Information engineering strategies play a significant and transformative role in shaping the landscape of digital agriculture. It drives innovation and efficiency in modern farming practices, with a specific focus on enhancing the value of agricultural commodities, such as sugarcane. The application of mobile technology plays a crucial part in achieving increased sugarcane productivity. Mobile applications, equipped with advanced developer features, offer rapid and user-friendly access to vital information. Traditional methods of estimating sugarcane production relied on manual data recording on paper, followed by data transfer to computer systems, typically managed by sugar factory junior plant officers. This conventional approach presents several inherent weaknesses, including time and effort intensiveness during data recording and entry. Additionally, the potential for errors in calculation and data input is a concern. The storage capacity for paper-based documents is finite, and farmers are often unable to autonomously assess their production potential. The objective of this research is to confront these obstacles by creating a sugarcane production application for Android. This application functions as an information engineering approach focused on forecasting sugarcane yields for plantation owners and their assistants. The development procedure adhered to the systematic waterfall method, following the principles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. Data collection was carried out through observations, while interviews with junior plant officers provided valuable insights into sugarcane estimation techniques. Analysis involved the synthesis of observational and interview data to inform the design of the application’s interface and algorithmic system. Navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape requires a sophisticated platform that is not only comprehensive but also user-friendly and enables seamless analysis and document comparison in the legal realm. To address this challenging requirement, this research is dedicated to the user experience (UX) design of state-of the-art cloud-native mobile applications specifically designed for legal and regulatory harmonization. The methodology used is based on design thinking principles and takes advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, reliability, and security. The result is a solution that is not only powerful but also cost-effective. The core of this application follows a user-centered design philosophy and involves potential users closely in the design process. A comprehensive evaluation is performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology to measure the effectiveness and usability of the application. The results of this comprehensive approach are convincing. The application has an impressive 95.5% usage rate, indicating strong user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction ratings are particularly high and transformative impact of this application in a complex environment of legal harmonization. Through its innovative design, seamless functionality, and user-centric approach, this application has proven to be not only a technical solution, but also a catalyst for positive change in the legal and regulatory harmonization process.

Sign Language Recognition (SLR) is a complex classification problem to be solved. Every language has their own syntax and grammar. New model combination and dataset is required to developed new SLR system for different syntax and grammar. In this study, we implemented a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model which is Inflated 3D model combined with transfer learning method from ImageNet and Kinectic dataset to overcome small dataset problems. There is no public dataset available for SIBI Dataset. Therefore, we collected the dataset by our-self using a mobile phone camera with the following specification. Samsung Galaxy S6 Camera, 16-megapixel Sony Exmore RS IMX240 sensor. The camera is in static position. We used 200 videos as our dataset with 10 words (classes) and 2 signers. We split the dataset into 3 parts (training, validation, testing). After several training and testing with 5 different froze layer combination. The highest validation accuracy was 100% and the highest testing accuracy is 97.50%. The best result was obtained by using a model with the most froze inception module.

Batik is an Indonesian world cultural heritage. Batik consists of many kinds of patterns depending on where the batik comes from, Batik-making techniques continue to develop along with technology development. Among the batik making techniques that are widely used are hand-written, stamping, and printing. Batik motifs have been widely used as research material, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. The diverse appearance of batik motifs has attracted many researchers to carry out research on making synthetic batik patterns, one of which uses a Generative Adversarial Network. This paper presents a synthetic batik pattern model based on the Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Network with Gradient Penalty. This model has been proven to create new synthetic batik patterns quite well and almost identical with images provided in the dataset, with the notes if the dataset provided is large.

Opinion has always affected businesses and individuals especially from the Public. People react through social media and spread it incompletely. The situation was then accepted as public opinion. There are three categories of opinion i.e., positive, negative, and neutral. To investigate public opinion on a particular issue of interest, sentiment analysis might be employed. By offering a solution to the text classification challenge, this experiment focuses on the perception of airline tweets among the American public. We offer a method to classify tweets as positive, negative, or neutral using three machine learning classifiers: Random Forest Classifier, Naive Bayes Classifier, and K-Nearest Neighbors Classifier. We examined the performance of three machine learning classifiers in terms of accuracy, average precision, average recall, and average f-1 score. The results demonstrate that the Random Forest Classifier, which produces 82% accuracy, 80% average precision, 82% average recall, and 80% average f1-score, performs the best among the machine learning classifiers.

Since internet service is mostly available in many countries, tunneling solution over an internet link often used in the company for network communication between its multi-regional branches. The current state of the art solution consisting of an EoIP tunnel combined with IPsec installed on the Head Quarter of the company. Researchers see this solution as prone to total network disruption when the HQ loses its internet service. With the rising trend of cloud computing development, researchers then propose a multi-region network infrastructure design consist of MikroTik devices and Cloud platforms using EoIP IPsec protocol. Cloud platform used as an EoIP IPsec gateway due to its high availability. From the implementation and testing, the EoIP Cloud gateway proved to have high network availability. Branch network communication proved to be running well with no impact on the HQ loss of internet services. IPsec also proved to be secure enough to secure user data transmitted over the internet. From the QoS findings, there is a 24ms drop in delay performance and 0,66 ms drop in jitter performance. The EoIP IPsec on cloud platform also proved to have a 0,97% improvement in throughput performance and has a 0% packet loss rate.

Scrum is widely used to manage application development, including third-party vendors. There are some problems when third-party vendor using scrum such as communication challenges, lack of control, and lack of trust. Therefore, we proposed new model of distributed scrum using Scrum of Scrum and Holonic view to manage an application development project in third party vendors. In this study we created 3 model, Scrum Team Model, Meeting Coordination Model, and Product Backlog Model. In this study it has been shown that the Distributed scrum method is better than waterfall method as a result of the project’s success based on scope, time, and cost aspects. Based on the comparison result, it is found that the Cost Performance Index (CPI) and the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) value of the waterfall approach project is smaller than the Distributed scrum approach project as well as the change request issued by the Distributed scrum project resulting is less than the waterfall project.
