In recent years, with the increase in the number of dogs, paralysis of the lower limbs due to herniated discs in dogs has become a problem. There is no fundamental cure for this condition, and the main treatment is physical therapy. Usually, these dogs need physical therapy with a physical therapist every day, but it's not realistic. Therefore, it is required that the owner be effective rehabilitation at home. However, quantitative evaluation methods have not been established for physiotherapy because physiotherapy is performed by veterinarians based on their experience. In this paper, we proposes a musculoskeletal model of the dog's lower limb to analyze the dynamics of rehabilitation movements and confirm its validity by comparing the muscular activity obtained from the model with the measured EMG data. Using proposed model, we performed a simulation experiment to discuss the relationship between the timing of the input force and muscular activity by changing the timing of the input force. From the data obtained in the experiment, we investigated the relationship between the timing of the input force and the muscular activity and clarify how to input a support force for the physical therapy. © 2023 IEEE.

The potential for future energy crises is a problem the world is currently facing. Many countries are switching from fossil to renewable energy to prevent an energy crisis. One of the most developed renewable energy today is solar energy. Easy installation makes solar energy installation not only on a large scale but also on a home scale. Urban areas will be very suitable for building solar photovoltaic (PV) roofs due to minimal open areas. In installing rooftop solar PV, sound planning is needed to predict the energy potential that can be provided by solar energy on the rooftop of a building. Spatial modeling can be done to determine the energy potential and suitable location for rooftop solar PV installation. In building rooftop solar PV modeling, the level of detail of the building will affect the results of the model. The rooftop's shape and the building's height will affect the amount of solar radiation going into the building. However, the higher the level of detail of the building, the higher the cost and processing time will be. This study will review the differences in modeling the potential of rooftop solar PV using different levels of detail. This research will integrate solar radiation data from remote sensing to determine the energy potential of solar radiation and digital surface model data from photogrammetry to create a level of detail for buildings. Integration of solar radiation data and the level of detail of the building will use hillshade analysis. Hillshade analysis can review the shadow effect on the rooftop of a building which will be directly related to the potential of solar energy on the rooftop of the building. This study determines the energy potential on the rooftop of the building with different levels of detail, namely 0, 1, and actual shape, to determine the difference in energy potential in the three scenarios. This research is ongoing research into the student learning process which aims to develop artificial intelligence-based technology to calculate essay exam scores automatically, based on the textual proximity of students' answers to the answer key. This research uses an approach based on natural language processing (NLP) and text analysis. Feature extraction was carried out using the BERT model and similarity comparison using the Cosine distance method. Model evaluation was carried out using sensitivity and specificity tests. The model evaluation results show a sensitivity of 98.21%, which means this assessment model is able to detect positive cases well. © 2023 IEEE.

The objective of this paper is to develop a robot system that can transmit the video taken by the drone to the computer in real time, use YOLO to recognize the image of pedestrians, and enable the ground robot to plan the path to avoid pedestrians. External sensors, such as laser range finders (LRF) and CCD cameras, are often used on mobile robots. As we all know, these sensors are susceptible to occlusion. Therefore, even if the mobile robot avoids the pedestrian in front of it, it is likely to collide with other pedestrians that cannot be detected due to occlusion. In this study, we used a drone to shoot videos at high altitudes, transferred the videos to a computer, used YOLO on the computer to perform image recognition of pedestrians around the robot, and passed the recognition results to ROS, which enabled it to plan a path to avoid pedestrians around it. As a result, showed that the videos shot at high altitudes could effectively identify pedestrians around the robot after being recognized by YOLO.

The industry is rapidly transitioning from the 4.0 era to the 5.0 era, prompting renewed interest among scholars in scheduling problems. They allow operations to process and assemble various components simultaneously. This bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the diverse research perspectives on the potential challenges of integrated scheduling within the framework. We identified 357 Scopus articles and analysed co-occurrence keyword (CNK) by VOSViewer tools and Global Citation Score (GCS) by Scopus tools. The research data obtained from 1993 to 2023 mainly in the subject areas of Engineering, Computer science, Maths, and others. CNK identified six cluster keywords, and nine most cited articles based on normalised GCS. These results contribute to our understanding of the development of scheduling algorithms, shifting from an emphasis on manufacturing transfers to contemporary demand-centric research directions. Furthermore, this research provides a valuable perspective for policymakers, plant personnel, and manufacturing managers to make informed decisions.

Quantum encoding is a process to transform classical information into quantum states. It plays a crucial role in using quantum algorithms to solve classical problems, especially in quantum machine learning tasks. There are many QE methods. It is very difficult to determine which QE method to choose to improve classification accuracy. Therefore, this paper will analyze several QE methods. Training and testing on Iris flower datasets were performed in a architecture quantum circuit and some performances parameters were evaluated. The expected result is that we can compare the classification accuracy of some of these Quantum encodings.

This paper proposes a new estimation method for the lower limb muscle strength of the elderly that can be easily performed in nursing care facilities. Furthermore, based on the estimated lower limb muscle strength information, this paper proposes a human model that simulates the physical conditions of the elderly and, using this model, proposes a new design method for standing assistance strategy adapted to the physical conditions of the elderly. The main advantage of the proposed method is that it can estimate and model leg muscle strength, which depends on the individual elderly person, in a simple way that can be carried out by staff in nursing care facilities who are not engineering specialists, without the use of specialized measuring equipment such as electromyography. © 2022 IEEE.

The purpose of this study is to develop and investigate a new rough clustering based on optimization. We propose a restructured algorithm using only one variable, instead of the algorithm described using two variables in existing methods. We also perform numerical examples using artificial data and the Iris and Wine datasets. This research has the potential to be used as a method for determining false negatives and false positives in cancer diagnosis.
