Task oriented chatbots are a sub-topic related to chatbots, where chatbots will perform certain tasks with specific goals. One part of creating a task-oriented chatbot is doing intent classification. Intent classification is a task of text classification. As in general text classification, the required dataset requires a label to carry out the classification process. To speed up and help the utterance analysis process, there is already a method, namely clustering, and Density-based clustering is a part of clustering that can determine cluster patterns based on arbitrary data, with DBScan as one of its algorithms. This research used 10000 client utterance data of awhatsapp based e-commerce conversation. SentenceBert also used as a state of art sentence embedding. This research yield silhouette score of 0.327 as the best result from eps of 0.1 and MinPts of 95. However, based on the cluster result, sentences labelled as noise can be further clustered. Text Preprocessing, text augmentation and sentence embedding techniques can be explored to increase the cluster performance. © 2023 IEEE.

A vast number of technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have proliferated into various application domains. As part of its objectives to develop agents which can behave and think like humans, some branches of AI have focused on developing various algorithms that can learn from input data without explicitly being programmed. In the food industry, notably in restaurants, smartphone technology is typically used to collect data from customers efficiently such as orders or feedback toward the services provided. The use of smartphones by some restaurants is motivated by their convenience and efficiency. Furthermore, various promotions, discounts, and membership benefits offered by cellular service providers have attracted the use of smartphones as devices for improving restaurant services to their customers. This study aimed to conduct a sentiment analysis related to multi-brand restaurants in Indonesia based on customer feedback. The data retrieved from the Google Play Store consists of 756 reviews from Boga, Champs, Hangry, Ismaya, Kulo, and Union groups. In this study, TF-IDF was used as a vectorizer to represent customer feedback as numeric vectors. The polarity sentiment of customer feedback was recognized using classifier models based on machine learning such as Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes (NB), Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the classifier. The empirical results showed that SVM has the best accuracy of 93.10 % average accuracy followed by Logistic Regression with 92.41 %, Random Forest with 84.14 % average accuracy, and Naive Bayes with 76.55 % average accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

3D point clouds consisting of a lot of informatively geometric data have been playing critical roles in many applications such as 3D segmentation, polyline annotation for lane tracking, and especially in manufacturing industry. In particular, this paper proposes to apply Reinforcement Learning (RL) to resolve an automated assembly task based on 3D point cloud data. To address this task, the proposed structure is separated into 2 stages including registration stage and assembly path planning stage. Firstly, in the registration stage, one of the objects is matched to an assembled model to determine the transformation between two 3D point clouds by using RANdom Sample Consensus (RANSAC) and Iterative Closet Point (ICP). Secondly, we employ Q-learning method to train a model to make optimal decisions in assemble path planning task. The entire optimized assembly path planning task has been successfully accomplished for typical objects. Finally, the performance of the approach developed in this paper has been validated by experiments. © 2018 IEEE.

As far as we know, there is not a Node Localization Algorithm (NLA) that presents the same accuracy for all possible scenarios. We believe that a NLA should be able to interpret the dynamic information of the environment. In this sense, simple NLAs are rather focused and might perform well for specific scenarios and applications. Therefore, information fusion and context awareness seems to be an appropriate approach to address this issue. We propose the Smart Environmental Architecture for Node Localization (SEA-NL), which is composed by two main elements: (i) the Smart Beacon Nodes (SBNs) and (ii) the Logical Position of Nodes (LPN). In (i) the obstruction level indicator is estimated and can improve the estimation of distances among nodes. In (ii) environment information and a one to one relation between a node and an object are used and can also improve location estimation. Via simulation, our architecture was tested indoors and outdoors considering three localization algorithms: the Weighed Centroid Localization (WCL), the Centroid Localization, and the Triangular Centroid Localization. Finally, we present an accuracy comparison among NLAs used in isolated way, and by using the SBNs, the LPN, and the SEA-NL, where our architecture improves WCL up to ~30.88%. © 2012 IEEE.

Sleep is the natural state of relaxation for human being. Sleep quality is an essential yet frequently neglected aspect of sleep in general. Sleep quality is essential because it allows the body to restore itself and prepare for the next day. The standard method for evaluating sleep quality was subjective evaluation. Actigraphy devices, which can measure the sleep cycle, are now widely available. This study developed a method using Fuzzy Logic and an actigraphy device to measure and classify sleep quality. The fuzzy logic method was developed in several stages, which are determining the sleep quality measurement parameters, constructing the fuzzy set for each input variable, and developing the fuzzy rules. To evaluate the proposed fuzzy model, five individuals were invited to participate in the experiment and required to complete the PSQI subjective sleep questionnaire. The evaluation result shows that our proposed Fuzzy model achieves lower error compared to the existing method. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Recently, the research on daily health monitoring using a wearable sensor has been continually evolving. In the future, when this system is actually implemented, a vast amount of data transmission will be conducted from multiple sensors to the cloud server. A system capable of transmitting, storing, processing, and visualizing massive volumes of data is necessary for health monitoring. This research aims to develop a health monitoring system that can accommodate a high amount of data with high performance. The proposed techniques include numerous modifications to system architecture and technology. In the system architecture, a multi-database is proposed to enhance the reliability of the system. As an enhancement to the technology aspect, a time series database and MQTT server are proposed. As the result, the proposed system achieves significantly better performance in terms of throughput, database-writing speed, and database-reading speed compared to the existing system. © 2022 IEEE.

Integrated constructive and virtual simulations are becoming popular for tactical training in the military domain. An important aspect concerning the integration of these simulation models in the construction of virtual tactical simulations is the modelling and implementation of different kinds of semi-autonomous agents. A fundamental feature of these agents is the capability of intelligently and realistically modelling task-oriented navigation activities in large virtual terrain simulation environments, while following underlying military doctrine and tactics. This paper reviews important navigation issues that emerge in such simulation systems and prominent Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques that have been explored to solve them. From this analysis, a hybrid, semi-autonomous navigation framework is proposed aiming to fulfil the needs of virtual tactical training simulations, more specifically, in the military domain. As implemented in a system for the virtual tactical simulation of artillery battery tasks, the framework shows how to overcome the challenges of implementing realistic global and local navigation behaviours for military units and, at the same time, it shows that the semi-autonomous behaviours implemented are of primary importance to allow interaction with users for learning purposes in the simulation exercises. The Brazilian electrical system is undergoing many changes due to the exponential growth of photovoltaic systems connected to the grid (PV). This increase may affect power quality parameters, such as reduction of power factor and increase of voltage levels. This work aims to model and simulate a low voltage distribution network with high levels of integration of PV systems in order to verify how the voltage and reactive parameters behave in these cases. It was used new load curve models, the Monte Carlo method and the OpenDSS software. © 2019 IEEE.
