Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF) is a commonly used framework and the best solution for addressing and defining the transformation that needs to be built to support business operations. To be able to make the transition quickly, many higher education institutions (HEIs) are starting to adopt EAF. This research aims to help the evolution and transpiration of enterprise architecture research in higher education. This research uses a systematic literature review (SLR) research method which includes several steps, namely identifying research questions, identifying research sources, using keywords to complete the data discovery process, disseminating data, and analyzing the results to answer research questions. The data used comes from digital libraries, especially Emerald Insight, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, and science Direct. Data taken from 2019 to 2023 in RIS format will then be analyzed and visualized using VosViewer. The results of this research are to find the growth of research publications over five years, find research trends on enterprise architecture frameworks, identify relationships between scientific concepts, and determine the knowledge network of enterprise architecture frameworks based on keywords. © 2023 IEEE.

Preacher assignments to mosques in Kampar Regency have often been inefficient due to geographical distance and compatibility issues, limiting effective religious outreach. This study aims to optimize preacher assignments by applying the Divisive Hierarchical Clustering (DHC) algorithm. Analysis was conducted on a dataset of 250 records, clustering preachers and mosques based on geographical proximity and relevant attributes. Initial clustering modelling produced the highest silhouette score of 0.336. Dimensionality reduction using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) significantly improved the silhouette score to 0.8197, reflecting enhanced clustering quality. The elbow method validated eight clusters as optimal, with a value of 292.33. Research findings demonstrate that preachers can be effectively placed in geographically closer mosques aligned with their profiles, reducing inefficiencies. Business intelligence techniques visualized the clustering results, providing decision-makers with insights into geographical distribution and facilitating improved assignment strategies. These findings hold substantial implications for optimizing religious outreach in Kampar by minimizing logistical challenges and increasing engagement effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.

Inefficiencies in assigning preachers for Islamic preaching activities often arise due to distant placements, leading to delays and logistical challenges. In Kampar Regency, geographical diversity intensifies this issue, resulting in suboptimal preacher placements. This study aims to optimize preacher assignments by considering distance and mosque profiles. The dataset, which includes 102 mosques and 148 preachers was obtained from the Indonesian Ulema Council in Kampar. The Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) algorithm was selected for its capacity to cluster data across multiple characteristics. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was employed to reduce data dimensionality, thereby enhancing clustering outcomes. The optimization of the AHC-PCA algorithm generated an optimal clustering solution with a silhouette score of 0.625524 at three clusters. Furthermore, the elbow method also indicated that three clusters are optimal with a value of 390.234457, while the lowest Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) score of 0.468573 was achieved with three clusters. Business Intelligence techniques visualized these clusters, providing a spatial distribution of preachers and mosques for detailed analysis. This study improves preacher assignments by reducing travel time and aligning preacher placements with mosque proximity and needs, thus enhancing the efficiency of Islamic preaching in Kampar Regency. © 2024 IEEE.

The university admission process can be overwhelming for applicants and admission officers, with many questions being asked and answered every year. The manual classification of these questions can be time-consuming and may lead to errors, making exploring automated solutions to this problem essential. In recent years, advances in natural language processing (NLP), including question classification. The research proposes an architecture for a question classification system using the Indonesian Language in closed-domain question answering. The purpose of this research is to find out the classification of questions. We created a system with the Named-Entity Recognition method to recognize the next word that will be used as a candidate type of question and candidate answer. The type of question used is a factoid question. Research makes patterns and rules for extracting important words as features to determine the taxonomy of question classification. Datasets are collected from one private university in Indonesia. Data sources from Binus Online Learning websites and data on questions frequently asked by users, especially prospective students. The results of the question classification are presented using descriptive statistics. The results show that the question classification with users' most frequent question type is 'What' by 63.3%, and the answer category is 'tuition fees' by 22.4%. It can be concluded that the most frequent question type asked by users is 'What', and the most frequent topic of interest is 'tuition fees'. Organizations can use this information to improve customer service by providing more relevant information and resources about tuition fees. © 2023 IEEE.

Given a black box oracle that evaluates a univariate polynomial p(x) of a degree d, we seek its zeros, aka the roots of the equation. At FOCS 2016, Louis and Vempala approximated within an absolutely largest zero of such a real-rooted polynomial at the cost of the evaluation of Newton’s ratio (formula presented) points x and then extended this algorithm to approximation of an absolutely largest eigenvalue of a symmetric matrix at a record Boolean cost. By applying distinct approach and techniques we obtain much more general results at the same computational cost. Our use of Cauchy integrals and randomization is non-trivial and pioneering in this field. Somewhat surprisingly, the Boolean complexity of the accelerated versions of our algorithms in [25, 26] reached below the known lower bounds on the Boolean complexity of polynomial root-finding. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Classification of Indonesian crops is a critical task in developing farming and getting more understanding of agriculture. However, there is no clear task in classifying types of crops in Indonesia. Transfer learning has been used successfully in a variety of image classification applications. Thus, in this paper, we collected images of Indonesian crops from the internet randomly and proposed a classification by using transfer learning of deep learning with four pre-trained models: EffficientNetB0, ResNet18, VGG19, and AlexNet. In the experiment, augmentation techniques such as random horizontal flip, random vertical flip, and random affine were utilized to prevent the network from overfitting. The result found that EfficientNet-B0 outperformed other models with an accuracy of 82.55. Then, the model struggled to distinguish between crops in the same family. According to the results, although transfer learning can work well to classify images of Indonesian agricultural crops, some improvements are still required to address existing issues. © 2023 The Authors. Examining topic-level variability in modeling Twitter data can potentially yield more comprehensive insights into public perception during critical periods, thereby enhancing natural disaster mitigation and surveillance efforts. In this study, we utilized generalized linear mixed models (GLMMs) to illustrate the variability in tweet counts related to specific topics in Indonesia during the flood events that occurred in February 2021. The glmmTMB library in R was employed for this purpose. The data were assumed to follow two distinct exponential distributions: Poisson and Negative Binomial. To incorporate random effects, random intercepts and random slopes were introduced, allowing them to vary randomly across topics in the initial two models. Additionally, the final model addressed issues related to dispersion and zero-inflation. By evaluating the Akaike Information Criteria scores, we determined that a model based on the Negative Binomial distribution with random zero-inflation intercepts best fit the data. The chosen model formulation and the estimated parameters have the potential to forecast topic-specific trends in Indonesian flood-related Twitter data. © 2023 The Authors. Electrodermal activity (EDA) is a general term for all electrical phenomena occurring on the skin, both passive and active. EDA measurements are used by researchers to measure levels of stress, emotion, mental strain, and so on. Measuring human stress levels, emotions, and mental strain are generally associated with the skin conductance response. The function GSR sensor is not only used to read people's psychology but also can be used as a pain sensor used to read the degree of pain in the skin. This pilot study uses sample data from ***. The *** data is galvanic skin response sensor data. The output of this sensor is the conductivity value that occurs in the skin. The data obtained from *** will be extracted using the mean, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, RMS, skewness, and peak-to-peak characteristics. The extracted functions are selected using the forward selection method. The results of the feature selection are three features with an accuracy percentage greater than 50%, namely the mean feature, the RMS feature, and the skewness feature. The machine learning models used are bagged tree, SVM, and K-NN models. Of the three models used, the bagged tree model has the highest accuracy rate, at 98.05%, with an F1 score is 0.9807. The KNN model with k=10 has the lowest level of accuracy compared to other models, at 96.75%. © 2023 IEEE.

Several studies suggest that sleep quality is associated with physical activities. Moreover, deep sleep time can be used to determine the sleep quality of an individual. In this work, we aim to find the association between physical activities and deep sleep time by modeling the time series data such as heart rate and a number of steps captured from a commercial wearable device. Our previous study demonstrates that deep learning-based time series modeling is well suited for our problem since the temporal patterns in the two physical parameters need to be captured to obtain more accurate results. We first preprocess our series data to have a time-step size of 10 minutes. To improve our previous effort in this modeling, we compare four different variants of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)-based models, ranging from single input to dual input models. Our result shows that the simple stacked LSTM model performs better for our data because the remaining models suffer from overfitting due to a larger number of the trained parameters. © 2023 The Authors. In this paper, the authors investigate the current state of the lighting design and control sector in Thailand's creative industry. The government aims to promote the creative industry as a key source of income, but there needs more skilled professionals in the industry. The authors have found that successful cases have used the Internet for remote controlling in the creative industry in other countries. Therefore, the paper will explore the potential of using technology to improve professional efficiency and assess the feasibility of implementing remote lighting control systems via the Internet with Thai lighting designers and lighting console operators. Data will be collected through qualitative in-depth interviews and quantitative surveys. The results have shown a promising acceptance rate of wireless devices for lighting control due to their mobility, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and positive attitudes toward adopting Internet technology. The authors have also proposed a concept design for an internet-based control system tailored to Thai users, focusing on simplicity, ease of connection, and user-friendliness to accommodate those with limited network configuration knowledge. The proposed system aims to reduce professionals, save time, and increase convenience, leveraging Thailand's extensive wireless internet coverage. These systems could significantly benefit Thailand's creative industry by addressing the shortage of skilled professionals and improving efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.
