positive and negative terms are added to the lexicon, increasing the accuracy of sentiment analysis using the new vocabulary from 58.984% to 71.146%. © 2023 IEEE.

We have been developing MEIMAT (MEiji Microprocessor Architecture Design Tools). The MEIMAT is essentially designed to be able to represent any instruction of various processors by the MEIMAT meta-instruction in two ways of semantic and functional expressions. In this paper, we have verified the RISC-V support to the MEIMAT, and have improved so that MEIMAT further supports RISC-V. First, we have verified whether the RISC-V instructions can be expressed by the MEIMAT semantic expression. It is also verified that the functional expression is automatically generated from the semantic instruction, and the corresponding correct circuit diagrams are generated in the MEIMAT instruction visualization tool. Then, we have newly developed a stage configuration mechanism to implement the RISC-V instructions. Because the RISC-V architecture is implemented by 4 or 5 processing stages in most actual processors. To develop further an easy-to-understand design tool, we have also introduced illustration windows for RISC-V specified hardware modules such as a register file, especially a status register in the instruction visualization tool. Finally, through these verifications and improvements, we have successfully confirmed that the 43 instructions in the RISCV (RV32I) instructions set of the RISC-V architecture can be converted into MEIMAT meta-instructions, and then they can be represented as circuit diagrams with the RISC-V stage configuration in the MEIMAT instruction visualization tool. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a large gathering dataset of images extracted from publicly filmed videos by 24 cameras installed on the premises of Masjid Al-Nabvi,Madinah,Saudi *** dataset consists of raw and processed images reflecting a highly challenging and unconstraint *** methodology for building the dataset consists of four core phases;that include acquisition of videos,extraction of frames,localization of face regions,and cropping and resizing of detected face *** raw images in the dataset consist of a total of 4613 frames obtained fromvideo *** processed images in the dataset consist of the face regions of 250 persons extracted from raw data images to ensure the authenticity of the presented *** dataset further consists of 8 images corresponding to each of the 250 subjects(persons)for a total of 2000 *** portrays a highly unconstrained and challenging environment with human faces of varying sizes and pixel quality(resolution).Since the face regions in video sequences are severely degraded due to various unavoidable factors,it can be used as a benchmark to test and evaluate face detection and recognition algorithms for research *** have also gathered and displayed records of the presence of subjects who appear in presented frames;in a temporal *** can also be used as a temporal benchmark for tracking,finding persons,activity monitoring,and crowd counting in large crowd scenarios.

Robust Device-Free Mmwave Sensing with Specular Reflection Interference Mitigation

Device-Free mmWave Sensing (DFWS) could sense target state by analyzing how target activities influence the surrounding mmWave signals. It has emerged as a promising sensing technology. However, when employing DFWS indoors, specular reflection interference arises due to the specular reflectors. This interference often induces ghost targets, impacting the accurate estimation of the number and position of targets, resulting in degradation in sensing performance. To tackle this issue, we delve into the generation mechanism of specular reflection interference and analyze its multi-domain characteristics. Through exploration, we discern its temporal sparsity, spatial symmetry or collinearity, and frequency correlation characteristics, and propose four metrics to measure them, accordingly. Specifically, we propose a temporal characteristic quantitative evaluation metric based on identity matching, spatial symmetry and collinearity quantitative evaluation metrics based on geometric analysis, and a frequency correlation quantitative evaluation metric based on Doppler velocity correction, respectively. Based on these metrics, we design a novel Specular Reflection Interference Mitigation (SRIM) method and develop a robust SRIM-DFWS prototype system based on a 60 GHz mmWave radar to validate our proposed method. Experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method could achieve accurate and effective mitigation of specular reflection interference in device-free target tracking. © 2002-2012 IEEE.
