Digital transformation is about transforming processes, business models, domains, and culture. Studies show that the failure rate of digital transformation is quite high up to 90%. Studies show that the transformational leadership model has a significant impact on digital transformation adoption. This paper identifies the positive and negative attributes of transformational leadership including the components that support and are affected for successful adoption of digital transformation. Furthermore, the paper combines several findings related to the attributes and components in the form of a conceptual framework. With the rapid advancement of technology, the de-sign of virtual humans has led to a very realistic user experience, such as in movies, video games, and simulations. As a result, virtual humans are becoming increasingly similar to real humans. However, following the Uncanny Valley (UV) theory, users tend to feel discomfort when watching entities with anthropomorphic traits that differ from real humans. This phenomenon is related to social identity theory, where the observer looks for something familiar. In computer Graphics (CG), techniques used to create virtual humans with dark skin tones often rely on approaches initially developed for rendering characters with white skin tones. Furthermore, most CG characters portrayed in various media, including movies and games, predominantly exhibit white skin tones. Consequently, it is pertinent to explore people's perceptions regarding different groups of virtual humans. Thus, this paper aims to examine and evaluate the human perception of CG characters from different media, comparing two types of skin colors. The findings indicate that individuals felt more comfortable and perceived less realism when watching characters with dark colored skin than those with white colored skin. Our central hypothesis is that dark colored characters, rendered with classical developed algorithms, are considered more cartoon than realistic and placed on the left of the Valley in the UV chart.

This research focuses on the use of machine learning methods, especially Random Forest, in designing tuberculosis drugs more effectively and efficiently. The research process begins with the creation of a QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship) model using a dataset from ChEMBL that includes compounds with activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This model aims to predict the pIC50 value, which is an indicator of a compound's biological activity as a tuberculosis drug. The results of the Random Forest model showed high accuracy, which is 92%. This accuracy indicates that the model has a good ability in predicting the effectiveness of compounds against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. With this result, the developed model can be used as an auxiliary tool in the discovery of tuberculosis drugs and can be further developed to increase the effectiveness in drug research.

Attendance systems have become more modern, and one of the biometric systems without physical contact is face recognition. However, many face-based attendance systems still carry out attendance individually and cannot detect multiple faces simultaneously. In addition, capturing facial data in real-time is still a challenge because the relatively large distance between the camera and the individual reduces the ability to recognize faces. The general solution is to use super-resolution to generate better-quality faces while maintaining the main facial recognition features. One technique still being researched is super-resolution generative adversarial networks (SRGAN). SRGAN can enlarge the resolution of captured images and maintain image quality sufficient for face recognition. The attendance system can be easily integrated into edge devices such as the Jetson Nano. This paper proposes automatic and effective attendance systems with the super-resolution technique to detect and recognize faces in low-resolution input. The experimental results show that using face data capture with a resolution of 40 × 40 pixels and a four-fold magnification results in a resolution of 160 × 160 pixels. Combining Face SRGAN with FaceNet architecture as the basis of face recognition can achieve an accuracy rate of 78.19% and an F1-Score of 81.13% with an average processing time of 1.61 seconds per frame on a PC and 14.55 seconds per frame on a Jetson Nano at an average of face recognition per frame of as many as up to 8 faces simultaneously.

The rapid development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has enabled the widespread deployment of health monitoring systems. Traditionally, the health monitoring system has been limited by centralized processing and storage in the cloud, leading to latency issues and potential data loss. This paper introduces a smart sleep monitoring system based on edge computing, utilizing microservices architecture and caching techniques. The proposed system employs edge computing to enable data processing closer to the source, reducing latency and improving real-time monitoring capabilities. Caching is employed to reduce database load and optimize random access memory (RAM) usage. This research addresses latency and response time challenges on IoT health monitoring platforms in environments with poor network quality while optimizing database load and resource usage on Jetson Nano as the edge computing device. Using Electrocardiogram (ECG) data as input, the proposed system yields impressive performance metrics. The research results indicate that the proposed system can increase throughput by 26.92 KB/s, reduce response time by 18.8 ms, and decrease latency by 20.86 ms compared to the previous work. Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) integration reduces CPU usage by approximately 40% and RAM usage by about 81.24%.

This paper evaluates the QoE of video and audio transmission over a full-duplex wireless LAN with interference traffic through a computer simulation and a subjective experiment. We employ a simulation environment with a pair of audiovisual transmission and reception terminals and a pair of interference traffic transmission and reception ones. We investigate the effect of the transmission rate of interference traffic and communication distance in a wireless channel on the output quality of the video and audio stream at the reception terminal. We perform a subjective experiment with the output timing of video and audio obtained by the simulation.
