Twenty years of e-learning in health science: A bibliometric

Education about health sciences has historically been limited in the curriculum of health professionals and largely inaccessible to the public. In practice, most of the health science education is still running conventionally. Supposedly with the advancement of technology and the use of the internet everywhere, learning such as e-learning can be important, especially in the health sector. Until this research was conducted, only 514 academic documents about e-learning in health sciences were found for 20 years from 2001 to 2020, obtained in searching on the Scopus database. This study presents a comprehensive overview of studies related to E-learning in the Health sciences sector. This study uses bibliometric analysis and indexed digital methods to map scientific publications throughout the world. This research employs the Scopus database to gather information, as well as the Scopus online analysis tool and Vosviewer to show the bibliometric network. The method consists with five stages: determining search keywords, initial search results, refinement of search results, initial compilation, and data analysis. Among the most published and indexed articles by Scopus, papers published by researchers in the United States have the highest number of publications (80), followed by United Kingdom (63) and Australia with 45 academic publications. The processed data shows the pattern and trend of increasing the number of international publications in E-learning in Health sciences field, which Scopus index.

Modern healthcare systems demand comprehensive information systems but face obstacles during adoption. Organizational and structural complexity, especially decentralized systems, challenges the integrated management and sharing of data across information systems. Interoperability is critical to address these issues effectively in heterogeneous and distributed environments. However, different medical terminology hinders interoperability within health information systems. To address this, a systematic literature review examined various medical terminology standards for national interoperability. From 790 articles, 12 were selected according to PRISMA guidelines with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Standard health terminology is critical to achieving interoperability, and many countries have adopted it, although some have required adaptation to accommodate local contexts. Data models, governance, and maintenance of standards are equally important in achieving national interoperability. In addition, standardized health terminology promotes consistency and uniformity in terminology, which is beneficial for decision-making by stakeholders in the health system.

Although semi-supervised learning has made significant advances in the field of medical image segmentation, fully annotating a volumetric sample slice by slice remains a costly and time-consuming task. Even worse, most of the existing approaches pay much attention to image-level information and ignore semantic features, resulting in the inability to perceive weak boundaries. To address these issues, we propose a novel Semantic-Guided Triplet Co-training (SGTC) framework, which achieves high-end medical image segmentation by only annotating three orthogonal slices of a few volumetric samples, significantly alleviating the burden of radiologists. Our method consist of two main components. Specifically, to enable semantic-aware, fine-granular segmentation and enhance the quality of pseudo-labels, a novel semantic-guided auxiliary learning mechanism is proposed based on the pretrained CLIP. In addition, focusing on a more challenging but clinically realistic scenario, a new triple-view disparity training strategy is proposed, which uses sparse annotations (i.e., only three labeled slices of a few volumes) to perform co-training between three sub-networks, significantly improving the robustness. Extensive experiments on three public medical datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms most state-of-the-art semi-supervised counterparts under sparse annotation settings. Blockchain, Metaverse & NFT are technologies that were booming during the Pandemic. As a derivative product of blockchain, the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is one of the technologies that has attracted the most interest from investors and the public because of its potential benefits and has always been closely associated with the Metaverse as a main purposes research of the NFTs. This paper is to explore the possibilities and provide an overview of the current use of NFT technology so that it can provide insight for further research & gap with the big picture that it is trying to present in this paper. However, after exploring further related to NFT in this research, it was found that the problem that most people are trying to solve through NFT is related to the topic of Decentralization & Web3 not as a Metaverse main backbone.

E-Government and Tourism are fields of research that are constantly evolving. Where tourism services are one of the major foreign exchange earners for most countries. Governments in various countries are trying their best in providing services by utilizing information technology. The purpose of this research is to find out and map the scientific publications that have been carried out on the topics of e-government and tourism indexed by Scopus scientific publications, published from 2000 to 2020. So that research trends in this field can be seen and provide insights for further research. This research uses the bibliometric analysis method. Results showed that the most cited research topic was the recommendation system topic with 639 citations, the country that contributed the most documents was China and the most affiliated contributors were Georgia College State universities and Sydney University of technology with each producing four articles. This study also contributes to knowledge by proposing classification characteristics of egovernment and tourism with the theme: Websites, Applications, Services, and Electronics. This characteristic abbreviated as WASE. © 2021 IEEE.

Network security is a crucial component of information technology, yet organizations continue to grapple with meeting established security benchmarks. Given the rise in cyber-attacks and the continuous emergence of new attack types, it’s practically infeasible to persistently update attack patterns or signatures within security parameters. Key tools such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Security information and Event Management (SIEM) are instrumental in monitoring network traffic and identifying potential threats. However, these tools face limitations, such as the high volume of alerts produced by IDS and the use of rule-based method, also the inability of SIEM tools to analyze logs comprehensively to identify inappropriate activities. This research has conducted anomaly detection using machine learning process to classify cyber-attacks network flow collected from IDS that installed incident network infrastructure. The analysis of IDS using machine learning, integrated with SIEM. The algorithm used in this research was Random Forest Classifier using CSE-CID-IDS2018 dataset pre-processed with Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Results of the experiments show that Random Forest Classifier Model, when combined with Principal Component Analysis (PCA), yields the most commendable results when applied to a 70/30 training/testing data ratio with accuracy of 0.99953.

A Study of Encapsulation Temperature Field of Dry-type Air-core Reactor with the Structure of Equivalent and Aluminum Wire-Insulation

During the operation of the Dry-type Air-core Reactor (DAR), the insulation material deteriorates due to local overheating of the encapsulation, and the reactor is burned in severe conditions. Therefore, studying the temperature rise of the reactor plays an important role in the reliability of its operation and the economy of design and production. According to the structural characteristics of the reactor, the three-dimensional thermal field model of the aluminum wire-insulation structure of the reactor is established, and the encapsulation temperature field distribution of the reactor under steady state is obtained. Compare the simulation result with the encapsulation temperature field distribution of the equivalent structure. The results show that the highest temperature of the aluminum wire-insulation structure encapsulation rises to 73.51◦C, which is located in the middle of the reactor. Each encapsulation hotspot is located about 20% from the upper edge of the encapsulation. In the temperature rise test, a Fiber Bragg Grating (FGB) temperature sensor is installed about 20% from the upper edge of the encapsulation. The test shows that the most significant value of temperature rise of the reactor is 73◦C, which is located in the middle of the reactor. The temperature rise test results verify the accuracy of the simulated calculation value of the temperature field of the aluminum wire-insulated reactor and provide a reference for the temperature rise calculation and temperature rise monitoring of the DAR. © 2022 River Publishers.

The rise of blockchain technology and smart contracts has brought widespread attention due to their capacity to transform multiple industrial sectors through decentralized, transparent, secure transactions. However, despite their promise to revolutionize various fields worldwide, lingering concerns regarding security risks impede their adoption rate. Addressing these concerns is crucial now more than ever; therefore, we conducted a comprehensive literature review within our study's scope that focused on published papers between 2014-2023 centered around security risks concerning blockchain and smart contracts. Our systematic approach using the PRISMA checklist analyzed nine categorized research model-based primary studies while recognizing vulnerabilities in smart contract development and providing best practices to mitigate such issues. These findings benefit both researchers and practitioners as they showcase how acknowledging these vulnerabilities can further develop into exploring more significant aspects of blockchain technology's security issues and smart contract development processes. Our study contributes significantly by expanding knowledge in this field while providing novel insights valuable for individuals involved in designing or implementing blockchain technologies.

Most English foreign language (EFL) studies focus solely on human beings. This research explores how edge computing can facilitate learning for all things. The XoT (Xducation of Things) framework was proposed to educate both human and all things. All things encompass two terms: AI-Agent and smartthings (covering physical and digital smart objects). At the core of this framework is Smart Question Answer Forwarding Mechanism (SQA-Forwarding), specifically designed to assist all things in building knowledge. To demonstrate this, the smartXoT environment was developed based on XoT framework, and its impacts on EFL learners was assessed. A quasi-experimental study involving 26 EFL learners, divided into an experimental group (EG) and a control group (CG), examined the differences in learning achievement of smartthings and EFL learners when using the smartXoT environment with/without SQA-Forwarding. Findings, on one hand, indicated that smartthings in the EG developed knowledge bases greater than those in the CG. On the other hand, the interaction between EFL learners and smartthings with SQA-Forwarding significantly improved learners' writing skills, with revisions playing a crucial role in enhancing writing quality. Thus, the XoT framework offers a novel and promising approach to educating both humans and all things. © 2013 IEEE.
