In this paper, we present an approach that can handle Z-numbers in the context of multi-criteria decision-making problems. The concept of Z-number as an ordered pair Z=(A, B) of fuzzy numbers A and B is used, where A is a linguistic value of a variable of interest and B is a linguistic value of the probability measure of A. As human beings, we communicate with each other by means of natural language using sentences like "the journey from home to university most likely takes about half an hour." The Z-numbers are converted to fuzzy numbers. Then the Z-TODIM and Z-TOPSIS are presented as a direct extension of the fuzzy TODIM and fuzzy TOPSIS, respectively. The proposed methods are applied to two case studies and compared with the standard approach using crisp values. The results obtained show the feasibility of the approach.

Purpose: The objectives of this study were to create a device with technological development of the self-inflating bag (SIB) equipment to measure the variables tidal volume, peak inspiratory pressure, and inspiratory flow and to evaluate the knowledge of undergraduate students in handling the SIB. To reduce the risks of mortality, length of hospital stay, and infections, SIB is a resource used to ventilate the patient through the inflation of the device, but it is not capable of measuring the ventilatory parameters. Excess ventilation and incorrect handling of the bag can cause lung injury in newborns. Therefore, measuring these parameters can prevent lung injury resulting from inadequate ventilation. Method: This is a cross-sectional and experimental study, with the development of a device SIB that allows the evaluation of variables of neonatal respiratory mechanics that were tested with an artificial lung. It was approved by the Research Ethics Committee and the research was developed in three stages: the first represents the search for scientific articles for the consensus of neonatal ventilatory variables for the construction of the SIB parameters;the second stage depicts the technological development of a device capable of monitoring such variables through the SIB. In the third stage, the content validation of the device with the handling of the SIB was carried out by students of medicine and physiotherapy courses of Brazil. Results: In this work, a device that analyzes the values of the main ventilatory parameters in neonatology was developed and to generate a safety range for the use of the device, curves with a tolerance of 10% up and down were created. All electronic components were coupled to the equipment, with a display that transmits the parameter values. AgriField3D: A Curated 3D Point Cloud and Procedural Model Dataset of Field-Grown Maize from a Diversity Panel

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in three-dimensional (3D) agricultural research, particularly for maize, has been limited by the scarcity of large-scale, diverse datasets. While 2D image datasets are abundant, they fail to capture essential structural details such as leaf architecture, plant volume, and spatial arrangements that 3D data provide. To address this limitation, we present AgriField3D (website), a curated dataset of 3D point clouds of field-grown maize plants from a diverse genetic panel, designed to be AI-ready for advancing agricultural research. Our dataset comprises over 1,000 high-quality point clouds collected using a Terrestrial Laser Scanner, complemented by procedural models that provide structured, parametric representations of maize plants. These procedural models, generated using Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines (NURBS) and optimized via a two-step process combining Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and differentiable programming, enable precise, scalable reconstructions of leaf surfaces and plant architectures. To enhance usability, we performed graph-based segmentation to isolate individual leaves and stalks, ensuring consistent labeling across all samples. We also conducted rigorous manual quality control on all datasets, correcting errors in segmentation, ensuring accurate leaf ordering, and validating metadata annotations. The dataset further includes metadata detailing plant morphology and quality, alongside multi-resolution subsampled versions (100k, 50k, 10k points) optimized for various computational needs. By integrating point cloud data of field grown plants with high-fidelity procedural models and ensuring meticulous manual validation, AgriField3D provides a comprehensive foundation for AI-driven phenotyping, plant structural analysis, and 3D applications in agricultural research. © 2025, CC BY-NC-SA.

Interest in the two-dimensional (2D) semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) continues to intensify, driven by their suitable band gaps to supplant silicon as next-generation semiconductor materials. Among various TMDs, tungsten diselenide (WSe2) is renowned for its superior electrical properties in carrier density and mobility under ambient conditions. Despite its notable attributes, the behavior of monolayer WSe2 in the electron-doped regime under cryogenic conditions remains largely uncharted, particularly concerning its magnetotransport properties. In this study, we reveal the transport mechanisms of monolayer WSe2 from high temperatures down to the cryogenic regime. As evident by Efros–Shklovskii variable-range hopping (E-S VRH) in the cryogenic regime, strong Coulomb interactions arise between electrons. Above 8 K, an uncommon nonsaturated quadratic large magnetoresistance (MR) can be explained by the wave-function shrinkage model, which is consistent with the E-S VRH transport mechanism. Notably, the nonsaturated quadratic large MR shows a magnitude up to 1740% at 13 T. These findings underscore the potential applications for monolayer WSe2 in cryogenic field-effect devices, magnetic sensors, and memory devices and mark a significant advance in magnetotransport research.

The development of technology and the internet is one of the critical factors that must be considered by companies especially those engaged in e-commerce. The web-based application is one of the tools used by e-commerce in making it easier for users to conduct transactions and data processing. The application that developed must be calculated carefully so the effectiveness and efficiency can be appropriately maintained. In this research, the calculation of the size of the software, effort, time, staff, and the total cost needed to work on an application was calculated using the Function Point Analysis (FPA) and Constructive Cost Model II (CoCoMo II) methods. The application that has been analyzed and estimated is Merchant Application Portal (MAP) which is an application designed by one of the companies in Indonesia. The estimation results obtained, scilicet the size of software amounted to 10,02972 KLOC, effort amounted to 48.521 Person Month, time development of 13 months, staff needed as many as four staff, and the estimated cost amounted to IDR 13,828,852.79 or $ 971.54. In addition, this calculation can be used by other companies to find out the resources needed in making a software to be more effective and efficient. © 2021 ACM.

Stroke is becoming one of the most common diseases in modern society. Stroke caught in the early phase has a higher potential for recovery as it can be treated before the worsening of the patient's condition. Detection through brain CT images with deep learning has a favorable impact. Residual Attention Network (RAN) architecture is proposed to perform stroke detection. RAN builds upon the regular ResNet architecture by incorporating an attention layer within each residual block to extract meaningful information. RAN combines the advantages of residual connections and attention mechanisms. RAN is able to prevent vanishing gradient problem while focusing on the most important features. RAN yields an accuracy of 96.12% surpassing the regular ResNet with an accuracy of 94.40%. RAN shows great potential, especially in fields that require high accuracy and efficient feature extraction. This paper explores the effectiveness of Residual Attention Networks and their potential applications in areas requiring robust and accurate feature extraction. © The Institution of Engineering & Technology 2024.

Quantum computing is at the forefront of technological advancement and has the potential to revolutionize various fields, including quantum chemistry. Choosing an appropriate quantum programming language becomes critical as quantum education and research increase. In this paper, we comprehensively compare two leading quantum programming languages, Qiskit and PennyLane, focusing on their suitability for teaching and research. We delve into their basic and advanced usage, examine their learning curves, and evaluate their capabilities in quantum computing experiments. We also demonstrate using a quantum programming language to build a half adder and a machine learning model. Our study reveals that each language has distinct advantages. While PennyLane excels in research applications due to its flexibility to adjust parameters in detail and access multiple sources of real quantum devices, Qiskit stands out in education because of its web-based graphical user interface and smaller code size. The Google Sheets is a cloud technology part of Google Drive. Google Drive is a cloud operating system owned by Google's search engine. National Elementary School (SDN) to make a report book or Basic Education Databook (Dapodik) still use Microsoft Excel, which has the effect of delaying the delivery of report results to parents. This happens because to fill in the DAPODIK score must be filled by teachers who teach subjects in class. This study aims to provide knowledge to teachers in collaborating to fill DAPODIK and measure how reliable the delivery of material received by each teacher. Using the method of reliability Kuder Richardson KR-20 and KR-21 produces a value before the training on reliability values KR-20 = 0.6328, and KR-21 = 0.6000, after the training, the reliability values KR-20 = 0.5788 and KR-21 = 0.6231. From these results, it is known that the value after training for KR-21 has increased and according to the conventional correlation coefficient. In future research can be re-developed by making application system recommendations in determining teachers in schools to become instructors in accordance with the capabilities possessed based on the reliability testing results of the KR-20 and KR-21. © 2019 IEEE.

In this study,we utilize a potentially versatile Bayesian parameter approach to compute the value of the pion charge radius and quantify its uncertainty from several experimental e^(+)e^(-) datasets for the pion vector form *** employ dispersion relations to model the pion vector form factor to extract the *** model selection is used to determine the order of polynomial appearing in the form factor formulation that can be supported by the data,adapting the computation of Bayes evidence and Bayesian effective complexity based on Occam's *** findings indicate that five out of six used datasets favor the nine-parameter model for radius extraction,and accordingly,we average the radii from the *** some inconsistencies with the most updated radius values,our approach may serve as a more intuitive method of addressing parameter estimations in dispersion theory.

Objective: Magnetic fields switching at kilohertz frequencies induce electric fields in the body, which can cause peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS). Although magnetostimulation has been extensively studied below 10 kHz, the behavior of PNS at higher frequencies remains poorly understood. This study aims to investigate PNS thresholds at frequencies up to 88.1 kHz and to explore deviations from the widely accepted hyperbolic strength-duration curve (SDC). Methods and procedures: PNS thresholds were measured in the head of 8 human volunteers using a solenoidal coil at 16 distinct frequencies, ranging from 200 Hz to 88.1 kHz. A hyperbolic SDC was used as a reference to compare the frequency-dependent behavior of PNS thresholds. Results: Contrary to the predictions of the hyperbolic SDC, PNS thresholds did not decrease monotonically with frequency. Instead, thresholds reached a minimum near 25 kHz, after which they increased by an average of 39% from 25 kHz to 88.1 kHz across subjects. This pattern indicates a significant deviation from previously observed behavior at lower frequencies. Conclusion: Our results suggest that PNS thresholds exhibit a non-monotonic frequency dependence at higher frequencies, diverging from the traditional hyperbolic SDC. These findings offer critical data for refining neurodynamic models and provide insights for setting PNS safety limits in applications like MRI gradient coils and magnetic particle imaging (MPI). Further investigation is needed to understand the biological mechanisms driving these deviations beyond 25 kHz. Clinical impact: These findings call for further basic research into biological mechanisms underlying high frequency PNS threshold trends, and supports refinement of safety guidelines for MRI and MPI systems for clinical implementation. © 2013 IEEE.
